Do NOT use Quality Golf Cars in Bluffton. They performed unnecessarily work on my golf car, charged for 2 diagnostic fees and still didn't fix the issue. Total of almost $900. Spoke to the owner Judy. She did nothing, was rude and basically said , to bad. I then called Gogo Batteries(highly reccomend) they came to my home, and in 15min diagnosed the issue and repalced the celenoid for $235 total. All good. I am not sure where this is going to go. We bought a new Sierra 2 seats forward with a "trunk" on the back. Judy said she could put an ernclosure on the cart just like the one we were turning in. It isn't even close. When we got the cart back and I rolled the enclosure down among other things the rear cover is not cut to fit over the trunk. The plastic part of the rear enclosure blurs the rear camera and approx. 12" on each side is to short to meet and zip to the side pannels. When I discovered this I went over to talk with Judy. When I told here about this her response was "Don't you worry about this, we are going to make it right, wee will take care of this" Later that day one of the mechanics took measurements. Approx a week later I asked about the status. Defensively Judy said they have sent the lady that makes thes covers an email but hasn't heard back. Given the change in tone of in her voice I will be curious to see how this shakes out. Stay tuned. read more

My mother in law took her cart to Quality Golf carts for repair because it wouldn't go in reverse . It was there for 2 days and she was given a Quote for $1927.80 for a new control box and solenoid. she declined the repair and was charged $60 for the diagnostic inspection. I replaced all too common FWD and REV switch for $14 and the cart works perfect. they are scammers and will try to take advantage of you!! I wish I could upload the quote.... read more

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Quality Golf Carts. The biggest issue is the customer service and follow up. I had purchased the golf cart over a month ago from Judy prior to moving to the area. I had checked 2 weeks prior to make sure we were still on. During that time, I had asked about wrapping the cart and Judy walked me through what it would look like and how it would be done. She said she would get back in touch with me but after 2 weeks, the cart was delivered without any follow up and it wasn't even wrapped! Upon receipt of the cart, after they left, the phone would not attach to blue tooth nor the radio to find out they delivered the cart with a faulty main screen. Calling back, I was told it had to be replaced. Over a week and no-call I had to call back to follow up for them to come fix it. Several weeks later my wife called to ask questions on accessories but no response at all. We went into the store to follow up. Looked at a couple different items (chair rack, cooler holder and soundbar) and agreed on them. Over a week later with no follow up, I called back. Judy said the chair rail was in but she needed to follow up on the cooler and would call back later that day. One week later and no call, I followed up with her again, only for her to tell me it was backordered and she was busy and didn't follow up. She said due to the follow up issues she would give me the part at no cost, and I offered to come in to get it and put it on myself since it was a very easy install. She said not to worry, and she would get it handled the next day. The next day, they came out and charged me $65 for delivery fee and $140 for labor. This was to install 2 bolts and drill 2 holes (12 min of work or $12 a MINUTand the $65 was to pick up and re-delivered when work was done onsite). When I called back to question the charges and that I had offered to come in and get the item and install myself which would have been free to me. Her comment was only "what do you want to pay". The point was I offered to come in to do it myself and was assured not to worry. The amount of follow up that I had to do with this company and the results I got was frustrating. The final issue of overcharging me for install, which I felt was to compensate for the part. I felt this was deceitful. At this point I have cancelled the other items (cooler holder and soundbar) and will take my services for the golf cart elsewhere. Having confidence in a company is important especially when service is needed and feeling you are being billed correctly. This company, based on my experience is not the one. It is unfortunate, due to the fact the golf cart is good so far. read more

This is got to be the worst customer service experience. I've had since I've been down here and I've been here about a year and a half now. The first words out of his mouth were not so nice. They should've been a first indication aside from the nasty, grimacing face that he gave us along with the other woman that was there as a receptionist. We wanted to buy a golf cart charger because we weren't sure about how the golf cart was functioning after we had bought it from a reputable buyer it was having problems. We thought maybe it was the batteries but it turned out that they wanted to swindle about $100 for a service charge 65 to come out and take a look at it on top of trying to tell me and argue with us initially telling me they wanted to test a charger that had been dated about almost 18 years ago when we told them what we wanted. along with an attitude and trying to tell me what I need and what I want. I've been reviewing and going to businesses for many years. Aside from being down here, and I can call my cell very much a veteran when it comes to any kind of contact when it comes to working with a business and this is an absolute disgrace please stay away from them they don't care about their customers they don't care about how you feel and they're trying to rip you off for once I don't care about the rates or prices but if someone initiates and says they don't even care about the customer you should've walked out. read more

We purchased a brand new Bintelli Beyond golf cart from Quality Golf Cars several weeks ago. Our salesman was Sean Athey. We are very happy with the golf cart itself and are always getting compliments on it wherever we go. However, when it was originally delivered to us, there were several things wrong with it: the stereo did not work, nor did the windshield wiper, and a few other issues. These things should have been checked out before the cart ever left the dealership to be delivered, so that was extremely disappointing. It was delivered on a Friday, so once we realized that we had these issues, we immediately called the dealership but were told we would have to wait until Monday to speak to Sean as they were getting ready to close and are not open on the weekends. We sent an email to Sean that weekend outlining the issues with the cart. On Monday, Sean sent a service truck to come and pick up the cart. The following Thursday the cart was delivered back to us, almost a week later. Everything was in working order and the cart had been washed and detailed, something that wasn't done when it was originally delivered but certainly should have been. Frankly, we are so disappointed that no one from Quality Golf Cars has reached out to us since then to follow up with us, especially given the circumstances regarding the original delivery. It would have made us feel as if we were valued customers had someone taken the time to contact us to ensure we were completely satisfied and that we were happy with our purchase. They aren't the only golf cart dealership in our area, and we could have purchased one from a number of other dealers, but we chose them. Also, we were charged a $100 delivery fee and I would have thought that they would have offered to credit that back to us due to the fact that there were things wrong with the cart when it was first delivered. AVOID this business, they are shysters. I bought a golf cart for $5600.00 and it proved to be a piece of junk! Did not last 6 months, problems with the batteries, charger, brakes, and electrical connections. The owner does not care, he will not even call you back. A bunch of losers and a real chop shop. I may sue him just to bust his balls! He may wake up then, but I doubt it, as he preys on the Sun City crowd with his shoddy carts. They tell you they check out their used carst, but they just buy them, and put them on the street and it is buyer beware! read more

I recently needed one new battery from Quality Golf Cars where I purchased my golf car from a couple of years ago. When I received my bill, I was charged a $40 transportation fee (no cart was transported, they came to my home about 25 minutes away) AND an $80 labor fee for the change out which took 15 minutes. When I asked Jim at the shop what the hourly labor charge is, it was $80. Then I asked why wasn't I charged $20 then. He said, "Oh we still charge $80 for a battery change out. I think all of this is ridiculous. They have lost a buyer and a customer. Some of the reviews mention bait and switch. Add usurious. I would stay away from them. read more

I purchased a 2020 Bintelli Beyond from Bruce at Quality Golf Cars. During the sale we discussed that I would need a VIN number in order to register the cart as a LSV. Bruce assured me this would be no problem and they would send me a VIN for the cart. I have now learned this is not possible and in fact is against government rules. There are also electrical issues with the cart, the speed cluster has failed, the radio cuts on and off, and something is wrong with the battery charging system. I decided after owning the cart for 6 days it was time to return the cart for a refund and go back on the search for a "Real" LSV. After driving 2 hours to return the cart I was told by Judy at Quality Golf Cars that they do not take returns and I would have to deal with Bruce. Bruce was out of the office and she was not willing to even call him so I could discuss options with him. I have called again today I received the "he is still at the warehouse and not available" from Judy. The absolute lack of customer support and rudeness post sale from the team at Quality Golf cars is absolutely appalling. I would warn against anyone doing business with their company. read more

in 2014 I had 6 batteries and a set of cables installed on my golf cart. The batteries came with a 2 year warranty. The total labor charge was $80.00. 18 months later the batteries were not holding a charge. The cart was returned for warranty work. When I came in to pick up my repaired cart, I was informed that 2 of the batteries were bad and were replaced under warranty. I was then handed a bill for $120.00- $40.00 for a discharge test and $80.00 to install the 2 batteries. When I questioned the owner as to why I was charged the same to install 2 batteries as I was to install 6 batteries and a new set of cables, He restated that the labor charge was $80.00. And thats how it was. The owner appears to think he can do and charge what he wants as he seems to think he is the only game around for Sun City Hilton Head. News flash, many other places that one can go. . Prior to this I bought a charger plug end and was charged $72.00. I later found the same plug online for $29.00. The only reason I went back for the batteries was that in was "under warranty" The man is a price mark up and labor charging bandit. The cart was bought there, my next one will not be. Recommend one finds another golf cart sales, parts and repair shop. They are around. read more
