I found the room to be more than I needed in size. It was clean, and fairly comfortable, I don't always sleep well on strange mattress styles. At home I have a sleep number, that always feels right. Maybe I was just too tired after dealing with the distance and all the construction zones I traveled to get here. Well, the stay here started off pretty bad. We arrived at the hotel at 2:35pm and when my wife went to check-in they wouldn't let her check-in until 3:00pm as this was "Quality Inn" policies. I went in at 2:50 and the employees behind the front desk were checking someone in at the time. When my wife came in she made a comment about this to which the woman behind the desk replied that they were short staffed and trying to clean the rooms. Mind you this was the day after Christmas and you could tell from the parking lot that the hotel was not full at all. My wife made this same observation and the women behind the desk said it was none of her business and that she was being rude. My wife and her started going back and forth at this time and the employee said my wife was rude and she wasn't going to check us in. This is when I stepped in and said to just check us in (my mistake in hindsight) as I was tired and wanted to get this done so we could go see my family. The woman behind the counter kept going back and forth with my wife instead of just doing the check-in. She asked us how many people we had, which was six and exclaimed "Six people in one room!" Which was not the case but she hadn't even looked up our reservation for two rooms yet. Then she had to know who was going to be in each room. Then we had to do each room as a separate transaction. By the end my wife had walked away and I was finishing the reservation. I stayed polite and didn't raise my voice but I did let them know that the customer service was lacking and that it served no one for her to keep goading my wife throughout the ordeal. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and they said he was unavailable (which seems to be strange). I took a picture of his name tag on the wall and the lady behind the counter started yelling at me that it was illegal to take a picture without consent. At this point I was done. They refused to give me the manager's number and said we could try to talk to him on Wednesday (considering we were checking in on a Monday and leaving Wednesday). Also, there were signs in the lobby that because of Covid-19 that no un-registered guests were allowed. The lock for the pool that you usually put your key card in was covered up and a message was there that you had to check-in at the front desk to use it. I have never seen anything like this anywhere before. The room itself was okay, a little rundown but what you would expect for less then $100 a night. The breakfast area was small and cramped but we didn't eat there anyway. The sausage was thin and greasy, the eggs were warmed up little discs that my son said were soggy and gross. So needless to say we had breakfast somewhere else each morning. Looking at some of the other reviews in hindsight we should have skipped this hotel. We had already decided to never come again after the interaction with the front desk staff. The price is not worth dealing with people who don't seem to care about the quality of your stay in the first place. My wife got a survey after our stay and just got an auto-generated reply. Save yourself the hassle and book somewhere else. The Travel Inn down the road isn't the best but it is cheap and the people there are at least nice to you. my kids where harassed by the owners and my kids were so scared of them that they slept in our car and the owner said for them to stay in the car or she's calling the cops and the owners are very creepy and followed us around and there And the breakfast taste like my grandma's toes also if I could give this place negative stars I would the pillows had stains on them. read more

The floor of the bathtub needs to be replaced badly. The back splash needs re caulking there are holes in it. The shower head whistles annoyingly loud. The in room coffee sucks. My Husband and I stayed at quality Inn and suites in Anderson Indiana and I had the worst experience ever. We have stayed here several times in the past year and a half and this experience was horrible. We checked in at 2:30 in the morning the curtains were shredded and my husband found a dildo under the couch. The hotel manager was very rude and didn't want to give us a refund and the hotel reeked of marijuana we ended up staying in Greenfield. We ended up having to call the nonemergency police. Anyone looking to stay in Anderson Indiana good luck you'll need to actually go to fishers or Greenfield any hotel in Anderson Indiana is full of bedbugs or meth heads and dildos apparently. We were needing a last minute room, We showed up a little after check in time and was greeted by pleasant staff. The room was clean, the bedding was clean and soft. The bathroom was clean. Owners and front desk associates are very "in your business" . They ignore your signs for peace and quiet and constantly ask repeated questions that your "thought" you handled at "check in." The rooms are pretty clean at first glance but there are definite unresolved damages everywhere. Their fire exits are "out of order" therefore leaving only one exit and one entry for the entire hotel, which I'm pretty sure is a violation of their fire code. Beggars can't be choosers and I understand limited options in Anderson, but this hotel is not worth the hassle. We booked through a third party web site, online, for a good price (less than $100) because we were on a budget. We were only staying one night, just sleeping and showering I n between wedding events for some friends in the area. When we checked in, we were informed that there would be a $100 hold placed on our card for a deposit. More than the room rental itself. We were told this was hotel policy. Ok, I've never been charged a deposit at the Days Inn all the way up to the Marriott, but fine, so much for the budget. In actuality, they never placed this hold, but we limited our spending all weekend, assuming they had/would. We got to the room and it had obviously been smoked in, but it didn't smell too bad. It did make me concerned about the status of our "deposit." We apparently had neglected to list that we were going to have four adults in the room, our fault. However, the way the staff handled this was totally unprofessional. The second couple went to the room after we had checked in, but while we were away at a wedding rehearsal. We had given them a key, but they forgot the room number. The hotel gave them our room number, without their names being on the room. When we came back we were told that the front desk, "wanted to see us." Of course, they wanted us to pay the difference between two and four people. We were told this was, "for toiletries," despite the fact we asked for nothing extra than they were willing to give us for two people and one of our group left before breakfast the next morning. We requested no extra towels, toilet paper and no one touched the mini shampoos or lotions. We even brought our own hand soap because we just did. The difference between 2 and 4 adults on the booking site was $7, fair enough. The hotel wanted to charge us $20. Again, "hotel policy." They ended up charging us $18. I hope $11 was worth promoting this excellent review. Over all, the room wasn't terrible. Stuffy, but whatever, it was in our budget. One of our group works for a pest removal company and he gave the room a through search and found nothing. So, two stars for no bed bugs. However, the staff was unprofessional and unreasonable. They also apparently have policies that don't seem to exist in most other hotels. Their breakfast also stunk. Limited choice and poor quality. Also, very small breakfast space so people were walking all over each other. Holiday Inn Express just opened in Anderson. Charge via third party website was $25 more than this lovely place. After the 2 person up charge, it would have been $7 more, $3.50 per couple. People of the world, stay away from this hotel. Go to the Holiday Inn Express. Actually, there is an interesting looking cemetery next door to the hotel, so if you're into that kind of thing, stop by on your way to the Holiday Inn. Seriously, don't stay here. As Choice Privilege Member I've come to expect a moderately priced but clean comfy room with Quality Inns. But not the case here. Tractor trailer ran all night outside our room. Musty moldy smell in room and corridor. RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF ! Worst part was the horrible beds. Worst hardest beds ever !!! Worn out and dumpy !! Staff was extremely pleasant - but having said that my experience was horrid. I rented the king sweet while traveling so I could relax and get some good rest. Maybe swim in pool or set in the hot tub. Well I could not use the pool, hot tub, lobby and could barely walk down the hallway - The pool and hot tub was over ran by children, there was standing water on the deck of the pool, and the fathers of the playing children were gathered in a large group in the hallway drinking beer, I had to use the main doors because the door closest to my room was boarded up - the Mother's were gathered in the lobby where children were running back and fourth soaking that floor also, so I almost fell in spite of the wet floor sign the staff had posted - ok so the indoor pool/hot tub closed at 10 - no worries I can still rest - I have the big king room on the far end I'm ok I understand kids play - but guess what - nope could not sleep kids ran up and down the halls the entire night - finally at 530 am I decided I was not going to be able to rest so I got up and left - customer service didn't answer my first call, staff didn't help get people out of hallways while drinking, kids ran amuck and corporate customer service has had me on hold for over 30 minutes - this is just poor way to handle it - the king sweet total was 213 and change for one night - so not worth it read more

We stayed in the king room with a hot tub. It was great! The room was clean and well stocked, and both the hot tub and bathroom were spotless. They provided a nice, sturdy, clean crib for our 18-month-old at no extra charge. Fridge and microwave in the room; great TV and channel lineup! The bed was super comfortable and the A/C was perfect. STAY AWAY! While the overly chatty desk clerk tried to make the best of the situation, this hotel was a PIT. We checked in - after a 20 minute description from her on the 'amenities' - only to get to our room and find someone had already been in it. The beds were not only not made, they were covered in dirt. The furniture was stained and someone had obviously romped on the top of both beds (shudder...). We were 'upgraded" to a jacuzzi suite (as if we wanted to use it after room #1...) which also had stained furniture The bed in this room was at least visually clean... but enjoyed by two cockroaches that crawled on the bed and on the jacuzzi. When we turned on the air-conditioning, dust spewed into the room - making us sneeze and choking us. When we turned off the air, the musty room smell dominated the room. We slept in our clothes and avoided the breakfast altogether. I should also add that we had our Dog with us and the place was so dirty, we actually washed him immediately after we got home in the case he had picked up bed bugs or fleas... We had high hopes as usually Quality Inns are decent, but this one sorely needs new management, new cleaning protocols, new furniture and fixtures, new ... well everything. AND, for $77 it was not even the most cost effective option.... read more

Extremely loud and the front desk argued that it wasn't. Key cards wouldn't work. After the third set they changed our room. Heres the biggest issue by far - My wife was to meet me us there. Me and my youngest were gone when she arrived. My wife went to the front desk asked for a key and they gave it to her with no knowledge of who she was or that we were expecting anyone else. read more

Well kept hotel. Had some problems with our key, had to have it reprogrammed each time we used it. Got up in the morning to find no breakfast, only to learn that the night clerk had run off with the till and left the hotel unattended. The manager soon arrived and took care of business. read more

Adequate and could have rated it better but it was really not very clean. Our room had some small pieces of paper on the floor and the arm chair had dust in the crevice between the seat and the back. Stairs leading to 2nd floor needed a good vacuuming. Slept ok and breakfast was decent and it appeared to have a nice indoor pool.
