My last visit they messed up my nails and pedicure and gave me a gift certificate for the error. I blame myself for returning, but I had hopes that maybe it would be different. I went for a normal dip and pedicure for before my birthday. It was empty on a Saturday morning this should have been my first sign. I walk in to no one. The lady doing my nails was rushing and insisted on me getting dip, even asking for a tip. I explained I didn't want tips because I'm growing my nails out and showed her a picture. Before the dip, I told her one of the nail shapes was crooked. She said no worries I will fix later. Later comes, and the pics attached are what I ended up with. I started crying in the chair out of frustration and the fact that now I have to go to another place to have them fix this. Additionally, the nail tech NEVER asked what shape I wanted, she was rushing through just to get finished. They didn't offer me water or wine like the old manager did. I got the feeling I wasn't even wanted here even though it was empty. My pictures speak for themselves. Please get new nail techs.

It welcomes ladies only and you can get all Salon services with excellent customer service! Selma is the sweet lady that's been taking care of me for years! I know her days off so I know not to schedule an appointment on those days lol but every lady is professional and excellent and haircutting in color with Massage with all of their fantastic facials, which they have many many to choose from! It is relaxing and comfortable, and there are no men! The men have plenty of places to go, and this place is specifically for we ladies and our daughters! But as soon as I took my mom through the doors and due to her language barrier I always accompany her to all her massage appointments. Hand and stone isn't the most lavish one I've taken her to and been to many more higher end places where they have not given a reaction as this masseuse did. She proceeded to say it's weird etc and once I said it's ok I always accompany her she had a look on her face. Once inside the room she did ask my moms concerns which I told her and as she was stepping out she then says how she has to hurry and change because the time is clicking and it's not a full hour massage and she has to stop at 50 mins. Of course not my first rodeo so I'm aware but the fact that she was rushing is highly unprofessional. We came in at 1:02 when the appointment is at 1. I completely understand each facility is on a schedule but the way she approached this matter felt not welcoming and rushed. She kept saying I'm a professional so I need to let you know etc etc as soon as she saw my demeanor change towards her because I did not appreciate hers she shut up. I don't care how professional you are you just started your customer service appointment on a sour taste. She needs to be taught better customer care service and trained how to speak to her clients and not have them feel as if they are dumb. People come for a massage to relax and get taken care of it. My only issue was pricing was confusing. I get my hands done elsewhere and I'm not used to add on pricing. So the pedicure I booked was $50, but I get gel polish - that was an extra $20 and removing the gel I already had on was another $5. So it was $75 not the $50 I thought in the beginning. Great atmosphere - I can see why it's popular!
