I am writing this comment because of Jessica at the front desk. She is definitely a keeper. She is the only reason why I am writing this compliment, as she has always been so accommodating. Jessica is a courteous lady who always maintains her professionalism and is friendly. She always responded with a smile and her sweet voice. I honestly think that everyone else there in that hotel should emulate Jessica's style in dealing with their guests. The reason why I gave this a 4 star is because of the breakfast. I was not allowed to bring my breakfast plate into my room so I could do my computer work and not have to use-up my time in having to finish my food first. I actually extended my check-out time and paid $20 hoping that I could get things done, but instead I used my extension in the breakfast area. I had never experienced this in other hotels. I actually found it very strange. But going back to Jessica, thank you so much for being so kind to me. Wishing you many blessings. read more

I really don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but sometimes it's necessary. I've stayed at pretty much every hotel around this area. When most places charge $55-$60 a night, it's tempting to try different options--especially if you're coming in just for the basics: a shower and a place to sleep. To be fair, the room itself was clean. Housekeeping did their job well, and I have no complaints about the front desk staff either. Everything on that side was polite and professional. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. This property is clearly overdue for a serious renovation. The furniture is extremely old and worn out, the curtains look unpleasant and tired, the air conditioner barely works, and there was an uncomfortable smell in the room that never really went away. These are not small details--they directly affect the stay. What makes this more frustrating is that nearby competitors offer the same price, but noticeably better quality. And not slightly better--much better. My main concern is for the ownership: at this point, maintenance alone isn't enough. This place needs real investment and updates to stay competitive. Conclusion: Clean room, decent staff -- but outdated, uncomfortable, and not worth choosing over nearby alternatives. For now, I'll be staying elsewhere. read more

Initially I was very underwhelmed overall. Very small TV's with no Tv Guide. The bed has no support they just sink and creek. It's clean! Clean sheets, nice outside and front office. But. Motel 6 has bigger rooms with bigger & better TV's and so on, and this is more expensive. However after giving it a shot, it's kind of nostalgic. The 2000's movies, making it work with older technology. Has a fridge and everything. Like we're still surviving and thriving it's just very standard and they could give their patrons a bit more to enjoy. God Bless! read more

I stayed here for a few days over Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. The parking lot layout was a little confusing since it's shared with other businesses and another hotel, but I was able to figure it out after arriving. Staff was friendly at both check-in and check-out, and my room was clean and ready when I arrived. My only issue was that my shower clogged the day before I left. When I went to shower the morning of checkout, there was still standing water in the tub. Thankfully, the staff was very accommodating and quickly moved me to another room so I could shower before leaving. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend staying here. read more

I had booked to stay because they were pet friendly and I had even called to double check, they said they were. Upon arrival, they immediately said my dog was restricted from being in the lobby and in the pool area. I told the front desk lady, that I had a stroller for my dog for when we went to the pool area and she said that wasn't allowed as well. As a "pet friendly" hotel they only restricted my dog to the room but then said the dog couldn't be left alone. My dog is a pug, she isn't a big dog so I went to check out the hotel next door. They were pet friendly and they said it was okay for my dog to be in the lobby, and by the pool area without her stroller. So if you have a pet, don't bother staying here. They most definitely aren't pet friendly. read more

So the room had no working AC. I woke up at 3 AM trying to turn it on. Didn't work. Called the manager. He said there wasn't anything he could do but tell me to talk to the morning manager. He came to the room at 3am to try to get the AC on. Didn't work. Spoke to the morning manager. She said she is going to have the maintenance guy check the AC and she will call us later to give us the results. I don't understand how that helps us in our room last night at 3am. We've already checked out. In addition to that, The pipes bang inside the walls every time the water is run upstairs. Not pleasant. Would not recommend. Will never come back. read more

Quality Inn's slogan is "Get your money's worth". I don't feel like we did, but neither did we feel totally ripped off. Our room and the hotel looked a little dated. The room was on the small side but had useful amenities including a good sized mini-fridge, microwave, medium sized TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, and a desk. The king sized bed was comfortable, but I noticed a tiny red stain on the comforter. The sink had a wide counter and was conveniently located outside the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was good, though the showerhead was a bit low - people over 6 feet tall would have to duck. There was free parking and free WiFi. On site is a pool but no fitness center. The hotel has a partnership with EoS Fitness (5 miles away), where showing your room key gets you free entry. We didn't have a chance to go, but pictures of that gym look pretty nice. Free breakfast was served in the communal dining room. Options included bagels, toast, English muffins, mini muffins, waffles (make your own), instant oatmeal, cereal, bananas, egg and sausage patties, and hard boiled eggs. The selection was ok as far as free continental breakfasts go. At night in the room, a faint traffic noise could be heard through the door. I couldn't hear neighbors through the walls, but I did hear dull thuds through the ceiling from people on the floor above walking around. If you don't mind these "things that go bump in the night", then you'll probably have a comfortable night's sleep here. We paid $168 (including tax) for our Saturday night stay, which felt a tad too high given the mid-range quality of this place. I guess prices at hotels in the area include a premium for the SoCal wine country locale. read more

Earthquake Hotel! This is where I was when SoCal got rocked. Not bad for the $177. Great staff. Can't do five stars because of the following: 1. Too many mirrors in the room. Anywhere you sit you're looking at yourself. No ceiling mirror, thankfully. 2. Giant gap under the doors. Welcome everything! 3. Shower head is shoulder lower than Beto O'Rouke's popularity among Republicans. It's like Guatemalan middle school locker room shower level high. I like to stand UNDER the shower, which is impossible here unless I kneel or move the office chair to the shower. Then I wouldn't be STANDING. This low shower head is the perfect level say, if, a baby deer (yes, fawn, I know) wandered in the room under the door gap and you felt compelled to give it a shower. Of course that would piss off the mother deer and she would kick the sh_t out of the 400 mirrors in the room. read more

My husband was working in the area so we chose this hotel for the price and convenience. We were not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. Siew, the woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful answering all of our questions. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The microwave and refrigerator worked well and the bed was comfortable. Due to the chilly weather we used the heater and it worked very well. Continental Breakfast (Coffee, Juices, Fruit and Pastries) were available in the lobby during morning hours. Will most certainly stay again next time I join my husband for a work trip. read more

First off, the picture you see on Groupon looks nothing like the actual hotel. It also mentions Temecula Valley Wine Country to hook you in. Basically the hotel is right off the freeway. If you are in the pool then you see and hear cars on the freeway and they see you. I give it an extra star because employees were nice and tried to do their job. However, for $260 a night. Definitely not worth it. The room smelled musty once inside and the walls must have been paper thin. Not only could you hear people walking around and talking but at one point someone above us let out a roaring fart. I am laughing as I write this because it was unbelievably loud. You would at least think the TV would be big enough to sit back on the bed to enjoy. However, it was a regular small television. Not the kind I usually see in hotels. They also mention continental breakfast which pretty much included tiny cans of orange juice and processed muffins in wrapping. The ingredients listed pretty much spelled out "stay away" So, my stay was disappointing but I never let that bring me down. The weekend was still a success. If the room would have been under $100, this review would have 3 stars. Note to management. Try and get larger televisions and freshen up the place. read more

For the price, I'd say we got what we paid for. We booked through Hotels.com for a pretty cheap rate, especially compared to a lot of the other places in the area. The hotel was definitely no frills. The room was nothing special. It was a place to sleep and it worked for that purpose. We came to the area to wine taste and the hotel was only about a 15 minute Lyft from the wineries. It was super easy to catch a ride over and very convenient. It also was only about 8 minutes from Old Town Temecula. Parking is free and plentiful. There are also some restaurants around the area that are easily accessible. If you just need a place to rest your head in between drinking tasty wines, this is a solid spot. read more

Very terrible. I booked this room for a couple nights while I was at a conference in Temecula. The reviews were good and I have had good experience with quality inn in the past. I wasn't expecting the ritz, but holy cow! First impression was a dingy parking lot full of street zombies and a very large family yelling at each other as they piled out of their dilapidated mini van. It was immediately clear that this hotel is more temporary housing for the destitute than a vacation spot. The gal in the front was super friendly and helpful, and that was the first and last positive experience of my stay. The room was worn down and dirty. Visible marks and stains on the comforter, floor and even the curtains. Everything had a layer of grime to it, and everything else had rust and corrosion on it. Plus sides: tv was ok, bed had no bedbugs and sheets appeared pretty clean, and excellent water pressure in the shower! Downsides: constant noise from aforementioned street people downstairs accompanied by obligatory police sirens, ac wouldn't work at all unless left on full blast, and the continental breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffins and juice. Overall I'm happy I didn't get bedbugs and my car didn't get broken into during the night. Word to the wise for those who aren't from around here: Temecula is a very nice city, but this place is not, don't let it be your impression of the town and stay somewhere nicer! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. The price per night was pretty high for the quality of the hotel. The room had a decent amount of space, but the bed was hard and the walls were paper thin so you hear all kinds of noise. I also am not a fan of hotels with the doors on the outside. To top things off the staff was extremely rude. We came back after the wedding, around 10:30 PM and I asked to fill my water bottle in the lobby. The man at the desk rudely said it's open at 6 AM (for the water/juice dispenser). I asked if they sold water at all to which he said it would cost $1 per bottle, but they could not charge it to the room nor could they bring it to the room.  I've never stayed at a hotel anywhere in the US where water is not provided either in the room or in the lobby. Insane. I will never stay here again. read more

Wow! Usually, I'm not one to leave a review, let alone a bad one!!! This hotel was chosen by my girlfriend of 8+ years for my birthday weekend in May of 2021. As my girlfriend was an employee at Quality Inn in the city of Placentia during the time of our stay, I thought to expect the same quality of service that I have received at my girlfriend's branch. This was not the case. Instead, over our two day stay, we received no room service. (Apparently we needed to make a reservation with room service the night before, but we were never told this upon checking in.) When I was checking in, they said that they were taking my card to cover incidentals ($100 fee) incase any damage my come to the room. Except it wasn't just my card information. They then proceeded to charge my debit card $100. After the transaction had been completed, the guy who was helping me realized what he had done and told some lady behind the counter that he made a mistake. He said "I accidentally charged him $100." She replied, "that's ok, just issue a refund to the card after they checkout." So when my trip had past, I went to checkout. I was told that I had been refunded, and to expect to see the $100 back in my account within the next couple of days. A week had passed before I realized that the $100 was never returned. I also noticed that there was no record of them making the refund whatsoever to my bank account. After I saw this I called the Quality Inn of Temecula Valley and was told to call my bank and figure it out because they had made the refund on their end. They told me my bank must have a hold on the $100, but my bank told me they didn't. So I disputed the $100 charge and then a month or so went by and today I received a letter saying "We can't dispute the $100 claim as you inserted your chip into the chip reader, and by doing so, you authorized the payment." WHAT A SCAM! Not only has the Quality inn in Temecula Valley lost my business for good, but now I don't feel comfortable staying at any hotel associated with Quality Inn. I don't recommend staying here unless you want to be scammed out of $100. read more

A/C barely worked. Ran it 24 hours a day just to keep room in high 70-low 80's degrees. No cold shower water. Choices were very hot to medium hot. Hole in base moulding in bathroom. Bugs? No housekeeping services. Had to go to office or pool to get dry, fresh, towels. Other Choice Hotels at similar price point at least make your bed, vacuum and give you clean towels. Door lock finicky. Our cards wouldn't work. Front desk instructed us that door handle had to be horizontal or magnets wouldn't line up. Worked perfectly if we raised handle and then swiped card. Conversely, pool and jacuzzi were clean, fresh, at proper temperatures and quite enjoyable. Too bad motel wasn't as nice as pool area. Never stay here again. read more

Nice little hotel in the Temecula Valley Wine Country. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 8/10 On the exterior the hotel is constructed in an adobe style and has exterior opening doors. I don't like this as much as doors opening into and interior hallway, but being in California, it's not bad at least insofar as the weather is concerned. SERVICE: 9/10 Front desk staff were very nice and friendly. Overall very helpful. VALUE: 7/10 I think you get what you pay for. It may be a touch pricey, but no bad as there is breakfast included with the stay. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 7/10 I would consider this location again if I were to come to the area. I'm really seriously regretting coming here. It seemed nice enough but once you get here there's yellow caution tape covering the entrance and rain gutters with spikes hanging off the ledges. I was just calling twice.. And extremely disrespected by the front desk manager, Jessica. she tried to tell me that I didn't pay all my fees, even though I did, and I had the paperwork to prove it. apparently everyone that I've talked to the manager but not one reservation has gone, right. Corporate Customer Service just hangs up on you once they have no resolution for you. The closing manager threatened me telling me that if I wanted to stay another night that I would have to pay more. this is after I already made my reservation and paid. read more

Stayed here two years ago, did not have a good experience. I left feedback when asked via email about my experience. Rachel, a manager, sent me an email inviting me back to try again and that the offer is good for anytime. One week later the pandemic happened and I haven't been able to take her up on it. My wife and I were recently going to be in the area for hot air ballooning and we took Rachel up on her offer. Two years later, she still honored the agreement and everything was quick and simple, she set everything up for us. We arrived, checked in, slept, checked out, and experience couldn't have been any easier. We were happy with the cleanliness of the room and we had a very good overall experience. We were happy we gave them another chance and look forward to returning again in the future. My only complaint was lack of modern usb ports to charge my phone and electronics, but that is such a small thing. We'll done overall. We were happy and it made our trip much more pleasant. read more

Have to say this hotel was a gem. It is easy to view off the freeway but kind of hard to find when driving on the street. I ended up passing it. The check in was easy. The customer service was excellent. This person was very welcoming which was refreshing after a very long drive in traffic. Check in was fast and we were able to get a downstairs room. Upon entering the room it was very inviting. The beds were nicely made and the smell was fresh. We immediately changed and made our way to the jacuzzi outside and around the corner. The water was at the right temperature (light boil) and the pool area was clean with plenty of towels. After relaxing made our way back to the room where we had stock of towels and complementary toiletries. The beds were not too soft nor too hard. The pillows could have been a little more firmer but they were fine when you doubled up. It was nice to have a small table in the room so we weren't eating on the bed. We used the microwave for popcorn and it was nice to have it above the refrigerator. Most hotels have them hidden behind a door. Took awhile for the room to cool off with the air conditioning but when it finally did it was nice. Not a lot of noise outside and plenty of parking. The shower head was perfect. Some have it where you barely feel the water, others have it where it comes out too hard it stings but this one was like a medium waterfall. It was a bit lower then most so it would be short for someone who was 5'10. The breakfast...the star of the hotel. Make your own waffles, sausage, eggs, bagels, all kinds of bread for toasts, buscuit with gravy (gravy kept warm in a Crock-Pot), cereals, juices, fruit, tortillas so you can make a burrito, in small fridge on counter they have yogurt, milk, condiments and hard boiled eggs. Best hotel buffet breakfast so far. Would definitely stay again! read more

Not bad for one of the cheaper hotels! I booked 2 king bed rooms for my BF, me, and parents for a wine tour weekend. The location is off the beaten path a bit because it sits behind a strip mall way off the road. Thus, it was quiet (yay!) but no one's cell phones got much service haha. You get free access to EOS gym - there's no gym on site. EOS is 6-7 min away. We don't have that in my area of LA County, so we weren't sure what to expect. It was super nice ... even had a movie theater inside! Lol If you have Planet Fitness Black Card, there's a PF a few miles closer to the hotel. The breakfast included cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries, biscuits, English muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage, white gravy, and 2 types of waffle mix. It wasn't bad for a free hot breakfast except the eggs where the fake McDonald's kind. The breakfast room employee was so sweet and attentive, as were every front desk employee we encountered. 4/5 stars is because my parents' room smelled like dog pee to me. It is a pet-friendly hotel, but not once did I hear any dogs or see poop outside. I'm not going to complain ab the slight smell too much because my parents didn't even notice and I'm a dog owner, so I appreciate when hotels allow pets! read more

I can not praise the general manager, Rachel Riley, at the Quality Inn Temecula Valley Wine Country enough. Amazing quality of service is an understatement that this lovely person offers. My husband and I have been treated like royalty EVERY time we stay at this hotel when we visit Temecula. The rooms are spotless, and very comfortable. You can smell the cleanliness when you walk through the front doors of the hotel. We have stayed at this hotel many, many times, and each time is as lovely as the last. Rachel is so personable, and genuinely cares about her guest sincerely. And why do I say that, is because she remembers her guest by name, and also remembers little details her guest like during their stay. Rachel is pure QUALITY!! Choice Hotels are privileged to have Rachel Riley as one of their representatives. Sorry Rachel, MY DISAPPOINTMENT: The fabulous breakfast bar was taking out due to COVID-19. My suggestion, you bring it back, and have staff serve guest.. It's a highlight of our stay. Rachel has always provided her guest a fabulous breakfast bar that we completely enjoyed. BUT, breakfast bar, or not, we would not stay at any other establishment in Temecula Valley as long as we know that Rachel is the GM. I am only concerned because a big deal was made about leaving a deposit for incidentals...I've been a Choice member for years and this is the first time they've asked for a deposit...maybe it's the neighborhood?? I have no problem leaving a deposit, but I'm concerned I may be blamed for the door that doesn't close all the way (it will latch, though); the one less towel (I booked a bottom floor room for three people); the crud on the walls; ding in the bathroom door; and dirty tub. I called the office a few times...no answer. Then I called direct from my phone. Still no response. I just wanted to alert the manager as soon as possible. Just in case. The time is 3:39. I was given my keys at 3:10. I was a bit early and I was told the room was ready, but I could not check in til 3:00. We waited in the 95° parking lot. I understand it's their policy and had no problem waiting... but they should have made the other people wait 'til three, too. read more

Stayed here for one night in room 306. My biggest complaint is that the bathroom smelled awful, like someone had just use it. The smell didn't go away, and permeated throughout the room when we opened the door. The room wasn't in great repair. Our check in experience was great. Jessika was very helpful and accommodating.
