Although I had a scheduled appointment for detailing, due to the rudeness of the employees and my general concern for the level of service I would receive I decided not to leave my car for service. When I arrived there was no one in the "office" to check with so I started to drive around the building to see if I needed to enter at another door. Once I finally met someone from the car wash I was rudely told to take my car back to the other side of the building. After moving my vehicle, I went back to the door and didn't see anyone in the office so I went back to the door where I had seen the employee who told me where to park. While going through that door to the now occupied office I overheard one employee telling the other "that guy isa f#£€ing idiot". For a moment I decided to let it go and handed my keys to the other employee. After a moment of thought I realized I didn't want to count on employees with that kind of attitude cleaning my vehicle. I'm not sure if they do a good job with detailing but I'm pretty sure i won't be finding out anytime soon. After looking for more options on Yelp, there are other more high rated places in the area that I will gladly be patronizing.

Instead, he handed us the keys and let us take the vehicle alone for 30 minutes. I got a feel for the vehicle, checked under the hood, and the only problem i noticed was a broken hood latch. I mentioned it as soon as we got back and he said theyd fix it when we cane 2 days later to finish the purchase. He was incredibly helpful and friendly the whole process, very open about anything he was aware was wrong, and helped us to get the best rate on the vehicle we could. The latch got fixed before we even finished signing papers, and haven't had any problems since. I dont know about the others, but justin seemed like a genuine standup guy and we greatly appreciated his help.

I purchased a vehicle from Lakeside for $16K+. I believe they hid the failure of the Side…read moreDetection System (SDS) at the time of sale ($1400+ to fix). It is my belief, that Lakeside knowingly concealed this defect by keeping the vehicle running during the test drive and at pickup. The SDS warning can be temporarily disabled with a button. Within 5-10 minutes of leaving Lakeside, multiple warning messages appeared (Low Tire, Air Bag, Side Detection System, etc.). I immediately returned and informed Lakeside that the vehicle did not feel safe to drive. GM documentation confirms that these simultaneous error messages and inability to start the car are consistent with SDS electrical failure. Once taken home, the vehicle would only start intermittently and produced numerous electrical errors. Despite repeated requests for assistance over several months, Lakeside has failed to repair or resolve this issue. The SDS defect existed at the time of sale, was not disclosed, and rendered the vehicle unreliable and unsafe. They will not fix it or reimburse me.
