I was told by another professional knife sharpener that the edge of my knife blades were damaged by CF Sharpening, uneven. Jim (CFS) told me Japanese knives are more difficult to sharpen. I just wish I had known he wasn't experienced enough to sharpen them. Sadly, I am having to pay extra to get my knives repaired by another company, more reputable. I can only hope I get my knives repaired by Thanksgiving. Ugh!

I called and sent photos and they agreed to assist me. I met the owner of the sharpening part of the business and I could tell immediately he had a passion for fine cutlery. He immediately put my mind at ease and outlined what he would do to repair the damage. I was also informed it may be a week or so as it would be a delicate operation. That was fine as I love the knife and felt it was in good hands. I received a call in about three days and received pictures of the tip. Immaculate work. I could not be happier. CUTCO kitchen makes that easy and I can get all my knives sharpened easily as well as get other products for my kitchen. The staff there are very helpful the forever warranty for CUTCO makes the products well worth the price and provides confidence. My scissors broke and they shipped them in for me to get a new pair. Love this store. I hear it is going to close. I hope a new one opens nearby soon!!
