Words cannot express how frustrated I am with this company. I don't think I've ever experience such incompetence in a company working on my car or anything for that matter. Start off with my 2020 Honda civic had 1 crack. Not huge, I was just trying to be proactive and not get a fix it ticket.. I gave them a call and after assuring me that they had my replacement glass, availability to perform work (mobile, which was a plus for me, but at time I had no issues driving to a shop) and after providing what I thought was a reasonable rate/quote, I decided to move forward and work with them. Everything seemed fine, so I Even asked about and schedule a follow up appointment for window tint, quoted at about 300 for all around tint. Mobile tech arrives same day. 20 minutes after I gave him access to my car, he's back at my front door. He's got this long story about how my car isn't really a 2020, due to month it was built on.. he opens the door and shows me the sticker which is dated 2020! and continues to talk about how its "different"...(were talking about a base model civic) At that same time I looked at my windshield which is now ready to pop out, no longer secured or sealed in and has multiple cracks. I finally ask him what the hell the problem was.. He then continues to run his mouth and pulls out a glass that isn't correct for my car. Continues to go on about how its wrong. wtf, lol I said OK. What are we going to do now? His response was we need to go through dealer and now job will run up to 1000! Not only that my car is not longer drivable! This is my commuter car, not having it is a problem for me as a commute everyday. At that point I had enough and asked him to leave before things got ugly... Currently working with a reputable glass company to get this done. Reputable company does not have stock and will need to go through dealer, and job will cost about 1000. Knowing this, I am now going through my insurance and only paying 500 deductible. Recently got a call back about a global shortage on this and there is no ETA for this glass. My problem is I do not understand why Quality Auto Glass started something they cannot finish. I do not know why they didn't physically check vin before completely destroying/unsealing windshield and making my commuter non drivable. Had QAG checked an notified me, I might have still used them. But I would have held off until glass was available. This would have allowed me to continue to drive my car until everything is ready to go! Cost was not an issues. I'm always willing to pay for the correct items. I was going to pay the 300 outa pocket, but if it went over 500 id go with insurance and that's not an issue for me at all.. Now I'm stuck with a dead car in my drive way with multiple cracks on windshield, its unsealed and I will have to have it towed to glass shop. I have no eta for this getting done. He was very good, efficient , and friendly. He actually has good service, his pricing is fair , but he was the only one that can get to me the next day. Reason for the 4 star is because I'm extremely picky. There was 2 small detail that got to me. Hence the 4 star. He forgot to wipe down my dash after the install, so I had to do it without getting the dust all over my car. He over a glue a very very small section. I can see it and it's bugging me.
