    We had a large, modern sectional couch that needed alteration. We contacted Quality Upholstery and they were able to remove one of the arms of the couch (you'd never know it was there), and they also reinforced the love seat section with additional support to fix a sag. Celson (business owner) came to pick it up, and had the entire job done within a matter of days. Very happy with this investment.

    These guys do amazing work they did my headliner on my Yukon recently and not only was the craftsmanship great he had it done on time very pleased with service.

    These guys rock they did a magnificent job for me. I bought my mom a 2017 Ford Fusion it was a used car and everything was perfect then we saw a big rip in the headliner the replacement headliner was $1300 and would take 2 weeks to get in. I have to deliver the car to my mom over that next weekend so a good friend took me over to see Celson at Quality Upholstery. He took one look at it and said no problem we can re upholster it for you, we even have the right material in stock. I dropped it off at 8 am and got it back at 2:30 the same day looking just like new. With 30 years of skill and experience they are the go to shop for upholstery, both auto and home furnishings. oh and the price was on point too!.

A lot of thought went into what and where to buy. We are so thankful we chose this place! First off, David and Jesse are knowledgeable and professional, and it's obvious they take pride in what they do and have great concern and care for their customers. It's not just a job for them! Jesse delivered the couch himself 3 days after we bought it. He was efficient and careful, and did it all with smiles and professionalism. Through no fault of the store, however, the couch we bought had a manufacturer defect and so did the replacement that was first sent. It took us about a week and a half to finally get the couch we paid for. With the impact on us financially due to the amount we invested in it, of course we were more than concerned and worried. But, through the whole situation, David and Jesse were prompt to get answers for us and were on the phone frequently with the manufacturer on our behalf. David called us several times himself to update and reassure us. He had great concern for us, and wanted to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our purchase. You just don't get this kind of customer service from a big box store, and especially not from the likes of Amazon. I always wondered why this small shop on the corner of Seaward and Main has been there for what seems like forever. Now I know why! I highly recommend The Couch Potato, and David and Jesse for your furniture needs - trustworthy, friendly, professional, and caring service. We will come here again when the need arises.     I rarely write negative reviews, but after a year of dealing with this sofa, I feel other buyers…read moreshould know about my experience. From the beginning, the seat cushions have been much too soft and have never provided proper support. When I sit on the sofa, I sink deeply into the cushions instead of being supported. The lack of firmness causes my hips to drop, leaving my lower back unsupported. It has become so uncomfortable that I have gotten up with significant back pain, and on one occasion I was literally doubled over after sitting on it. The company has replaced the foam cushions twice, but neither replacement solved the problem. The sofa continues to sag, and the seating support has never been what I expected from a new piece of furniture. The most disappointing part has been the lack of a permanent resolution. After multiple repair attempts, I expected someone to take ownership of the problem, thoroughly inspect the sofa, determine whether the issue is the foam, the cushion construction, or the support system underneath, and make it right. Instead, I still have a sofa that is uncomfortable to sit on despite repeated attempts to fix it. A sofa is a major investment, and I expected it to provide lasting comfort and support. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. They have not stepped up or reached out to me to resolve this matter. I see that David L, the owner, stated 'glad to make your shopping experience pleasant. We look forward to seeing you again.' Well, my shopping experience wasn't pleasant and they made no attempt to rectify the problem and they definitely won't see me again.
