The night of the 25th we all got hit with an icy snowstorm. I somehow managed to blow the main breaker in my home( not my fault I think!). I lost all electricity to my home which included heat!!!! I had spoken with Chris on the phone about a problem, and he was very nice on the phone and tried to assist me with possible solutions. I booked an appointment with him and told him I would let him know if his idea worked if I could fix it on my own. I texted him several times to get advise,(and didn't get a text back) and left him a voicemail message letting him know that I would still need the appointment. He never showed up and didn't answer the phone when I called him the day of the appointment. I realize that he is busy and can't return calls right away, but it would be nice to return it at some point. read more

We had an appointment scheduled for 2/9/2019 and we were blown off. No courtesy call telling us they were not coming or asking if we wanted to reschedule. I called 3 times, left 2 voicemails and a text and did not get a response. We secured parking for them in our building which could have been used by someone else had we received noticed they weren't coming. Since the appointment was for a Sunday we talked to our neighbors to make sure any noise wouldn't be an issue. We waited for them all afternoon and it burned up our whole day waiting. 100% unprofessional. A couple months ago they did work that we were pleased with, however to just blow off an appointment and not bother to send a text or call letting us know they can't make it is unacceptable. Not only lives up to, but SURPASSES the hype! Chris (Owner) is the kind of professional you always hope one day you'll be able to work with, and I haven't even met the guy. Let me explain: I was doing a garage facelift over the weekend, and there has always been a switch hanging by the wires from the back wall of the garage with no wallplate. I've never touched it in the few years we've been here, until the other day when something brushed it, heard a fuse pop and the garage lights went out. Since I will never be accused of being an electrician and my one solution of switching the main breaker off and back on didn't work, I hopped on Yelp, looked through a bunch of electricians, finally calling Chris based on the reviews. After listening to my story, this guy spends 45 minutes on the phone with me, describing in wonderful detail exactly what I should look for when I get home, how to address it when found and then sends me pictures of what I was looking for to make sure I was clear. I hung up the call with a page of notes and pictures on my phone of precisely how to resolve my problem. I get home from work, follow his instructions and send him a picture of my electrical box as requested. I get a text 5 minutes later of, "Sorry, in class can 't call now. But, 6th switch down on the left hand side. Move that to the right and back to the left and you should be good to go." 1 minute later, all electricity was back on! HE DID ALL OF THIS ON THE PHONE, SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO SPEND ANY MONEY. They do not make professionals like this anymore. He easily could have said he needed to come out to look at it, charged me to do so and I would have happily paid. It would have been the easiest job of his week. But he took almost a collective hour out of his day to solve an issue of a guy he has never met or accepted any job from. This is how you do business. read more

I realized a couple of years ago the circuit breaker box was causing us problems. I delayed replacing it because I had heard the potential cost. Finally, we could not delay any longer. I had seen that Quality Residential electric had great reviews and called. Chris came as soon as he finished with the previous client and did not disappoint! It turned out that our "box" was very good quality but the previous owners had used the wrong circuit breakers and that was contributing to the problem. He explained everything to me ( man, did I learn a lot!). The price was dramatically less than I thought it would be. He was a little late, and that is to be expected if the electrician is working on someone else's home before yours. There are often a few surprises. But he did come and complete the work in the time frame he had promised. We are so grateful. His assistant John was great as well.Neither of them talk down to you. I highly recommend Chris for any electrical project or emergency. We had a random power outage in just a couple of rooms in our house (kitchen, living room). I called Chris because he was available after hours. As I attempted to explain the problem he told me he was going to try and avoid me having to spend any money and tried to help over the phone. He asked for photos of my fuse box and talked my husband through a number of things he could do/look for in attempts to solve the problem. Ultimately, it was poorly done wiring by the previous homeowners. Chris made a house call and diagnosed the problem. He could've easily repaired the wiring, which would've cost hundreds of dollars. Instead, he advised us that Com Ed could and should repair it for free (which they did). After advising us to call Com Ed to address the problem, he even spoke to the Com Ed rep rather than us trying to fumble through an explanation of the problem. Chris came out, on a Sunday no less, found and diagnosed what was giving me issues. Simply put, Chris is a homeowners dream! He is ethical and reasonably priced. We weren't getting electricity to out Family Room and Chris came the same day. He stayed for 6 hours and because he couldn't figure out the problem, he did not charge us! We then called another electrician, and after about 15 minutes, he informed us that he would replace all the wiring for a little over $3000! Because Chris knew our house after 6 hours and said that he thought he was getting close to figuring out the problem, we called him back. Chris figure that if it was just rewiring, he could rewire at half the other electrician's price. When he came over it was still bugging him that he couldn't figure it out. After about an hour, he figured out the problem! The final cost was only $500! His tenacity and expertise is impressive and with his ethical pricing he has won us over!
