And the work they do is very high quality. Jon and his crew are great at keeping costs within budget and are great at finding solutions to the problem that come up with any project. The first one we worked with them on was a bathroom remodel that we started with a different contractor, but had to change up about a quarter of the way in. Jon rescued the remodel and delivered on our vision within timeline and on budget. They even went back and fixed some issues created by the old contractor without adding to our bid. They also did two amazing custom solutions to accommodate our special requests. And the whole project turned out amazing. The second project was a custom metal fence. The Current Trend crew again did excellent work making the vision we had come through, even though it all had to be fabricated and built from scratch. The hulking shadow of the HomeGoods/TJ Maxx almost makes it invisible, if not for the shimmering flickers from the fireplaces inside. Great service! The staffer showed me the different types, gave recommendations on the kind I was looking for (actual wood-burners), and, in a shocking departure from the regular salesperson tactic, gave me pretty specific price ranges for my needs. She also gave me space to look around and didn't lurk over my shoulder. A+ work here. I describe Croft as an "Oh I like that one! Oh I like that one!" sort of place. You see a killer modern style that you like ... then a red-brick one that you like ... then a rounded frame one that you like ... and so on. You'll come out brimming with ideas. Still, Croft is a "full service" kind of place. They can help with material selection, work from your design, and give you professional design idea. Cast stone, brick, tile & rock, and other types of mantles, as well as the cabinets or shelves above (or to the sides). So, essentially, if you see something you like, you can get it, but if you don't, they can make it. You'll find the big brands of fireplaces: Valor (expert in radiant gas); Real Fyre (vented log sets); Fireplace Xtrodoinair (big on high-grade steel and glass, as well "Green" fireplaces); DaVinci (bringing sizes from small to the OMG of 21 ... you heard that right, 21 FEET); and Dimplex (very modern in their designs). I went in looking for a fireplace and may up getting even more! Croft has a great selection of burning stoves, including Lopi's large selection of wood- and pellet-burning stoves. If you want one of those brass burner fire pits, Warming Trends brags that theirs will give you "Twice the Flame, (but use) Half the Gas." It's a large, narrow store, with fireplace examples lining the walls all the way down. They must have 20-30 fireplaces in this joint. I realized it had been three years since I moved into my house and I'd never had my light colored…read morecarpets professionally cleaned (It's ok if you think I'm gross) so I had Tyler come out and clean my living room even though I was pretty sure the carpet was a lost cause and just should have been removed. I do know Tyler personally (I need to let you know that because, you know, fairness and full disclosure and such) so he had been in my home and seen my carpet prior to cleaning it and he said that he thought he could make it look and feel new again. While I had my doubts, I made an appointment. He showed up with his van of tricks and explained the whole process to me as he was getting set up. I have two big dogs, so because of that, in addition to cleaning the carpet he was going to apply a disinfecting treatment as well. It made me happy to know that it's a chemical free process and that all of the cleaning solutions are citrus based. Every single little spot is gone from my carpet. Tyler's work is nothing short of some kind of carpet cleaning voodoo ninja magic and I'm so glad I let him have a shot at cleaning it. It looks, feels, and smells at least as good as new. It actually probably smells better than new because there's not really "that new carpet smell" but if there was, I would hope it smelled fruity and citrussyv and clean, because it's fantastic. Tyler is wonderful and if you need carpet or upholstery cleaning, he should for sure be your first choice. I'm pretty excited to have him back to clean my sofa. Like. Soon.

The demo and waterline tile are done and it hasn't been too bad except they won't return our emails, they won't schedule the last phase and a project that was 5 weeks is who knows how long because they won't get us on the plaster schedule and right now we are told it is 2 months out and no way to schedule us for some reason. Weeks of asking to get scheduled with no response. I have included the owner in our communication as well so this isn't just about one person, this is clearly a company thing. I highly encourage you to look elsewhere. Add to the fact that we don't have a pool they have left equipment etc here so I'm sitting on my lanai in a robe and at 6:45am my dog barks like crazy and it is the employees wanting to pick some stuff up. Has happened two of the last three days. The list goes on with all the frustrating things happening with this company. Did I mention food has been left out including a chicken bone we only discovered because our dog was trying to eat it?

We entered into a contract with SCV Pools in October 2022. Shortly thereafter, we were told the…read morecompany had been sold to a new owner. The company changed names to Hawaii Pools. There have been many safety and quality issues associated with the pool and the work is not complete. These issues include, but are not limited to: 1. Lack of responsiveness to many issues for months, unclear chain of command, conflicting information despite repeated phone calls, emails, and texts. We were told by the new project manager Keith that he doesn't check his voicemails. 2. Repeated delays in getting the work done. Workers were frequently pulled off the job to work on other jobs. No schedule was provided despite multiple requests, of when workers would be on site. Workers left their equipment on site, and on more than one occasion came at 6:00AM to get their equipment to bring to another site. 3. Quality issues associate with the work, including drainage problems, no autofill installation as of yet, issues with the spa, workers asking the homeowners how the drainage should be done, frequent lack of supervisors on job site. 4. Safety issues including sidewalk cut and left open, a delay in ordering and lack of fencing to date. 5. Messy and unprofessional work site including leaving bottles and cans at site, lack of provision of toilet facilities from SCV to workers resulting in neighbors complaints about workers peeing openly on the property. When brought to the SCV's attention, they finally provided a portapotty. 6. Incorrect billing on more than one occasion.
