This is a really neat model train display place in Frisco discovery center. There is a tour option,…read morebut that wasn't an option when we finally had gotten to try it out. It is for sure for someone in your life that loves trains and train models. It can be a quick little visit if not doing the larger tour of things outside and inside, we stayed about 30/40 minutes. They give you a little clipboard with a scavenger hunt, kids and adults, that really helps kids especially take more time to look at all of the things in the display. The folks working, along with the two or three other customers that were train people, there were very informative, helpful & nice to my youngest as he was the only kid there. Plus, for me make a day out of it and plan on going to the video game museum and/or the little learning play area in the same center. Especially based on the amount of time we spent there and the length of time we had taken to make the drive out there, so with our visit we did the video game museum cause my youngest loves both things. There is also a performance space there if there happens to be a show the same day, but the day that we went there was some sort of recital for a school or possibly a stringed instrument players contest.

We tried the gyro, no flavor, mediocre at best, so expensive , $12 for just the pita and the meat. No side, and they all wrapped up on trays, God knows how long they stay there. Lamb sliders and fries was our next choice, nothing special there either. Again, store bought slider buns and not enough meat, not tasty, fries also stay under a heat lamp, the frozen type of course. Like can you guys make some effort at least??? Fast paced, long lines, order, pay, GET OUT!!! We were not impressed at all. Best thing was the baklava sundae for sure. So... bye bye OPA! Found out the Sid Richardson Foundation ensures admission to this wonderful museum is always free. I didn't know that as I thought there was an entrance fee. Wow! Even though I wasn't particulary "dressed" for such a nice museum, the lady working the front desk made me feel very welcomed as if I was a regular contributing patron. As I perused the exhibits, one of the docents answered all the questions I had concerning the art work. Damn, all those years I worked and walked downtown and I never visited this museum. Talk about lost time! PLEASE VISIT THIS MUSEUM!! You won't regret it. I will definitely come back.

Highlights for me were the Orson Welles' car, the story of his War of the Worlds radio broadcast, old Bibles, flintlocks, spears, and Hollywood props. When we thought the tour was almost over Stephanie led us into the vault - where many of the more sensitive relics are stored. At one point Glenn Beck even stepped into the vault to say, "Hi." Our tour took 1 hour 45 minutes! It was a wonderful experience.

But seriously... only two beer station for what I counted as 20 to 40 thousand people showing up... the lines were ridiculously long. So what I chop it up to is come with little expectation. Bring your cooler as people did with water... and just enjoy the "country" atmosphere.

They might have more than soccer, but I come here to bring my son here for his soccer games. Everyone that works here has been friendly and professional. The place is kept clean and they have ample seating. There is light music playing and they also have sports of several TVs. There is a camera system so that people can watch games, but there is a cost to it, and I am not sure how much. We have had three games here so far in 2023 and will continue into 2024. Please check out their website and if your son or daughter ends up playing their games here, it should be an enjoyable event for them and for you watching.

There was no scuffs on walls, the bathrooms were nice and clean, even people seemed to be respectful and not leave messes behind at their seats when they left. It isn't a huge arena so there really aren't bad seats. We enjoyed our time here and would return if ever in the Dallas or Fort Worth area again.
