Dealer sent me over to get running boards on my new truck. 1250.00 and they sucked. I am handicap and need these boards to be big enough to get my foot on and be stable. Could NOT even get my foot up to the board much less get my foot in between the board and door frame. I understand that high and tight to the truck is the"style" now. But function and safety are what I paid for. Dealer says go back they are going to make this right. Drive over an hour and 80 miles round trip for them to say NO we can't do anything. Called to see if they would install the ball on my equal-i-zer WD hitch. Was told "they do not work on things not bought through them". I had tried to buy it through them but they no longer carry it and only carry the Curt brand (which is just not the same quality), so I got it somewhere else thinking that they could do the very simple task of installing the ball (takes special socket and serious torque wrench). I get that they need to make money, charge me extra for the work if I did not buy it through you. A hitch shop that is not willing to do such a simple task unless you buy their products, is a shop to stay away from! Service performed on 8/7/20. I had a 4 pin trailer connector converted to a 7 pin hookup. The installation took a little bit longer than expected. At the time the service I was compensated for that extra waiting without asking, I appreciate that. Today I finally got under my jeep wrangler to look at the wiring as I am preparing to take my trailer out. I wasn't really excited to see loose wires dangling about underneath a off-road vehicle. All of the extra wiring I have installed, I use plastic protection covers. At a minimum, I wrap them up with electrical tape. As I was inspecting further I see a red wire, which I will assume is a power wire, has a slice in the insulation near new connections installed by quality bumper. This wire is very close to the metal framing which might cause an issue if the exposed wire hits the metal frame. I was hoping for a much "cleaner" installation of new wires and no exposed/slit power wires. read more

Great experience getting a hitch installed with Quality Bumper. They came recommended by Honda dealership as well. They provided all the information I needed regarding brand, options etc and provided upfront pricing. They also accommodated me the same day as well. Installed the hitch in about 30-40 minutes and did a quick walk through of the vehicle. They gave the options with out any pressure to buy. Since this was our first hitch, it was good to understand these options. Really nice and clean waiting are with coffee/ water while you wait. UHaul does installations of hitches too and they are priced the same for my vehicle, however Quality Bumpers specialize while UHaul do it as an extra service. So these guys know what they are doing. The elation over getting a receiver installed so we could finally tow was quickly dampened by the customer service when checking out. Asked about a military discount as I was paying, told they need ID to give a discount, fiance texted over ID to me immediately, then was told by Arturo the manager 'no discount' because we 'didn't have the same last name and he didn't know if it was true'. Explained it was my fiance, was our car, our money, our trailer, and even when married you may not have the same last name. He continued the same story 'didn't know if it was true and will only give a discount if he is standing here'. So basically paid for a receiver and to be called a liar. Or maybe Arturo- if that is your real name- just wanted a glimpse of my handsome man in uniform? I guess we won't know as we won't be going back. BAD VIBES! So, I made an appointment at the Peoria shop to install some truck accessories. They quoted me for two items to be installed with a value of about $2700. As I was driving there, I got a text that said they were running ahead of schedule, so come on in asap. I replied okay great, and that I was already on my way and will be there soon. I drove as quickly as I could safely and arrived about 15 minutes early. I pulled up in front of the office and went to check in. Nate was behind the counter at a computer and basically ignored me. Okay, I thought, maybe he's busy, so I waited at the counter patiently. So finally he acknowledged me and grumbled "what do I want"? I said I was just checking in for my appointment and was a little early because of the text. He said to just wait and they'll come get me. So, what's up with the chilly reception and what happened to the hurry up and get in here asap deal? So I sat in the waiting area and another 20 minutes went by. Finally the other guy (forgot his name, long hair) comes in and says, "well, you know it's going to take 3-4 hours.." I said, yeah no problem, I know that and I took the day off work so I can wait. Was he trying to discourage me? I gave him my keys, but was starting to wonder if I made the right decision to use these guys (?). So I waited as expected... and after about 3-1/2 hours the LH guy comes back and says, "Well good news and bad news... we finished the one item but the other item is missing hardware so we can't install it". Okay, so I say you can order another one and let me know, right? "Yeah I have to call the manufacturer". Okay, so I say you'll let me know when you get it and to make another appointment? "Yeah, sure we'll give you a call". Okay, so before I leave, I asked if they could add another item to my order since I have to come back again. He said okay and gave me a quote which I accepted. So then I go home and wait for their call... a few days go by... so I text them, what's happening? "I'm trying to get a hold of the manufacturer". Really? After a week you still haven't called the manufacturer? In my experience, you can call them immediately and they'll Fedex a new replacement part in a couple days, especially to a preferred shop. So I'm starting to think... this is getting very weird, and something's not right about this situation. I wait another few days and text them again, no response. So then I call them, and no answer, so I leave a message, no response. Okay, now I know something's really up here, and they are blowing me off for some unknown reason. So, what did I do to deserve this treatment? I couldn't believe they were totally ghosting me, a NEW paying big $$$ customer! To date, I have never received any response from this shop. But that's okay because I'll never use them again! I will take my unfinished business and dollars somewhere else. Geez, I only wanted them to finish the original job, PLUS I wanted to PAY more for additional work to be done! WTF, I guess it was too much to ask of these lame clowns, what a way to run a business! However, the guys in the shop that actually do the work are probably clueless, so they are not included here. But it's a good thing the front counter guys don't work for me as I would fire them all. I really wanted to believe in Quality Bumper because my good friend recommended them to me. But after my ducked up experience, I can't recommend them to anyone... not even to a dead rattle snake... well maybe to my frenemies! LOL read more

My review of this place is a little late due to waiting for my tint to properly cure and also working with the Manager, Dennis on some challenges with tinting installation. So, my origional appointment was on Saturday January, 28th. I purchased a Groupon for $40 equating to $100 credit towards window tinting. The people here are friendly, clean place and initial customer service was good. When you arrive, the person who works with you gives you 3 options of tint quality that you can purchase and use your $100 Groupon credit towards. This may not be exact but, the prices are as follows: Cheapest Quality tint: $150 Medium Quality tint: $324 Best Quality tint: $424 Of course, these prices are without taking off the $100 Groupon credit and may also reflect that I have an Infiniti SUV. The Groupon does not state that there is an extra charge for SUV'S or trucks either. There is an additional unknown charge for tint removal. To make this brief, I fealt that the quality of installation was 3 out of 5 stars and the challenge resolution has been 2 out of 5 stars so far. Once I get things squared away, I will write a follow up review....stay tuned... read more

I bought a Groupon for window tinting at Quality Bumper. Glad I did. I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the next day. When I arrived, the employees at the desk were eager to please, very professional and courteous. I was told exactly what kind of tinting was going to be installed and how long it would take. There was a small waiting area in the showroom. There was a good stream of people coming in and out, and the employees really knew what they were talking about. No pressure sales. My car was ready when they told me it would be. They did a great job with the tinting, gave me care instructions for the next week and thanked me very much for coming in. I ordered splash guards from Nate for my 2021 DODGE DURANGO GT PLUS , he was very helpful and courteous. I just had them installed on Tuesday October 26th 2021 ..... We walked in and was greeted by 2 guys behind the counter both said hello and how can we help you .... I said I have an appointment to install 4 splash guards and they said ... We have a waiting room and a TV with coffee and water ... And everything was spotless and clean and very nice to watch anything we wanted on tv ... Also their bathroom was extremely clean ... Overall I'm very satisfied with their work and nice and strong splash guards not the cheap ones you see on other vehicles... They sell quite a bit of products for your truck , SUV, and great prices alot cheaper then the dealership ... I had running boards installed, they scratched the bottom of the rocker panel on the right side of my truck and hammered part of the metal. I didn't understand this, due to it was suppose to fit in place and be bolted on. I went over it with the sales associate and he tried to convince me I had the scratches on the truck already, but I washed my truck before I came in and would have noticed the scratches at the location.They told me they would have the Manager call me back and it's going on over 3 weeks and I never heard from him. I recommend if you go to this location take pictures of your vehicle before you hand it over to them. I took my brand new 2019 Toyota Highlander there to get a tow hitch put on. This was all arranged through the dealership we bought it from. We were originally told it would take 2-3 hours to install it. Imagine my surprise when it done in an hour... I got in my vehicle and started it. When I did, my message center had an error message about my blind spot monitoring system needing to be checked. I go back inside and ask them what did they do to my SUV because this is what it's doing now. They were insistent that everything was done correctly and what they did had nothing to do with that system. Okay, I stupidly gave them the benefit of the doubt and ran my vehicle up to the Toyota dealership (did not purchase my vehicle from this dealership). They weren't any help and informed me that it was caused by Quality bumper. Okay, by now, I'm angry. I go back to quality bumper and insist that they screwed up and to fix it. Their solution was to call tech support who said to unplug the battery for a few minutes. Okay, tried that. It didn't work. At this point, I'm fuming. They were being rude to me. The guy wanted to take my vehicle to the mechanic around the corner to get the code cleared. I said absolutely no way that's happening. My husband, who was at work, was calling the sales guy we bought the vehicle from and trying to get a hold of the manager who arranged all of this. I finally have had enough at this point and decided to just take my SUV back to the Toyota dealership I bought it from, which was in Scottsdale and totally out of the way for me. The service manager was expecting me and took my vehicle back immediately. What he found out was wrong, he was very unhappy. The tech who tried to install the tow hitch, took a short cut and instead of putting the wiring through the correct hole, which would have required the bumper to be taken off, he forced it into a different hole that had already had the wiring for the blind spot monitoring system in it, which resulted in that wiring to be cut open which caused the system to fail. The service manager let quality bumper know how badly they screwed up. Toyota fixed my vehicle up and my kids and I were on our way. I would not recommend them at all. Any future needs of this sort will not be done here. read more

Update: We were finally and thankfully able to get the owner/manager of Quality Bumper, Todd Delabio, down to the Chevy dealership who first inspected the water leak. So much easier dealing with everyone at once at a neutral location rather than the nightmare and a half that was constant back and forth calling and arguing just to get someone to understand that hey...something is wrong with our car that wasn't there before the hitch was installed. Quality Bumper was telling us one thing and the dealership was telling us another all while being stuck in the middle and told we were being bullies for our reviews. It was depressing, exhausting to the point of wanting to give up, we were getting thrown in so many directions and no one was owning up. It was a giant mess that I'm happy is finally past us once we were able to get all hands on deck. Todd was very pleasant in person and understanding that we would rather have the dealer handle our car from here on out, he definitely worked with us to figure out that at some point during the hitch installation a medium size filter looking thing with flaps that keeps water out had fallen off and was never noticed or put back on. Eureka! Unfortunately snapping it back into place required the bumper coming off but Todd offered to foot the bill and for that I am thankful to Quality Bumper. Will hopefully be setting up an appointment with Todd soon to get our car detailed and that moldy water smell out of the carpets. In the end we're very happy Todd/Quality Bumper and Chevy were willing to work with us to figure all this out. read more

I just moved to AZ from NorCal. The tinting of your front windows in CA is illegal so I was very eager to get it done here. I looked around online then decided to check out Groupon. Quality Bumper had a groupon priced at $40.00 with a value of $100.00. I have had my front windows done before in CA (illegally) and paid around the amount of $85.00 so when I saw this I thought it was a great deal. I called Quality Bumper and got an appointment for first thing the next morning at 8:00 am.being new to the area I wasn't sure how long it was gonna take me to get there and ended up arriving at 7:45. I walked in even though they didn't open and was greeted. They asked me to hang out for a couple minutes and I did. The sales guy talked to me about the different types of tints and said I might as well maximize the groupon and get the best one they had. I went with his advice and it only cost me an addition $4 and some change. I knew I was early so it didn't bother me to. They started to work on my car tinting the front windows only and told me it was about an hour of work. I hung out with my iPad and they offered me the remote to the tv and said I could watch what I wanted. I thought that was pretty cool. By the time I found something to watch I heard my name. My car was ready to go! Best part is it only took them 20 minutes. I was in and out of there before any other customers showed up! I got the tinting done the same day as I am writing this so as far as longevity and quality of the product I don't know yet but I'm sure it will be fine. I've never had any issues in the past. As far as the tint job they did I am so far very happy with it and would recommend my friends to go here. Just remember to check our groupon.com to see if they have anything on there. I called at noon on a Friday and was given an appointment for 3:30 to have an electtic trailer brake controller installed in my truck. I arrived a little early, was greeted immediately, and presented with three different options for controller units. The various features and prices were well explained. There was no pressure to buy the pricier unit (although I did choose it). I was told that the installation would take about 30 mins. The technician got started right away and brought me out to the vehicle so that I could choose the exact mounting location and bracket design. He was very patient and ultimately placed the unit exactly where I requested. I was out the door and happily on my way at 4:00. I saved $100 over the fee quoted by a local RV dealer. Good prices, reasonable wait times, but awful service and support. They installed both a gooseneck hitch and Firestone air bags in my F350. Had to take the truck back in immediately after the gooseneck hitch installation because the device that allows the in-bed hitch to flip kept falling out, they had installed it wrong. Decided to give them another chance on the airbags figuring the first time was an honest mistake. A year later, after hauling well under the maximum for my truck, the air bags failed. Quality claims they contacted Firestone and Firestone rejected the claim due to over weighting of the trailer. Quality will not stand behind the install and warranty because they are 'just an installer'. It looks to me like the install was done wrong, there is no other premature wear or damage anywhere on my truck like you would expect with towing overweight. I worked with Tim Jones (TJ) at Quality and it was very obvious he didn't care. Brought the truck in 4/26 and never once heard back from him on the warranty claim between 4/26 and 5/7, both times I had to call him. First follow up call on 5/2 I was told they were "working on the claim". Second time I was told it was rejected. They didn't even bother to call to tell me it was rejected. Quality would also not provide me the correspondence with Firestone so I could verify the warranty claim was rejected, so I have no idea what they even said or tried to do with Firestone. I will be contacting Firestone directly as I did not feel I could trust the employee I worked with at Quality. read more
