Was told I needed to leave a $100 deposit and they never gave it back , I want told it was a cleaning fee cause we never called them to clean our room, when we first Checked in I was never told I needed to call front desk so they could clean my room, we only stayed there for 3 days and they never checked on us we needed towels and things to be cleaned but I've seen other reviews now saying that even though they called the front desk they didn't do anything about it and still charged them a cleaning fee, plz don't waste your money here when they're going to trick you and charge you a cleaning fee when they don't let you know how things work at that hotel!!!! read more

BEWARE-- Save your health and your money. Check in: July 29. The plan was to stop here to rest for a few hours while a storm was passing through the area. Unfortunately the resting period was short lived and ended much sooner than anticipated due to an unsanitary conditions. I've stayed at a few Quality Inns before, typically for a very short period, and they met the expectations for a 2-star hotel but shucks, everyone is deserving of a clean tub, at the least. This hotel apparently isn't in the business of cleaning bathtubs or bathrooms for that matter. The tub was filled with water and God knows what else floating around in it; it's obvious that it had not been touched by housekeeping. There was hair on the toilet. The bed was made and everything else appeared to be "clean" but judging by the bathroom's appearance, assumption that the rest of the area was "clean" was hard to believe, especially with dim lighting. This mishap speaks volume of the quality and cleanliness of this particular hotel. I will never be back. I didn't bother asking for another room because at that point there was no other room that I would've felt comfortable sleeping in. I used my Choice Hotels rewards points to book this stay so a refund could not be issue at the front desk but only through tele customer support, so I was told. I left a large note in the bathroom reminding housekeeping to clean the bathroom for the next guest. Now that I have read previous reviews, unsanitary conditions are a norm at this place. To top this experience off, I woke up with a stomach virus on Tuesday morning that has lasted about 2 days now (still recuperating). First thing, the staff we dealt with were all courteous and helpful. It was downhill from there. It is super rundown and we did a little quick cleaning to feel more comfortable. It is a place I would go to as a kid low on money to spend time near the beach. It's not a place I will go to with my wife. The staff is great but they have little to work with. I would not recommend Quality Inn at all. When we arrived to our room there was tissue, a false finger nail on the floor in the bathroom, feet marks in the tub. We checked the bed because it was musty in there and had read the reviews on bed bugs. We discovered mold, hair and food crumbs and stains on the mattress and mattress cover. Our sheets were also dirty. When we pulled out the pull out bed for the sofa it had food in it, someone's used eye lashes and was disgusting. We were barely in the room for 10min when we went down to ask for a refund. The receptionist was nice and totally understanding and told us that since we booked through hotels.com we would need to contact them. Fine, we called hotels.com and they approved it but they have been trying to contact the hotel for A MONTH trying to get in touch with the hotel for this matter. They will not refund us out $300 until they speak to the manager. This is ridiculous. No one would have stayed in this room it was disgusting. read more

First off, this was more of a "STAYcation". I just felt like getting my kids out of the house for the night and drove about 1 hour to get here. The front desk clerk, Shelby, was super friendly and helped me get my room booked. I was even dumb enough that I booked for 2 weeks later and she was easily able to move it to tonight since they weren't booked... The room shocked me.... In a GOOD way.... Much nicer than I expected, felt like it should have been a $125 room a night instead of what I paid.... Room smelled nice and everything was supper clean. The TV had 2 hdmi ports and my kids easily connected their Xbox one to it. (There is a trick to connect an Xbox one to their wifi but you need to google it- "how to connect your Xbox one to a hotel wireless network"). Deals with manually entering an an alternate MAC address, pretty easy. The jacuzzi/hot tub was out of order but the pool was clean and open. Only my daughter braved the cold temps in January but she had fun for... 3 minutes!! Looking forward to their hot breakfast here. Great to know its included and their is an awesome church next door called "Generations United" that starts church at 10am on Sunday we are going to check out. Cheap, but definitely room for improvement. Typically, I don't ask for a lot for hotels when I'm on a budget, but I do like a comfortable bed and hot shower. We had a semi-comfortable bed (I can sleep pretty much anywhere) and a hot shower for part of the time we were there. The hot water went out twice. They did offer to let us switch rooms, but one, that'd been an inconvenience, and two, how do we know we wouldn't have faced the same problem? The staff, while pleasant, didn't have a lot of compassion. The exercise room had a treadmill, weight machine, and elliptical. Wasn't the greatest equipment, but was adequate and the TV worked. I didn't use the pool or hot tub, but the hot tub was working. Things in their favor: onsite laundry, $1 a load for wash and the free breakfast wasn't too bad. They had make your own Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, juices, bagels, and pastries. Other than that, I wouldn't immediately choose this hotel. They weren't busy at all and I'm not sure they ever are, but in case you're passing through, this is good for maybe a night or two to save money. read more

Do not go to this hotel. We stayed in one of the king bedrooms and the toilet is not secure to the floor and liquid was coming out of the bottom of the toilet. OSHA needs to be called. I asked about the Moldy pool and the guy said they were supposed to come and clean yesterday but I can tell you that it's been several weeks since that pool was cleaned. There was mold on the sidewalks from the air conditioning units. The biscuits at the breakfast bar were stale. When we cancelled our reservations because of the nastiness with the toilet oh, they did not offer to give our money back. Do not go to this hotel. read more

Quality Inn? No. Wrong. First I will begin by saying the hotel staff here is extremely welcoming and nice. They're the best part of the stay. All the front desk clerks we encountered were great and the woman running the breakfast was extremely sweet. However. The rooms are something else. They are dirty, outdated, and flat out gross. The walls and ceilings are cracked, the bathroom fixtures are rusted, there were bugs, and the people actually at the hotel were scary. The paint was god awful as well. They went AROUND the top of the curtains, and didn't even bother to clean up extra. The ceilings looked cracked and crusty. The bathroom was gross. I bleached the tub before taking a shower. There was an odd shower mat inside the tub that had a big blue splotch on it. It was more like a crackhead convention than a hotel. There were always people outside drinking and smoking. Even when it was raining, one was sitting outside in a pool chair smoking while getting drenched. In reality, it's not a hotel, the doors are outside. It's more like a motel. My dad wouldn't let me go to the car alone. There were always weirdos lurking. People were caught sneaking into the pool and continental breakfast because there's no real security or gates around the place. I was getting ready for bed and saw a roach scamper out from the bottom of the bed. Also, my sister was taking a shower when she saw one in there. There were flies in the room as well. After taking a nap one afternoon I realized there was a rather repulsive looking yellow and brown spot on my comforter. Honestly, this place is not worth the 100+ a night you pay. Don't waste your money. It's sad because the staff is extremely welcoming. If we would have had the option to cancel and leave, we would have, but we were on a tight schedule and budget. read more

I wish I could give this hotel 0 stars. We booked this hotel via Hotwire. We have had great success in the past with Hotwire. Let me say this, there is absolutely NO quality in this Quality Inn. Upon arriving the hotel grounds looked unkempt. There were mattresses out at the dumpster. So my initial thought was bed bugs. The room was no where near quality. It was dark with very little lighting. The decor was cheap. There was a burn hole in our comforter. The floor was so dirty I had to buy socks because I was not putting my feet on the floors. The floors were not carpeted and when we asked for a broom, the maid came with a broom but didn't have a dustpan. She simple swept the debris out the door. We contacted Hotwire and they facilitated our checkout and placed us in a new hotel. When we packed our things to leave, we noticed stains on the mattress. They do not have any operating ice machines. This location should be ashamed for the amount they are charging. If I paid $40/night I would expect subpar conditions. read more

I am only giving this one star because the staff for the most part has been very nice. But if i could i would give it 0 stars. This hotel is less than desirable with its stained furniture, cracked ceilings, disgusting showers that were clogged and peeling, poor paint job, doors that hang crooked, uncomfortable beds, itchy disgusting sheets, who knows the last time the comforters where changed. The first room we were in had what looked like old blood stains on the comforter. But the last straw and why I'm finally writing this review, is supposedly they changed our sheets to "clean" ones. There is sand in my bed, and not just a little. This will be the 6-7 time I will be asking for clean sheets from the front desk. I'm so done with this crappy hotel. Booked my room in the morning. Got there that evening, got my key and went to the room. Pizza boxes, beer cans, no sheets, FILTHY. I waited an hour to speak with the "manager", but he never did anything but call the cellphone of the desk clerk to see if I was still there. There are people living in the rooms in the back of the motel. Their things are blocking the walkways. They shove trash out their doors & onto the walkways in the mornings. Although this was a good trip for me and my new fiancé, the accommodations were minimally acceptable. The staff members were nice, but there weren't enough of them to effectively manage the motel. Having come from Phoenix, the dank ambiance was good for my skin but my clothes and the bed sheets often felt damp. (FTR, it only rained once.) We changed rooms bc the first one was gross and had hair on the shower floor. The breakfast was typical and lacked healthier options. There were also other issues too with the laundry room and our door key. Our key cards didn't always work properly and once, while cuddling with my fiancé, a few kids unlocked our door and walked in on us! No. Just no. Is there a way to rate this for zero stars? All I wanted was to NOT stay for both nights I had booked -- I didn't ask for a refund, just to check out late the second day and move on. The clerk at the front desk must have assumed I wanted my money back or he wouldn't have interrogated me over what time I checked in and what time I went to dinner. He was adamant that I had not given them the chance to make it right. I understand the hospitality industry quite well, as I am part of it. I suspect that this must be a frequent problem because the default questioning assumes the guest is guilty before being proven innocent. At the end of the discourse, I was not charged for the second night and found accomodations elsewhere. What was wrong with the room? Aside from the aesthetic choices of a black wall and laminate flooring, the floor itself had not been cleaned in a very long time. The obnoxious cleaner "smell" was confusing. Every personal belonging I took in the room absorbed that smell. The floors were strewn with dirt and dead bugs, the mirror was smeared, the comforter was stained, and the hair in the tub pushed me over the edge. Many materials in the room were tattered, dirty, dusty, and dingy. The walls and floors were in poor condition after cheap repairs. It's also possible the bedding and towels were actually clean, but even now I am doubting myself. If we had not been totally exhausted at check in and my husband in intense pain (scheduled for early surgery the next morning), we would not have stayed. Honestly, in the dark it seemed a bit rough, but light of day exposed the worst of it. Perhaps that's part of the reason for the black wall? I am not one to write harsh reviews, I believe in grace, and usually choose to ignore it when a service is not up to par... I am not that picky. But, this was ridiculous. The clerk at the desk seemed to be deaf to my explanation and bent on turning this back on me. If he had asked more questions to resolve the room's problems, not assumed I was dodging a bill, this could have ended better. As it is, he gave me more than enough to share with social media and online reviews. *Dear Mr. Clerk at the front desk, You might have considered listening to my specific situation, checked the room with me, apologized profusely, voluntarily returned my money. Again, I did not ask for it, as we stayed one night and used your services. I intentionally treated you honorably and fairly. I would like to preface this review by saying I got sick the morning I was supposed to check in and they were accommodating enough to let me check in much earlier so I could get some extra sleep while my family hit the beach. I wish I could remember the woman who checked me in because she was extremely pleasant and sympathetic of the fact that I wasn't feeling well. I can tell she really cares about people. Unfortunately, the check-in was the best experience I had. My family booked 2 rooms, one for my parents and sister and one for my girlfriend and I. Around 3pm, as my girlfriend and I were laying in bed, a man attempts to get in the room. Because I had it latched, he could not enter so he asked if we were supposed to be there. I said we were and he didn't respond but stared through the crack in the door for about 30 seconds before closing it. It wasn't until later that I learned he was a maintenance worker. The room phone started ringing about 5 mins later. I must've tried to answer it at least 5 times, but it was broken. At this point, I text my family who calls the desk from their phone to let them know what's going on, resolving the problem, right? NO! Less than 5 minutes later there is pounding on the door. Having just had a strange man try to get in, I ask who it is and get no reply. This repeats about 3-4 times until finally they respond "front desk". I answer and lose it. It turns out, they tried to give my family the same room they had already given me and after multiple attempts to fix what they thought was a faulty key card, they determined the door was broken, hence the maintenance man. All very understandable if not for the unprofessionalism that was shown by trying to get in without knocking, treating us like criminals and not responding when I asked multiple times who was at the door. My girlfriend was legitimately afraid. Anyway, we ended up getting a refund a going to a different hotel. I feel bad because it probably would not have happened if they weren't nice enough to let me check in early, but it also could have been avoided if the worker identified himself, or asked for the name on the reservation, or if they had a working phone. Also I don't understand why the pounding on the door was necessary after we had already called and explained I was in the room. Despite previous reviews, I didn't notice any serious issues with cleanliness, although I knew what to expect from having stayed there before. Motel quality. Get what you pay for. read more

On July 30th Monday afternoon we checked in to Quality Inn in Niceville based on photos it's beautiful it's perfect but once you get into the hotel there's like pains all over the freaking Hotel not the building itself but actually like where the trash is at when you think oh there's a little trail that goes up a hill nope they're just bunch of trash and would like this is the worst place I've ever picked.... When we got to our hotel it was so hard for me and my husband to flush the toilet it literally took us 5 minutes to just stand there and trying to flush the toilet, Dan the bed the actual sheet for the bed did not fit it keeps going off or coming out... We asked for housekeeper to give us extra towels at first she was rude because I asked her to give me some extra coffee cups and she was very very rude she was saying how you already have two cups you they need more I'm a guest I paid for the hotel if I say I need cups I need cups I don't know what to tell you guys if you ever get a hotel I suggest you get a different Hotel I've seen a lot of good prices out somewhere it's nice that's a point Aid ratings don't take this hotel Because by the time we got to our hotel the floors were so dirty we have to use a towel to wipe every little corner there was spider webs around the freaking behind the sink... Oh my God also on the website it says you guys have a hard top me and my fiance were so excited to go to the hot tub and we know it is said that it was closed... We were so disappointed there's no activity to do in this hotel the vending machine you have to go all the way down even though it said on the brochure that the vending machine would be right next to the ice machine will the ice machine is on the other side of the hotel so we went there it wasn't there we had to search through the whole building if you're going to have a machine ice machine and laundry where you do your laundry put some kind of fan on because it's too hot that is a lot of rats in the building we just walked around at night and there's a door we're open it and it was nasty it does not say that it's in the process of being and process of working no sign nothing the hallways were trashed nasty I'm sorry it's just this is my last time staying there I was very very disappointed and to charge $223 for two nights with that kind of you I want my f****** money back plus the voice is so trashed I don't think it's worth my deposit or any of my money and when I talk to the person and the front desk she said a real at the housekeepers now and what you need some good damn Management in there... Oh and when your Wi-Fi sucks saying your Wi-Fi is high speed internet it's not it took us 25 minutes actually plug into Xbox another mention people are so creepy out there they just stare at you and stare at you and make you feel very very uncomfortable I swear I feel like that hotel is meth only for sexual offenders or anything like that I was actually afraid to bring my own kid in there.. read more
