Trash. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Our smoke detector was literally hanging on by TAPE, scotch tape. The same tape they used, must have been brand new because whoever used it ripped the initial piece of it off and just stuck it to the doorframe. We found gum stuck to the wall. It didn't even blend in it was legit like a green color. The walls in the bathroom had toilet paper and random stuff stuck to it. Pretty nasty room. read more

My wife and I spent four nights at this location. The first day we changed rooms. The room was old and beat up looking. The couch was stain, the furniture was scratched up , the mattress had a slope in it and when we looked out the main window we were looking at a taco truck. I have a little girl with the disability. Who is the 100% cognitive but that requires 100 percent physical assistance, and it's non ambulatory. The pool lifts didn't work ! Actually , I got stuck in the pool with my daughter and tried to get her out by myself injured by back! The manager decided not to extend our stay because they said too much traffic, which was mostly respite workers and helpers physically ti assist me, which I told them in advance! They Complained multiple times about the use of our towels.because sometimes my daughter gets A little messy. Not only did they complain to us , but they gave us a stack of cleaning towels to use for her. The manager was very Passive aggressive and refused to Speak with Me or return my phone calls! The night attendant a male was horrible, very passive aggressive! We had tons of an equipment after the promise of extending our stay , they didn't want to do the extra work to keep us there. My wife and I stayed here last night. The hotel and room were what I expected. When we woke up in the morning, the bathroom smelled like someone was smoking in it. Neither one of us smoke. As we were getting packed up to leave, about 10:30 this morning, housekeeping taps on the door and immediately walked in. I'm very thankful we were both dressed and almost ready to leave. WARNING: YOU MIGHT FIND BLOODSTAINS IN YOUR ROOM! Stayed here for one night out of desperation due to the fact that I didn't have a place to stay for the night after booking at another hotel. So upsetting! I settled for staying here- never again! From the looks on outside it looks decent, I didn't see any strange activity so I thought it would be safe for me and my family to sleep. Upon into walking to my hotel room for the night, I decided to snoop around. The beds seemed clean & the bathroom, but I found multiple bloodstains in the room. The blood stains on the window curtains are the ones that stood out the most and it scared me! I don't know what the he'll happened here I'm concerned for my safety. For all I could imagine, maybe someone got murdered here?! Went to the front desk to express my concerns to the front desk, he didn't seem to care. He did offer another room to stay but I'd be downstairs. It was late at night, the other rooms probably won't be any better I better and I didn't want to go look for another hotel. This review is for renting the meeting room, we did not stay in the hotel so I can not comment on the rooms Vimesh, the new owner, is wonderful! He communicated very quickly and clearly and was very friendly. We rented the meeting room for the day. When I arrived they had the room ready to go and clean. Vimesh had a projector set up for us. They provided coffee, tea, juice, fruit and pastries for the morning. There is no restaurant on sire so we had lunch catered in. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! CLERK (DEVAN) RUDE TO BUSINESS CUSTOMER 11/12/18 I experienced a customer service issue that was so offensive that I had to take the time to post this review. I arrived at "The NOT" so quality inn in Lathrop California today at 0615 hours. I was there to attend a meeting for Swift Transportation and needed some information on the location. Swift Transportation uses this hotel for its employees. I said good morning to the motel clerk and asked about the location for the Swift meeting. The clerk whose name is Devan smiled and said he didn't know anything about it. I asked if he could look into it. His reply was "No, he didn't know anything about a meeting ". I asked if I could speak to someone who may know such as a manager. His reply "I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING OUT YOUR ASS". I said wow, that's poor customer service you really need to fix that. Devan escalades the poor customer service by saying sarcastically "YEAH, I'LL DO THAT RIGHT AWAY ". I asked for his manager and apparently there was no manager on site yet so I asked for the name of the manager. Devan provided the name Pete. I called the motel at 2pm and there was no Pete but Vic who answered the phone said he was the owner and could assist. I informed Vic and he assured me it would be taken care of. However, I told Vic the the comment Devan made was so off the wall offensive the I will be calling the corporate office customer service to report the incident. Vic was somewhat put off and I could tell that he would rather I trust he would resolve the issue rather than me report up. I let him know that I will trust that he will resolve the matter but may still report this. After thinking about the abuse, rude, and inappropriate comments Devan made I wanted to ensure it was handled and after speaking with Vic I did not have 100% confidence it would meet my satisfaction for resolution. I called the corporate customer service line and they took a report and provided an incident number for me to follow up. Now I believe this incident may get addressed appropriately. It's not that I'm saying don't use this motel. But rather don't take any BS service from this place. It's on record and if you get bad service then report it. BTW, the corporate office said no one named Vic owns the motel. It's under another name. Devan, grow up and act professional. Your a fool. Owner- I informed Swift of your employee. read more

One star for the great staff. Otherwise terrible place to stay even though it was just for one night. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything that's going on outside and in the room next to you and above you. People park in the back parking lot and blast music until 2am. There are fast food restaurants right next to the hotel so you constantly hear revving and loud music going through the drive-thru. Worst of all, there were pubes EVERYWHERE in the shower from the people who last stayed there. Gross! Was going to have a relaxing bath but no thanks. BLUF: clean, dry, serviceable. No major complaints. I'll most likely be back. I stayed here 8 Dec 2014. I read the other reviews prior to arrival, and well, let's say I don't scare easy and chose to keep the reservation. Let's get to the meat of the matter. Aside from other reviews I read... It was all clean. the lobby, room, hallways, pool area, gym, no issues. Sure there were a few minor thing noticed, like a scuffed doorway, holes in the shower wall where the curtain rod was adjusted, stuff like that-but I saw nothing that made me cringe. The one suggested improvement is the breakfast eggs... And the very slow internet. Again- minor. Cudos to the young lady who checked me in. Great job handling the "difficult case" that was ahead of me. Very polite, professional, and friendly! Sure This hotel is a tad dated. But worth the money, and a great alternative if traveling on a budget. read more

We get there and we approach the front desk. We aren't even greeted. My brother has to say that we are checking it. There are two girls there and one of them looks up at us and says "Ok well we are changing shifts right now so we will be right with you." Made me feel so welcome. So we went and sat on the couch in the lobby for about 10 minutes and the girl finally asks the name the room is under. She then proceeds to tell us that it is a SMOKING room and that she has no more non smoking rooms to switch us to. My brother and I do not smoke! She said the smoking rooms do smell and all she could give us is some Lysol to help. And because we booked through Hotwire we have to go through them to cancel. We had just driven three hours from our last location and we were tired so we didn't want to deal with Hotwire on the phone. What sucked even more was we were stuck here for two nights! The room was HORRIBLE. Musty, strong cigarette smell, cigarette burns everywhere. Shower head sucked, it either shot out water too fast that hurt or it dribbled. The area was sketchy and the guy in the room next to us stood in his doorway and watched us unload our car which made me nervous. The only perk was I was with my brother and there was only 1 bed. The room had a pull out bed couch so I didn't have to bring in the air mattress. We ended up going to the Target to get Febreze and a Febreze candle. It helped the get rid of the cigarette smell temporarily but we felt the front desk should have offered more for the inconvenience. We should not have had to spend extra money to go to Target and get Febreze. Apparently they have free wifi... but it doesn't work. There was a free breakfast but we got out of there as soon as possible. One of the worst hotels I've ever been to! read more

A devastatingly poor hotel and still somewhat expensive. Another hotel I've been forced to stay at 5-10 times on business and while 2-3 times my stay was okay, the cleanliness of the rooms has progressively gotten worse of the years. Most recently the hotel did not adequately dilute their bleach in the wash and I ended up with a full-body rash from the sheets and towels. The rooms face the outside, so there is no privacy or protection, and you can hear the all-night Taco Bell and jack in the box drive thru orders screaming away. Apparently there was also an altercation with a gun/shooting at the club next door. Poor service, bad rooms, and a general lack of pride in the product. read more

Taken with a grain of salt (...or two) and looking at the big picture, this property is A-OK with me! :) Yes, it's dated, the rooms have 70's-80's furniture, and there always seems to be dings, cracks, stains, and marks on something in each room. I stay here once or twice a year with my job, so in 5 years I have been here at least 6 times. OK, now let me tell you the good stuff :) There are always microwaves, refrigerators, coffee pots, and a decent TV with a decent selection of cable channels. The bed sleeps comfortably, no complaints there, and the best thing is (drum roll please......) there are 3 major fast food joints 20-50 feet away! :) (it's the small things in life ya know.....) Seriously though, the staff has always been really nice to me, the rooms never let me down (I have no issues, and am not too picky about dings, marks, or cracks), and ALL the stuff I want & need on the road are HERE! Food, coffee pot, microwave, free Wi-Fi, oh and of course, a smoking room! :) I stay at a LOT of other hotels every year, and can PROMISE you, you get tired of hotels that are a bit more modern, charging for Wi-Fi, or a microwave, and some went totally none smoking, so to hit this hotel/motel with all the things I like, need and want, is akin to winning a little on a slot machine! LOL ;) BONUS! DING DING DING! I have no problem recommending this establishment to anyone, but just remember, this is California, and on a VERY busy freeway & barely outside Stockton, it's going to run a little high, but you could go into Stockton, and pay 2-3 times as much, right? ;) read more

Horrible experience! The hotel let people partyyyyyy at the pool most of the night. We had a soccer tournament here and our kids had to get a good night sleep and get up early! After several attempts with the hotel to quite the parting the hotel's answer was well if your kids fall a sleep by midnight or 1am they will still get 8hrs of sleep. I could not believe it!!! So unacceptable!!!! The last time we spoke with the front desk they told us oh well if you don't like it call the police! I will never stay here again! I totally recommend the Hampton Inn across the street or even go to Manteca!! The sports tournaments in this nice town will be feeling the effects of this lousy hotel for there clients to have to use!!! No trash cans in unit, cabinets tied closed, food left in cabinets from the last guests! This was a horrible experience! So unfortunate!!! read more

This place actually needs a zero rating but, unfortunately that isn't an option. So me and my coworker had to come up here to train. We thought we were getting put into the holiday inn but instead got stuck here at the "quality" inn. There isn't anything quality about this place. It's old and definitely needs a face lift. I opened the door to our room and all we could smell was smoke. Stale smoke like a nasty bar would have. Then, we walk in and the carpet is stained, the wardrobe pain is peeling, the microwave wobbles, the fridge was gross, the toilet seat was peeling and to top it off the bathroom has mold. I called our travel part of our work and they couldn't get us in anywhere else until two days later. So we had to stay 2 nights in this dingy nasty musty smoke filled motel. Save yourself your money and you're better off sleeping in your car. There isn't any quality to this quality inn. read more

I don't spend much time in NorCal, out here for work, good hotels are a dime a dozen around here. I took a chance here, the rooms is okay, clean but outdated. Dirty grout in bathroom tiles, peeling wall paper that falls an inch or two from coverage to the corner of the wall. TV and fridge appear to be about a decade old. Road construction makes access on the south side is challenging. Turn the TV up to drown out traffic noise, enjoy the bass/ car stereo coming from people just sitting in there cars in the parking lot. Every room is clearly marked "no smoking" but the constant and overwhelming smell of pot is fairly consistent here. You are close to fast food, including the taco truck that apparently has rights to a part of the parking lot since parking spaces are coned off specifically for the gut-truck. The breakfast is, eh..... okay, powdered eggs, sausage links and waffles. Go to Denny's across the street. Try and avoid this place, especially considering the cost. You can getter a better contact high and for cheaper at the local pot store. read more

It always astounds me that motels close to the freeway in certain parts of the country are just awful. The review I'm giving this motel has nothing to do with the front office staff who were very nice. The parking lot is not big enough for all the rooms you have - the spaces are so narrow you can't get your doors open once parked. Enter the room - they are gross. It's not the housekeeping, it's that they are run down beyond anything but a complete overhaul. The sofa in my room literally had black grease from I assume hair and arms. I asked for more towels to cover it. The carpeting is gross & extends into the sink area of the bathroom - vomit. I covered the floor with more towels. The baseboard was coming away from the wall. The mattress was quite broken down. I paid over $100 for this dump. Plus my little dog cost $15 and he's I really have no redeeming things to say - it's going on my list of never book here again. To top it off I was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi the whole night. read more

Some guy tried breaking into my room through the window at 2:30 am. Luckily my girlfriend heard him and woke me up before he could get all the way through the window. I was able to spook him and he ran off. Don't bring family or valuables with you to this hotel unless you have no other options. Not as advertised. Much of what is advertised did not work and worse. The spa does not work, the sauna and steam room are used for storage. The clerk at the front desk said none of it had worked since he had worked there. The room was not that clean as there was some trash and dust on the carpet. The beds were in bad shape as well. Actually a 2.5 Hotel really isn't that old, room was clean however we had a suite ( choice hotel points) the a/c in the sitting room was blowing warm air and it was 97 outside at 6pm. We closed up the bedroom section and it was very comfortable. After 10 minutes finally found the turn on button for the hot tub which was hidden behind a very large hybicus plant. And neither will the 14 other families that stayed at this MOTEL with us during our daughters softball tournament. The hotel said they had a BBQ grill for our team to use during our stay so we went and purchased items to BBQ and when I asked the front desk where the BBQ grill was he said " in the pool area." I looked other parents from our team looked. And it was no where to be found. I asked again where the BBQ pit is and the guy at the front desk said let me look, he couldn't find it called manager. I guess they got rid of it which is fine but why tell your guest you have one and then they go and purchase items for a BBQ that couldn't even happen. The manager was useless to talk to he could give a S&!T about his costumers. He just took the $ and ran. He told me things like the parks have BBQ grills, or you can go buy a BBQ grill, or there are really good restaurants in the area, or to order pizza. WTF what kind of manager says that??? Not one who truly cares about customer satisfaction. The rooms were DIRTY. One family said they saw a COCKROACH. When I asked for clean blankets they said " sorry were sold out." 2 days in a row.
