Horrible! The Worst Experience! My carpets looked dirtier after Quall Chemdry's service. I thought maybe it was because the carpet was still wet. after 4 days the carpets finally dried and there were spots everywhere. I realized it was because Qualls team pulled their hoses through my landscaping and onto my carpets. After talking to John (the owner), he reluctantly sent out a new guy to redo my carpets. This time, all the hoses were dragged around, hitting all my newly painted molding and damaging both the paint and moulding. I ask Qualls guy WHY they didn't use corner protectors to protect the paint and mouldings and he told me John (the owner) didn't provide them. This was a disaster from start to finish! Eli the carpet cleaner was very professional and cleaned the carpets. I had to have them come back a second time to get rid of the cat pee smell, and lets hope this time the pee smell goes away. Eli cleaned the carpets and resprayed for the urine cleaning. Prompt efficient service and very responsive. Pretty overpriced for only 2 rooms and 2 stairs of 12 stairs I paid almost 500.00. Did not recieve any additional disconuts, but the expensive part was the urine odor removal cleaner. read more

My parents have a rental property that needed to get the carpets cleaned in anticipation of a new tenant coming in. While I was in town, I used the power of Yelp to get a quote at around 8am, and received a prompt response within about 10 minutes and was provided a number to call to set-up an appointment. I spoke with John and he was able to accommodate an appointment within the hour. Ryan came out on-time and applied a pre-treat on one of the rooms and then returned in the afternoon to finish the cleaning. It was painless and easy and well-worth the money spent. OK, first the guy(Ryan) shows up without a mask, never offers to wear a mask, and even used my bathroom without washing his hands. This was on October 29, 2020. Next we will get down to the carpet cleaning. I had 1 living room, 1 staircase, 1 hallway, and 2 bedrooms. I told him to redo the living room as it looked like it just got water with no cleaner. After watching him bumble around trying to do the stairs and the rest, when he said he was done, I was tired of arguing. I won't go back. I have done much better with a rug doctor and 45 minutes. Also, the carpet was still wet the next morning, and we had a fan on the carpet and the thermostat set to 72F. So after everything I will need to redo the carpets and I had to scrub the bathroom he used. Yup, he left a duece in my bathroom and that would sum up his service and cleaning skills. read more

I have been very happy with Qualls Chem-Dry carpet cleaning. I have had them come out twice to clean my house. We had guests with pets staying at our house and way to many accidents happened in my basement. The smell was really strong, even if I did spot treatments myself it didn't work! I need a professional. I called Qualls Chem-Dry to come back out again. I paid the extra money for urine treatment and bacteria treatment which was well worth it. If you are going to have your carpets cleaned do them the right way. It would be like cleaning your toilet with a hot towel and no chemicals, going.....ya.... that is clean. No! do it right. So we did. It has been great. The carpets are like new. They smell fresh and clean. I would recommend you calling Qualls Chem-Dry if you are in need of having your carpets cleaned. They do a great job, I think the price is priced just right. Too high and you are being ripped off, too low and you are not getting quality work, this is priced just right for the cleaning. John spent a good amount of time treating my carpets, he was on time, I got scheduled really quick, and now I have clean carpets that I don't want to replace. This is the place to call. Don't put it off and DO NOT use a red carpet self cleaning system! It is a NO! Just have the professionals do it. You won't regret it. Think about it, your carpet is an extension of your bed or couch. You wouldn't take your hose to your carpet to clean it, so use the right product to yield the best results and keep it clean so you feel good about all those little people who lay on your floor! I'm sadly overdue in writing this review for the spectacular service and job well done I had with my recent interaction with John. My husband and I recently bought out first home, so we we're wanting to get the carpets cleaned. Since this is our first home, we haven't had any prior experience with hiring people for these types of services before. Being a woman, I'm usually a bit hesitant from the beginning, as I'm often talked down to, belittled, or treated like I'm unaware and incompetent when I have services like these done (or at the dealership, especially!). I was pleasantly surprised and felt very comfortable with John. He maintained a complete level of professionalism, while establishing a natural rapport with me, and I had a pleasant conversation with him as well. From the beginning when I called to schedule the consultation (I spoke with John then too), he was very willing to work with my difficult schedule and to accommodate my need for a next day appointment , as well. I was provided with a 3 hour window for arrival; which was adhered to and he even arrived on the earlier side of it. After going through and getting measurements, we discussed the different cleaning options and pricing, which we're a bit lower than I expexted. I watched some of his work and he took his time in making sure he did a thorough job. I had an appointment that I had to run to, so I left him working while I did that. I felt comfortable leaving him in my home alone during that time. When I returned home, he was just finishing up. He asked me to do a walk through to make sure I was satisfied with his work, which I was. In total, he spent over 2 hours cleaning the carpets and they weren't even very dirty. My experience with this company was phenomenal! The guy that came out was very friendly and professional. I had a few pet stains that he was able to completely remove and the carpet dried fairly quickly. We have a back bedroom that I told them not to clean because I currently had a few things stored there and when I got home I couldn't believe the difference between the hallway and the bedroom. The rest of our carpet was so clean! I will definitely have them come back for the second bedroom and I will be calling them twice a year for regular carpet maintenance. Quall Chem came highly recommended by my mother in law. After our two dogs got into some water based ink and made artwork on our stairs I was in immediate need of some help in trying to help clean the mess. I spoke to John who was able to come the same day but schedules didn't work out with someone being home. He was able to come first thing the next morning and worked extremely hard to get the ink out of our stairs. Things started great, the technician texted when he was about 30 minutes away. I was frustrated that the actual price was significantly higher then my online estimate but proceeded with the cleaning anyway. I alerted the technician that we have security cameras in our home. After a while I could tell based on the sound that he hadn't moved in a while so I checked the cameras, he was SITTING on my couch on his phone. After about 10 minutes I finally went downstairs to make sure he was okay. He then informed he was just checking his texts. Total time he spent about 30 minutes on his phone. He finally finished cleaning my carpets, however when I went to bed 12 hours later my carpets were still SOAKING wet, today is the next day and because the carpet was wet for so long they smell musty, hopefully that smell will go away! read more

I had a horrible experience with this company. They attempted to clean my kitchen tile in my home, but were unable to do so adaquately. Instead of refunding me my money or offering some kind of discount, the owner John claimed that his tile cleaning can't get out spots in the grout, and that that is not his fault. He does not stand by his craft, and you will get stuck paying top dollar for something much less than satisfactory. We had Qualls Chem Dry do both ours and my mother in laws carpets. This is the best they have looked in years! We have had our carpets steam cleaned in the past and they have told us our carpets are just too worn and wont come clean. My mother in Law had a lot of pet stains and even though it took a lot of cleaner and was expensive, I was really surprised it came out looking great and the smell is gone! My experience with this company started out great. They were able to get carpet and tile cleaned the same day I called. Unfortunately, they failed to get the tile cleaned like they claimed they would be able to. This is where everything went really bad. Suddenly I was being told that the tile had stains on it and that it wouldn't come out no matter what they did, which directly contradicts their claims of being able to clean the tile. But payment was demanded with a threat of being sued if no payment was received. The owner was very unprofessional to the point of being a bully. I reluctantly agreed to allow them back to try again at cleaning the tile. But they were sure to inform me that they couldn't do what I was supposed to pay them to do. Again, they failed at getting the tile cleaned. Not once was even a discount offered. This company does not take responsibility for their results, instead they blame the customer for their failure. I left a few online messages for other companies and this was the first company to call me back. I explained that my twins had spilled tempera paint all over my carpet and that there was a big green stain. They told me paint was not easy to get out and that we needed to get on it asap. They did exactly that. They arranged their schedule to see me today. I was at work, but my husband was home when they were working. I came home as the tech was cleaning up and asked if they were able to get it out. He said mostly, and that I would be the only one who would ever notice it. As I walked in to see it, my carpet was still green. I was disappointed but didn't know if it would even be possible for them to get out the paint stain. So we paid the fee and went on our way. I forgot to mention the rest of the carpet was cleaned, too. Once our carpet started drying, I noticed it was still matted in certain spots and didn't seem very clean. The customer service was excellent, but the cleaning was most certainly not up to what I would expect. I would not use this company in the future. I forgot to mention, a coworker told me a trick that she uses to remove stains. I tried the trick and removed significantly more paint than this company. Now the stain is more likely only noticeable to those who know where it is. So for $4.00 and about 30 minutes work, I removed more paint than Qualls Chem Dry did and they charged me $89. read more

While the carpet cleaning was fine, the technician arrived an hour AFTER the three hour window I was quoted. I was told I could expect someone between 1 and 3 pm. I called at 1 pm and asked for an ETA. At the time, I was told by the owner that he would text the technician and have them contact me. At 2:49 pm I got a call saying he was on his way. At 3:21, I got another call stating that GPS was not pulling up my address. Another call at 3:45 saying they still couldn't find it. At that point, my spouse got on the phone gave turn by turn directions. Now, I am not an unreasonable person. Sometimes people get busy and job take longer than expected. Some times people get lost. It happens. However, when the technician finally arrived, there was no acknowledgement that he late, no apology, no discount offered, nothing. Half our Saturday gone and not even an "I'm sorry". That was a bit of shock, but the bigger shock was when I sent this feedback to the owner, I heard NOTHING back. Not they way to create repeat business. We have had Qualls Chem-Dry clean our carpets in the past. The carpet cleaning was fine, but our carpet was left saturated. I could understand some of the high traffic areas needing a little more spray on it, but not the whole house! The technician said to open some windows and the carpet should be dry within a few hours. In the past when we have had this company come the carpet was dried within a few hours and everything was great. However, 12 hours later, the carpet was still very wet. I called the company letting them know I was not happy about how wet the carpet was and how it had not dried. I was told it was because it was a cooler day and it takes longer to dry and to turn on fans. 24 hours later the carpet was still wet and we are unable to vacuum and put furniture back in place. Here it is a day and a half later (36 hours) and the carpet is still wet. One of their main selling points is fast drying time.....I don't think so!! Obviously they do not stand behind and guarantee their work as they did nothing to help make the situation right. I am not one to complain, but when you are sold on a certain service and pay over $200, it should be delivered. read more
