We had ten trees dead from the Christmas freeze two years ago. We got a response the next day from our query. They are prompt. They projected three to four weeks but were able to do the job in about a week from when we reached out. When they showed up they had an 80 foot cherry picker, full crew of men with safety equipment, a huge grinding/mulching machine and a couple of trucks to haul off the felled trees. We first used Quality Tree Surgery to remove many trees that were nearing the end of their life and to prune some very large trees that hung over our property line. We spoke with several companies, and selected Quality Tree Surgery because they were knowledgeable, had a competitive price, and had good reviews from our neighbors. They did excellent work. When we spoke with them during the job, they listened to what we wanted, explained what they were doing, and why they were doing it. They were very nice, cleaned up very well, were respectful of our neighbors' yards, and did the work in less time than they anticipated. Since then, we have used Quality Tree Surgery to aerate and overseed our yard, and to control aphids on a nearby hackberry (both are annual jobs). When we need to hire anyone to do work to our trees or yard going forward, I won't even bother getting other companies to quote the work. We just go straight to Quality Tree Surgery. I needed to have a large (15" trunk) dying, leaning cedar in my back yard taken down. It was actually two large trees coming from one trunk. It was leaning toward my neighbors' fence. Also another downed cedar and a tall leaning cedar. They got back to me very quickly. Jesse came out and reviewed everything and gave us a written estimate the next day. There was no sales pressure. Kaleb and his crew came within a couple of days of that and did the work. They showed up on time. They did a great job. Very professional and nice. Wore all the safety gear equipment. They even cleared off some brush and a smaller tree that had fallen at no additional charge. They had said they might be a little more expensive than some. I didn't think so. All of that work cost about $1,500. They were done in about three hours. They cleaned up afterward. We have woods with several cedars that are not looking great but not endangering anything. We'll call them in a year and have them take down a couple of large trees that are on their last legs. We have to budget it out. I feel very comfortable recommending them and will use them again in the future. I think they started out in the 1990s and gradually built their business by word of mouth. From start to finish,the Quality Tree team were excellent. They were on time, and ultimate professionals. The team was always willing to talk to me when I was asking to many questions :). I have worked as a customer service trainer and was surprised at how well they treated me in the process. of course, they drew attention to the neighbors and they all said they were impressed with the staff. It is always the little things that separate the best, I saw multiple times that they would stop as people walked by. Built my house in 2013. Have a large established tree, and several trees planted at construction from landscaper. The large older tree had branches that were constantly breaking and dropping during storms. I got quotes from four companies. Mark was super helpful to explain the differences and help me decide what was needed for each tree. Trimming was scheduled, they showed up on time, and did a great job. Mark even called to check that the work was to my satisfaction. I'd highly recommend them for big and smaller jobs. Also... they do landscaping and grass treatments. Some years ago we had Quality Tree Surgery remove a tree in our front yard - not a hard assignment, but they did a great job. We just had a second tree removed by these guys in a much tougher spot: back yard next to a fence with a narrow gate entry. Quality Tree Surgery showed up on time (7:00 AM) with a battery of high-tech gear and easily removed the very large tree in about 3 hours. Later that day the stump grinder showed up and by 1:00 PM the tree was totally gone. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Everyone was easy going, friendly and totally professional. I was scouting and shopping for tree service after the March 3, 2023 wind storm. A big Bradford Pear tree in our back yard split. Half of it hangs over our roof, and the other half blew down. I called 8 places. Quality Tree and one other company came out within a week to give me an estimate. Quality Tree had the better plan for the work, and the lower price. I had these guys trim a couple trees and clear and overgrown patch of the yard. The estimator was clear and great to talk to, but he said the trees that needed trimmer were ash, and they're walnuts - not the best confidence builder. I'm happy with the trees and the area of the yard was cleared, but it's growing back very very fast, so I'm not sure if they forgot the weed treatment, it just wasn't strong enough, or if these weeds are just that persistent. I was really pleased when they came back with the bill and said the job took less time than they estimated, so I didn't have to pay the full estimate! read more

We use their plant health service as well as their tree trimming services etc. rule is so knowledge about types of trees and diseases etc and makes great suggestions for what to plant and how to maintain them. over the years we have had several trees fall right before events and they have sent out the Calvary to save us. Quality Tree Surgery is the finest service companies I have delt with in many years.  They are truly a group of professional people from the office workers to the tree service individual employees.  First, when I called, they actually answered the phone.  This seems like a simple act but over the years I have found that with other service companies that is this not the norm.  They came out on time when they stated they would show up.  I was going to get additional bids but after my initial contact I elected to go with Quality Tree Surgery after meeting with Joe.  They gave me a fair quote for a very large tree that had to be removed in a difficult location in my yard.  They were shocking fast, and the cleanup was as if the tree and its debris was never there. Made my day! I have some trees in my front yard that I was worried about in high winds (tall branches, etc). Mark Smith came by to take a look. His professional opinion was that I really didn't need to do anything with the trees. He said they looked healthy and suggested I just leave 'em alone. Even tho', in this case, he didn't do any work (because he felt we didn't need it), I would have no reservations contacting his company in the future. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Quality Tree Surgery. In my opinion they went way beyond our expectations! Our tree looks amazing and the foreman, Don Patterson, actually listened to what we were wanting and then did it! I was actually doing yard work and pruning some of my own bushes while they were busy working and the other young man, Kaleb Ragan ( I asked him his name) came over and picked up my trimmings and hauled them away. I couldn't believe it! It was awesome. The fact that he even noticed I was trimming bushes and then went out of his way to come pick up the trimmings. In this day and age, it is hard to find anyone that is willing to do more than is expected of them, so I am still a little in shock!
