Friendly staff, a clean room, and good location close to anything you might need for a one night stay. This hotel gave us what we needed for a night before Thanksgiving. This place does need some upkeep and updating and is showing it's age. There was also a distinct seeage smell in the lobby area. read more

This property had an extensive renovation over the summer, but still needs some touch-ups with doors, windows, and mouldings. They installed new carpets, beds, counters, tubs, etc. My room was on the ground floor, overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard rooms have a door opening to a patio, with a large grassy area perfect for well-behaved dogs or kids to run around and expend their excess energy. The area is not fenced, so you will have to make sure they don't leave the area. There is also a patio area outside the reception area with tables, chairs, and a gas grill. There is a gazebo on the north side where all the smokers congregate. The breakfast is your standard budget hotel fare - scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage gravy, various breads, cereals, and yogurts, and belgan waffles. Not very exciting but hearty and filling. Quality Inns usually don't denote much "quality" to me, but this property is decent enough for me to want to come back and spend my own money, and is perfect for a quick getaway weekend. Worst hotel I've stayed at in a decade! Bathroom was obviously not cleaned ---How did I know....Think your worst. The carpet flooring in hallways looked like it was a dirt road. Half the lamps did NOT work! Maybe to hide lack of cleaning??? Hard to get anyone at front desk to pick up their phone. Left 4 messages for GM to call me back since 2-21-24 and still not a word. I got up early to check out of this dump! Was locked into paying for this since it was too late. Decent room, could've used a little more cleaning. $82 the first night and 80$ the next. Stayed on the bottom floor that has access to outdoor area. I don't recommend that floor. Blinds were in bad shape and needed a new seal around the door casing. Could see right through it. Felt like any second someone was gonna come ask me to spare a dollar. Other than that everything seemed ok. Few dents and marks but decent. I'd stay here again if the Holiday Inn was booked. read more

The stay has been fantastic I travel a lot and stayed in numerous hotels and the room is good but the service is off the charts, first checking in I meet Cierra she was kind , courteous and very professional. I went to my room after a hard days work and the house keeper Blanca had room very clean. When you are on the road 5 days a week it's nice to feel appreciated. read more

If you quit don't expect a paycheck they will pocket the money and act like you never worked for them. I quit after 3 days working room service because they ran out of gloves. When I asked if we could get another box they told us to scrub the toilets without them with the reasoning from the boss that, "I've scrubbed these toilets for years without gloves and I'm fine so just do it." To clarify they had 1 box that was already partially empty for about 6-7 janitorial staff so you could see why they would run out. After trying to contact them by the phone numbers they gave me and by going in person to the Inn I was ghosted many times and at that point I gave up on trying. Overall not a good place to work and from the state of the rooms probably not a great place to stay either. read more

First off I will start with the positives, the staff was outstanding and polite, room service did a good job with general cleaning. The reason behind the 1 star is strictly based towards the owners, everything is falling apart the drop ceiling in my bathroom was scrapped up and damaged, the windows were old single pain so being my room faced the road I could hear every car with a bad exhaust scream by all night or the guys staying up all night partying. The outside looked fine as long as you didn't look up towards the second floor and notice the wood trimming falling apart. Basically to sum it all up the staff did the best they could with what they where givin which didn't seem to be much. We were in Bedford for business reasons, and decided to stay here because of it's accessible location We arrived around 11:30 pm. Check in went smoothly, and the clerk diligently informed us of the pertinent aspects of our stay, including the temporary boil order the town was under, due to a water main break. After check in, we parked near the side entrance and proceeded to enter the building. The hallways were less attractive than the lobby, but appeared to be fairly clean. Then we entered our room. Upon entering the room, we were immediately hit with a stench that smelled something like a mixture of cigarette smoke, urine, and mildew. Within moments, we spotted our first insect. Our initial thought was that it was a cockroach, but I haven't found anything to corroborate that yet. Before making it to bed, we saw three more of the same insects, two of which escaped, due to the tiled ceiling in the entryway and bathroom. As we were unable to identify whether or not the insects where harmful, we decided not to take any chances. We slept restlessly through the night, as the sheets and pillows smelled terrible, and due to our nervousness brought on by the unidentifiable insects. After a short night, we turned on the lights to find two of those unidentifiable insects on the ceiling directly above the bed, and one on the wall right above the nightstand. As we proceeded to get ready, we spotted two more of those same insects, plus two large brown recluse spiders, and also an insect that we believe to be a household centipede. In addition to the insect infestation and foul smell, the ac/heating unit would not work at all. Our room was burning up, and we were unable to get the AC to turn on for more than 30 seconds. I have no comment on the breakfast, as there was no way we could bring ourselves to eat there, with that much uncleanliness and that level of insect infestation. Checkout was smooth, except for the fact that it was a battle to get back the imprint they took of the credit card for incidentals. They specifically stated that we had no incidentals, and they had no reason to charge us further, but they still refused to give the imprint back. We were short on time in the morning, so we had to come back in the evening after our business was complete to get the imprint. Overall, that process took about 30 minutes that evening, laden with sad excuses as to why they needed to keep it, and then phone calls to the owner after the clerk ran out of canned excuses. Bottom line: This hotel's rooms are filthy, insect infested, the service is less than acceptable, and I won't be staying here again. read more

This place is not marked with a sign. The hotel staff are very nice but the hotel is very outdated. The rooms have some sort of pest control chemical smell. Breakfast was alright this hotel should be one star rated. I wouldn't recommend staying here. read more

As our super-hero mission came to a close, Chancedude and his trusty sidekick decided to wind down in the Comfort Inn of Bedford. All I can say is it will take a super-hero to make this place livable. We get that the outdoor pool was closed for the winter, but when a hotel advertises a fitness center, it's a good idea for them to keep it open. There was a sign on the fitness center door that said closed for renovations. The only renovations that were going on involved all the fitness equipment being pushed against one wall, and pillows and blankes on the floor making it look like a kindergarden nap center. We decided that it may be a good idea to do some laundry before flying out the next morning, but they had exactly one washer and one dryer for the whole hotel, and they were occupied througout our stay, The room looked nice at the start, but after running the heat on high for almost an hour and still freezing, we realized that the door leading to the courtyard was being bombarded with the cold breath of Dr. Freeze, causing a nasty draft into the room. The comforter was a bit scratchy, and upon inspection looked like it hadn't been washed in months. The shower controls made it impossible to get a continuous temperature, and the showerhead had a leak in the side. Wi-Fi was exteremly slow, and we lost our signals several times causing us to have to re-do things that we were working on online. I decided sometime around 2am to make my way to the front desk to get a cup of super-java, and noticed that one of the main hallways had the distinct smell of a particular green leafy burning substance. Breakfast was marginal, short of choice and substance, although they did have sausage gravy biscuits which made it bearable. Checkout was quick which was a relief, because I just wanted to get out of there and head home to our super-hero headquarters. Oh, while there, we had to help a guy in a wheelchair several times, because even though they have ramps and "accessable" rooms, the hallway and exit doors are far too heavy for a disabled person to be able to operate on his own. Fair price, average accommodations. The stars are mainly for the level of service we received from the hotel staff. I stayed with my 14 month old baby. They had a crib waiting for us when we arrived. The free breakfast was way better than I expected! Eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, juice, and an assortment of baked goods. They even had a high chair for the baby. The woman in charge of the breakfast room was so sweet. She brought out a fresh jug of milk from the kitchen so I could fill the baby's bottle and didn't seem to mind the mess we left (sorry!). The front desk attendant had a smile on her face every morning and even helped me print out plane tickets as we were checking out. Our last night there, the baby was wandering around the lobby when she stumbled and bumped her head. Nothing serious but enough to make her cry. A quick thinking member of the staff ran to get me a bag of ice wrapped in a towel. It's not easy traveling alone with a baby, but our hotel stay was so convenient and everyone there was so helpful. Check in lobby was nice,front desk woman nice and room was decent too. Cons: bathrooms need updates and needs new doors. Other than that it has a nice bed and good pillows. DANGER, DANGER WILL ROBINSON!! Avoid at all costs! If I could give zero stars I would. You won't believe the negatives but you can't make this stuff up, so here they are. Hopefully I can keep it short and sweet: 1. non -smoking room smells heavily of smoke. 2. Blood on fitted sheet on bed. 3. Broken phone in room so had to walk to front desk to complain about said bloodstained sheet. 4. En route to front desk, discover blood droplets ... a path of them...on floor....all the way to lobby. 5. Teenager at front desk appears to be non-plussed about blood on sheets and promises to tell manager and get someone to clean up floor. Gives me sheets for bed-housekeeping is gone for the day so I have to remake my bed myself. 6. Upon stripping bed realize there had been no top sheet. While re-making bed I find a dirty sock on the floor under the air conditioner, and it's not mine....unknown if it comes out of the bedding, or was on the floor all along. As if the blood on the sheet wasn't bad enough, now I am completely grossed out. 7. Try to find other accommodations. Due to college graduations, everything is either sold out or price gouged. Stuck here for the night. At least I know I have clean sheets. 8. Run out to eat.... blood still on floor. 9. Return....blood on floor cleaned up-Hallelujah! 10. Wake up. Check out. Run...RUN...never to return again! Second worse stay of my life. First was in NYC when I caught some kind of rodent enjoying my Reese's Peanut butter cup as a late-night snack. I wish I could give this place zero stars. By far the worst place I have ever stayed. It's old and falling apart. There was mold all over the bathroom. The towels were disgusting. Had brown spots all over them. The door leading to the outside didn't lock properly, the blinds were broken so anyone could see in. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non smoking hotel room. They were doing some "upgrades", so it was extremely loud and we had to move rooms. The hotel, also, smelled of some kind of chemical which we came to realize was probably some kind of bug bomb, as my pregnant sister was bit by some kind of bug, several times. Along with finding TWO ticks, one on her and another in her bed. When brought to the hotels attention that this had happened, they didn't seem surprised at all, like they knew they had a bug problem, yet still asked for proof. My sister showed pictures of her chest and neck where she was bit, and they said we should have saved the tick and the pictures weren't enough proof. DO NOT GO HERE. Send health department immediately. read more

For a school function with students, we had to stay a night in Bedford. Within 30 minutes of checking in, we found a bed bug crawling on the wall. We were able to get a picture and take it to the front desk. All rooms were booked (have no idea how/why), so they gave us a roll away bed and we had to double up in other rooms. There were ants in another room and even another had stains on the sheets. The guy at the front desk tried to be as helpful as he could, but there wasn't much he could do. Each room we had booked had something significantly wrong with it. Not sure where they are "renovating" but it's sure NOT the guest rooms. Yuck! read more
