THEY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -…read more pretty much complete incompetence - simple job turned into a nightmare taking 3 times longer than it should because they couldn't find the parts and then DIDN'T EVEN DO THE WORK THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO then claimed we never told them that's what we wanted............... REALLY PATHETIC communication between mechanics... almost started my engine with NO COOLANT IN IT....... I came in with fluid leaks.... the SECOND leak the first mechanic pointed out was the FUEL PUMP was leaking BADLY..... 4 DAYS in their shop and THEY NEVER FIXED THE FUEL PUMP...... i had to put it in myself - because, again, they couldn't get the parts in time....... I paid $2500+ to have the transmission removed and an engine main seal fixed that was leaking badly. They TOLD ME the front main seal of the tranny was leaking, too. So, I told them, Okay while you have it out I want ALL THE SEALS DONE. They sent it off to local Allison dealer because I guess they couldn't do work on Allison trannys. After 4 days, tranny is back in and I go home. Next trip found fluid leaking out of the tranny - rear main seal of the transmission.... took it back to Webfoot - they claim I never told them to do BOTH seals...... REALLY??? WHO THE HELL pulls a tranny and goes through ALL THAT WORK and doesn't replace ALL THE PRIMARY SEALS....?!?!?! i'm about to get a damn lawyer..............................

They were ultimately unable to solve my problem without some help from the manufacturer which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. But, they are everything I would want in a shop working on such expensive and complicated equipment. They are honest, reliable, and put themselves in the customers shoes. They showed extreme patience with me and my horrific situation and I am very grateful.

We were passing through Medford towing a 20k lb toyhauler with our Ram 3500 duality. On a quick…read morevisit to crater lake, we noticed a shimmy from the front passenger side. Got back to our RV and noticed the front end seemed toed out by about half an inch. Called a couple shops that were getting 5 stars on yelp and they highly recommended custom automotive. Talked to Roy and he worked us into his schedule considering our travel plans. He called out a broken belt on one of the front tires that we had not noticed. Being carpy OEM tires we decided to have them all replaced which required us to go to a tire shop. What Ram puts junk tires on a $70k truck I can't understand. Roy had us bring the truck back to him so he could recheck the alignment. Truck drives like it should have off the lot. Roy and team managed our issue, performed their alignment and inspected our front end to ensure we were safe to travel and the cost was extremely reasonable! Thank you Roy and custom automotive for taking care of us. You guys are awesome.

So i called again, was able to make an appointment for the following Monday at 8 am, because thats the only way the quote was possible. Come Monday i am a total of 10 min late, due to traffic coming from one hour away, and when i arrive, the secretary has no idea that there is even an appointment that morning. She tells me the manager just left 5 min before i arrived, and that because i was late, i will have to wait another hour for her to come back because apparently no one else works there that can look at my truck and give me a quote. The only reason i went... A quote, apparently, is not enough incentive to wait for a customer, or at the least, have another person on standby. I was told by the secretary that the manager had some allergies or something, and that i was late, she was justified in leaving her shop. Being the only manager, and i guess the only worker 45 min after opening on a Monday morning. Is that professional in anyway? I still cant believe how incompetent and inconsiderate these people were of a potential customer. They knew i drove an hour to get there. Unreal.
