The place is pretty small and not heavy on the decor but it was clean. The ladies were nice that serviced my husband and I. They were playful and we laughed while they did there thing. We were offered drinks, so we both had red wine. The lady that serviced me listened to me when I told her my nails were thin and took her time taking the shellac off my toes. I did not feel any sensitivity which was great. She asked me if I was sure about the color before she proceeded. We both had the deluxe pedicure. This was my first time here. Place is clean. Staff wears gloves, takes temp, have to make an appointment, has the window plates between you and them and has the 6 ft signs on the floor. Staff seems nice. Place looked clean. I gave 3 stars because they kept trying to up sell me over and over. I told them I just wanted a regular pedicure and they asked me 4 more times to upgrade to a more expensive pedicure. My nail tech cut four of my cuticles while filing. It's the next day and they still are painful. My nails on one hand are shorter than the other and look like they have a clump of product on the end of each nail. I'm still trying to remove some of the excess product from around my cuticles. There are times when "disgusting" is actually an under statement... Today's incident was such an example. I visited LV Nails Spa for a manicure/pedicure. Around 1:50 PM as Teresa was almost finished with my pedicure their cleaning associate Dieda (the name they told me) began preparing the spa chair next to mine. After unwrapping the previous customer's plastic foot bowl liner and gathering the assorted wet towels she carelessly tossed all the used items into MY FOOT BOWL... While I was STILL being serviced! After recomposing myself from this "Rodney Dangerfield" moment I asked this bit_h what was her problem, but she only replied with a silly-ass grin before Teresa claimed Dieda didn't speak English. As the cleaning associate eventually removed the other customer's plastic wrap/towels from MY FOOT BOWL the wet materials came in direct contact with my leg. I immediately asked for Linda (owner), but she wasn't there so I called Dannie (shop manager) over to express my "pisstivity." Afterwards, he went to the back room and began cackling with the woman in native tongue. When I approached the register after receiving my manicure Dannie still tried to charge me the full price without so much as offering an INSINCERE apology! I went to this place for my birthday. I thought everything was fine until the very end. I asked the older gentleman to go ahead and check me out so I would have to mess up my nails after sitting under the lamp to cure my nails. He swipe my card I paid and tipped good. When the lamp cut off I leave. Moments later a young girl come out accusing me of not paying. Shortly after the man who checked me out came with the most apologizing. I feel like the nail techs really tried to pressure me into getting more stuff done on my nails than I wanted to. For example, I wanted the basic pedicure but the tech insisted on the more expensive options. I told her no, but she wouldn't stop trying to change my mind. This was my FIRST and LAST time going here!!! I went to this place on Friday to get a deluxe pedicure and dip on my hands. The Pedicurist was very good. But the dip on my nails was is an entirely different story. The nail tech seemed inexperienced and very confused and he barely spoke English. My experiences could have been better. I've visited here twice. For my first visit, I got a french manicure (acrylics) for $50.00. Went back last week for a refill. I felt that $40.00 for a refill seemed to be too high in my opinion. I dunno if that's average price or not for a refill. Some of my nails are crooked from the shaping, so I'm not happy about that. I wish I could remember the tech that did my nails because she was very rough with the filing and hurt my nails a couple of times. She would hit the nail with the base of the electric filing tip and it happened at least twice. She ignored my "ouches". There were add-ons made that I didnt request which I guess are the extra charges like the Gel polish rather than regular polish. From two different nail techs, their application like buffing and shaping techniques are not consistent. I also got medium individual lashes ($35.00) here during the same visit for my refill. I've never had lashes before, so I thought, why not? Unfortunately, the tech got adhesive in my left eye. When I told her my eye was stinging, she removed the protective paper from my face and told me to keep my eye closed. She started adding lashes to my other eye, I'm assuming to allow my left eye to calm down. When she returned to work on my left eye, it was glued shut and she had to pry it apart! I could hear panic in her voice while she was asking if I was ok. I was fine overall and I did not panic while she resumed her work. My left eye remained watery and she had to dab it dry with a cotton swab before I left. Although the lashes looked cute, my eye remained irritated and watery so I had to wait a little bit before I could drive safely home. Later that night, I found a loose lash at the top of my head in my hair! I guess she dropped it and didn't bother trying to find it! Another issue is that my left eye had stayed irritated up until today and that's because of two reasons. At the base of the lashes on my lid, there was clumped up adhesive. Also, I realized that when the tech pulled my eyelids apart, some of my own eye lashes were torn out and stuck to the upper lid. Those lashes were poking me in the eye every time I blinked. I had to tweeze them off along with the excess adhesive before I found relief. I probably wont return to this shop and just drive into Pearland to try a different shop in hopes of a better experience. I'm not taking away from anyone's positive experience there, as they seem accommodating as they saw me both times without an appointment - of which they prefer we set. Both visits, I never received any complimentary services like wine or drinks like other guests have mentioned. I'm choosing not to return because of pricing, my lashes experience and lack of consistency with service. read more

I went in to get my nails done for my birthday. I wanted the clear nails with the soft pink powder. They used a more nude looking pink that I did not like. I returned to the shop the next day to have the color changed and they wanted me to pay full price. The woman that I spoke with was not at all understanding. I am deeply disappointed and I will NEVER return to this nail shop. The lady that did my pedi scrubbed the bottom of my foot for 15 seconds. I had to ask her could she scrubbed some more. And she was rough. I wish they would've told me they didn't know how to do my nails like the picture I showed. Decided to try a new place out so I went into Missouri City. Saw this place was open so I called made an appointment for both a pedi and full set. I got there and they had to open the door for me they are keeping it locked and are requiring every customer to sanitize their hands and wear a mask before entering. They have movable plexi glass covers and are working on your hands and feet at the same time so you aren't waiting to do each thing which was refreshing. I was in and out. Sydney did my full set ombré French tips and I am EXTREMELY pleased! My pedi was not up to usual standard but mostly because of the paint job and quickness it seemed like they were rushing. When I noticed the paint job I asked for them to touch it up and they quickly did but when I got home I found a janky toe on the other foot. It seemed like they had a few people waiting and only about 6 techs working on the 7 people that were in seats. The prices are the same as going into a fancier place but not a fancy place.They have skills* 6/5 update- went in today to get my toes repainted they were super nice and redid them! No hassle!! The nail techs are okay, it's the management that always gives me issues. I've been going there since they opened which is 4 or 5 years consistently and they never make me feel like a valued customer, they over book the techs so even with an appointment i have to wait 20-30 minutes. I have also witnessed racial discrimination against management. I noticed he offered a 10% discount for paying with cash to the customer of another race before me. Then when it's time for me to check out with cash he only offered me 5%,. When i confronted the manager he made it seem like i was hearing incorrectly and didn't offer the same discount of 10%.
