I called and sent photos and they agreed to assist me. I met the owner of the sharpening part of the business and I could tell immediately he had a passion for fine cutlery. He immediately put my mind at ease and outlined what he would do to repair the damage. I was also informed it may be a week or so as it would be a delicate operation. That was fine as I love the knife and felt it was in good hands. I received a call in about three days and received pictures of the tip. Immaculate work. I could not be happier. Chef Kate led us on a wonderful 2 hour culinary adventure making roasted chicken, kale salad, a Lemon tart, marinated artichokes, and a delicious aioli. The chicken had a golden brown skin, cooked perfectly. Tasty and crispy. The kale salad had a great flavor thanks to the nice dressing that you make. The lemon tart is made first due to the amount of work and steps involved. It is a nice treat to go with the meal. The artichokes are delicious and you add some of the aioli you make and it is so tasty. Probably my favorite part. You do the cooking yourself but Chef Kate guided us from beginning to end. Happily answering all questions. She made everything so easy and instructed us the whole time.. After you take a class you get $10 off another class and 10% off a purchase in the store. He arrived on time and ready to get started sharpening. It took about 30 mins for a set of 7 knives of varying sizes. The final price was perfect and right in my price range. I was quoted 80$ for just 6 knives by another mobile service in the area which I thought was pretty darn steep. My knives came out beautifully and extremely sharp. Mobile Knife shop! And an excellent price too for an aging old knife I had been carrying around…read moresince my Navy days. I chipped it lifting off the lid of a paint can and M1rror Edge was helpful in coming to my place of work to fix it up! Only took about 10 mins. It's super sharp again like the day I bought it and while it is a 1/4 shorter the angle of the cutting edge is the same. I was just stupid and broke the tip. Won't make that mistake again.
