I made it abundantly clear when scheduling that I would need to be given Oxytocin in the event of complications which I was told 'of course, no problem!'. I took her on February 9th, received her radiographs and was then made to wait about 25 minutes where they could 'see about the prescription'. Once I was given it, I went through Chewy to order it (on February 9th) and staff neglected to approve the request for two entire days full well knowing Bay was due on Friday, February 13th and I stressed it's importance. I made phone calls, sent texts and was told a doctor would get back to me. I then was told it was my responsibility to upload the script to Chewy (which I couldn't find anyway) - which I then contacted Chewy and was told that was incorrect and they had been waiting for my vet approval this entire time, Chewy even called them and received no response. Regardless if I had the script or not, it was not my responsibility and the office did not prioritize my pregnant dog nor her puppies. I eventually was contacted on February 11th around 4pm by the practice manager who told me her staff did not feel comfortable prescribing the medication anymore after I spent $400 on the vet visit and now wasted two days. Fast forward February 12th - Bay goes into labor and as I expected, needs assistance from the drug; but I do not have it because Doylestown Vet had my hands tied and denied my dog the care she needed for a successful labor. I make an emergency trip to the ER (an additional $900 expense) she delivers 3 deceased puppies and 3 living puppies. We head home and now her labor is stalled again and the ER asked me to use the Oxytocin my vet should have responsibility prescribed me as standard repro practice. But here I am, unprepared because Doylestown chose ignorance over the reality of whelping puppies. I understand vet school and ethics, but if you care for some field experience, there's a big reality check here at my house because of your lack of concern for myself, my dog and her puppies. Shame on you for putting me in this position, stalling to tell me you had a change of mind about my dog's care, and then running down the clock so I had limited options on how to proceed finding her the care she needed. Edited to add, we are now a week out from Bay's delivery and I have had zero follow up from this practice. Ethics? I don't think so.

Charged me for office visit / exam, and gave me 30 days of pain meds 175.00. Called a month later, and told I could not get a refill without bringing the dog back in for blood test, to see if his liver was able to handle the pain meds. They wanted me to put my dog in the car ( that terrifies him ) and also risk him tearing his acl during the trip ( had knee repair 12 years ago, very vulnerable to damaging the repair, and would then need to be put down ). They also wanted to do blood work, and pay for another exam ( aprox $200 ), Just to get more pain meds. SERIOUSLY ? NO COMPASSION STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET CHAIN They are all about the money......not the animals SHAMEFUL !

All 3 cats were sick and were in need of medical attention that was not considered an emergency. Upon my arrival at the VetIQ office, I was greeted warmly and 'checked in' or triaged by the receptionist (who's name I have forgotten) for my pets visit. I did not wait very long until a young man by the name of Harrison came out to greet me and my animal and escort us to the exam room. He was very polite and it was obvious that he had a sincere concern for my animal, Sadly, I have not always had this experience with vets in the past. In the exam room, I met the veterinarian, Dr. Jacob Quin. Although other customers had walked in with their pets, Dr. Quin took his time and was very thorough and patient while examining my cats. He explained to me what he was doing as he did it and what his diagnosis was. He spoke to me in layman's terms and made sure I completely understood what he was explaining to me and asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. When medication was prescribed for my cats, he made sure to explain what it was for, how to administer it and mentioned any possible side effects that may occur. Both Dr. Quin and Harrison not only treated and examined my cats but they also gave them pats and cuddles. The love that I could sense from all of the employees in the office each time I have been there has been overwhelming. It is very apparent that these individuals truly love and have a deep level of compassion towards animals, this is not always the case. My impression of this particular VetIQ Petcare location is absolutely wonderful! I will most definitely be referring my friends and family to this location! The only 'negative' comment that I have is the design of the office space itself. It is an open concept and there is no door or barrier between the reception area/waiting room and the exam room. This presented a few concerns to me such as, the increased stress that my cats felt when the dogs that were in the waiting area were barking and visible to my cats. The adult cat I brought in was visibly shaking with fear. It also was very loud at times and made it difficult to hear what the Dr. was explaining to me. And if an animal got 'loose' it could potentially cause an issue with other animals that are in the office at that time. I feel that there should be some type of door or barrier separating the exam room from the rest of the office.

Other reviewers have mentioned that in the past, like most pet stores, the animals came from "breeders". HOWEVER, on a visit today I was thrilled to see that their puppy and kitten sales policy has made a dramatic, and really admirable, turn for the better! Not only have the small cages disappeared, but the pups and cats for sale are ALL rescue dogs from the Humane Society and other rescue groups! The cages have been replaced by nice sized rooms that hold 2-3 puppies which can be seen cuddling and playing together. It's such a pleasant and uplifting change. I was interested in this change and did a bit of research and came across this article...http://m.humanesociety.org/news/magazines/2014/11-12/pet-stores-offering-shelter-adoptions.html - Pretty amazing! I will gladly drive somewhere else for a cleaner environment. Oh, and not to mention, I will never buy my dogs raw food or Open farm kibble here because it's so much more expensive than where I currently buy it. I don't see them staying open in Qtown much longer. A newer pet store boutique will come along and offer so much more. No pride in ownership is very clearly going on here

I'm deeply saddened to report this, as I am an animal lover. However, the advice I received from…read morethis store regarding the care of my dragon was potentially fatal. They told me to maintain a tank temperature of 110-115 degrees, whereas my vet recommended 95-105 degrees during the day with humidity levels between 35-60%, and 60-70 degrees at night with humidity levels between 30-45%. The store advised using forest floor as a substrate instead of sand. My vet warned that if my dragon ingests a wood chip from the forest floor, it could be more fatal than sand. Additionally, forest floor retains moisture, creating excessively high humidity levels at night, which is unsuitable for dragons. Their natural habitat is sandy, and forest floor substrates are more appropriate for snakes and turtles. The store also mentioned that I wouldn't see my dragon's poop and suggested stirring the substrate every few weeks and changing it every 3-6 months. This advice shocked my vet, who emphasized the importance of scooping the poop every time my dragon goes and monitoring it for signs of health. Using the wrong substrate like forest floor means you won't see the poop because it's not the correct flooring to use. I can clearly see and manage my dragon's poop appropriately. There were many other discrepancies between the store's advice and my vet's recommendations. If you decide to purchase a pet from this store, be aware that it comes without a warranty, and they may not know the age or sex of the pet, as was the case with mine. Always consult your vet for proper care instructions, despite the store's claim of having 40 years of experience, which my vet questioned. On a positive note, my dragon was inexpensive, the store was accurate about the night temperatures, and she is thriving now that I'm caring for her properly. In addition, they are a bit rude and try to make you look incompetent in front of others. I dislike speaking negatively about people or businesses, and I am sure there are positive aspects about this place too, but always consult your vet for the best care advice. I bought my dragon to save her and i feel like they might have tried to sabotage me or just have no idea how to care for dragons.

There are baby bunnies in wire bottom cages. Their little paws were practically slipping through the wire and they could barely walk. Not that they could do much walking in the less than 2 feet of space they have. When I brought it up to the woman working there she tried to convince me that it was fine. I had to walk away to keep from losing it. There are dozens of exotic birds in tiny aquarium-like cages, the only ventilation was from tiny holes drilled into the plastic. It's clear that whoever owns this business has no empathy for these pets, I don't know how these employees sleep at night.
