Hands down... My favorite restaurant in south Florida. Great beer menu, better food, and Kim, Kelly, and Hewitt bring the fun!

Recently my family and I had our weekly family get together on Sunday at the Davie Quarterdeck. We were so surprised by the quality of the food and just as important the friendly staff especially the store manager Chuck. He made sure that we were taken care of and checked on us throughout our stay making sure everything was perfect. The family agreed to start doing out Sunday meeting at the Davie Quartedeck especially when Chuck suggested to get the loyalty points scored it was a no brainer for us great service and great food. read more

Came with a friend. Received bad service from the start. Took 15 minutes to bring back water. When the food came my salad wasn't chopped as advertised, which was fine I just did it myself, but it was also missing the bacon. The waiter never came back to check up on us after receiving our food for 15 minutes. Working in the industry I know you're supposed to check up after 2 bites or 2 minutes. When he did come, I told him there wasn't bacon he said I'll get you some. No apology or anything. I didn't even mention it wasn't chopped because I figured nothing would come of that. After telling me he'd get it, he went to take the order for a big table that just got there instead of fixing a meal that had already been out for 15 minutes. At the end when I asked for the check, he took our plates to the back and i figured he'd come back to check us out. He came back out after and walked past us to talk to the host for a few minutes and clean other tables instead of checking us out on the tablet. No urgency or care with this waiter. Bad experience and the staff (that helped us) doesn't seem to care at all. read more

This location has been a new favorite of mine. I almost ALWAYS sit on the patio. The ambiance is fantastic, their lounge seating is super comfy and their 2 big screens don't hurt either.. Hanna is my fave server! She's always professional, super friendly and always has beautiful nails and accessories! ;p - I can be a bit particular with my food and/or drink and she takes my orders with no trouble and they come out perfectly every time! First time experience at this restaurant last Friday night, and it was more than expected. The scene was great for a Friday evening. We were seated immediately. The waitress was amazing. I wish I remembered her name :-( The best part was when Chuck (I think he was a manager or something) found out that my husband and I had just got married the day before, and he bought us a bottle of champagne. It was a great gesture. We are so grateful. Wonderful experience overall. The food and drinks were amazing. We live right up the street too. We will be coming here more often. I can't believe I have never been to Quarterdeck before! I was impressed with the service out here and the team being super attentive to our large party (about 10 of us) having lunch during the afternoon. What I also like about this location is there is so much seating availability everywhere! Inside! Outside! Bar! Everywhere! Plenty of beer and drink selections served ice cold which is awesome! As for food I tried the Chicken Philly which can be ordered with fries, potatoes, or mac and cheese. Solid Chicken Philly, reminds me a bit of Flanigan's but it's not as large... just the right size I would say so you won't feel so full after! I'll definitely have to come back soon to try more of their menu items, and have some more cold ones. Cheers! read more

Place had a great atmosphere and vibe. Bar had fantastic specials and the bartender Maddy was so attentive, nice, and helpful! Came here for a Late night dinner because the menu looked super appealing and thought it was worth checking out. Arrived around 10:30pm and we had to wait for 15 minutes at the door as there was no host/hostess to greet and sit us down. The restaurant was not busy and there was plenty of available seating. When we finally sat ourselves down, we did not have a waiter for another 10 minutes. Our waiter was extremely friendly but all the other members of staff were not so friendly and I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone else or coming back here. read more

Davie quarterdeck food and staff are excellent. Even though they raised their prices, you have to consider that all restaurants did as well. However, the bathrooms are gross. I don't think the ladies room gets cleaned for days. The same paper towel dispenser hasn't worked in months. My husband says the men's room smells like a litter box. The AC just doesn't cool. It always feels humid in there. The carpeting in the dining room is filthy. The ceiling above the bar is covered in mold. It's a shame that a nice neighborhood restaurant is not being taken care of. read more

Typical chain restaurant, wasn't impressed with my crunchy tuna roll. One of my buddies got the clams and said they were pretty good. Staff was attentive and helpful. I appreciate the owner/manager responding to my post. Again shows that the staff does a great job however won't change my opinion of the meal. I will eat there again when I'm in the area. read more

Wasn't sure about giving this place another try but I wanted to sit outside with my dog and watch the game. I was here years ago and didn't have the best experience but friends said it's changed for the better. The patio was renovated with couches. Service was excellent and you can't beat $3 beers all day long and half price happy hour apps. You gotta try the mac and cheese balls. read more

Great service. Food came out in a timely manner. Variation in menu. We had the wings and burger and both were delicious. Not crowded. 4 people on 7pm on Friday and no wait. Drinks were yum- ordered grapefruit crush and dark and stormy- both were top notch. Our waitress lauren was super personable. Can't say much about the American side of the menu, but the sushi/sashimi/bento box side of the menu is very good. The service wasn't great but nothing to complain about. Not sure why this has two stars...the sushi is good. I guess it must be the people who order the burgers.. read more

There is a reason my wife and I come here once in a blue moon and that is the horrendous service. While at the restaurant for an hour and a half, our server Brandlin, visited us four times. Once for our drinks, once to take our order, once to refill my wife's beer and the fourth time we are still waiting on. She has walked by the table at least 5 times to help other tables and not once did she ask about our food. I'm sure it didn't help that her friends were at a table 10 feet away. I have been going to QD on University Drive for years. Of late they have started showing a disgusting continuous loop of scantily clad pubescent and underweight females. The camera focuses on the female buttocks, crotch and breast area. I can't believe management considers this an appropriate atmosphere for family dining. It is offensive to women especially when eating with young children and should be changed. It is grooming society to accept blatant sexualization of females. Someone else mentioned this to me recently and I was compelled to post. The staff is nice, food there is not particularly good. They got rid of loaded nachos and patty melts. I have never Yelp!'d a Quarterdeck as I've been to all of them through many years. Unfortunately, I had to today to Yelp! about this one and I'm no surprised to see this location had the worst rating of all of them. We arrived, sat down at the bar (which had 3 people) and watched 3 employees behind the bar talk to each other and play with their phone .. full well, knowing we were there for 10 mins. It has been a while. In the mood for wings and boy did Quarterdeck Davie Deliver. Tried many different restaurants in the last month or two. But I truly feel Quarterdeck has the best wings in South Florida. Big, moist, not dry and tasty. Tried Flanigan's a few weeks ago, smaller, dried out and cooked way too far ahead. I visited the location off university in Davie. For being "bar food" it was delicious! I had the gumbo pasta and I loved it. In addition I enjoy a good dirty martini, most bars use cheap olives (the olive juice makes it breaks a dirty martini) NOT them! All around a great experience. This is now my third time coming into Quarterdeck during the evening. This time for a Freedom Tower beer and to watch some playoff hockey. We had Bari as our server again and like the previous two visits she was great. Very attentive and was able to get the game put on quickly. My girlfriend had the rainbow sushi roll and enjoyed it. Haven't had too many good things to say about South Florida food and service in other reviews. This place, however, is pretty damn good quality with really good service. Most of the other negative review seems to concentrate on very singular issues or specific servers. My 5 stars are based and several visits, ordering different menu items, from different servers and/or bartenders. Sure, i've had a server with an unacceptable attitude, another time i was charged for a double when i only had a single. I've only been here a few times, primarily for football games, and I sat a the bar each time. Based on that particular experience, it's a decent sports bar. Not overbearing with noise and drunks like some other sports bar, they do a good job making the experience fun and enjoyable. So I stopped here one weekday to grab a bite. Wasn't expecting much but boy was I in for a surprise. I received a sushi menu and I was a little skeptical at first but I figured what the heck and decided to go for the sushi. OMG, I was not expecting this but the salmon sashimi melted in my mouth. Dipped in spicy mayo sauce, the 9 piece was not enough and I had to get some more. I ordered another roll which I can't seem to remember right now but it was good as well. For dessert I tried the key lime cheesecake and it was heavenly. Service was good, unfortunately WiFi was not working. Would def come back here again. read more

I've been eating at Quarterdeck's all over Broward county for probably as long as they have been in business. This one happens to be close to home. I don't know when it happened, but when did the equivalent of a sports bar start reading their press reviews and become a 5-start fine dining establishment? Their (sports bar food) pricing has started really getting out of hand ... $21 for fried shrimp and sweet potato fries, $19 for Lemon Pepper chicken, $16 for chicken tacos, $10 for a glass of Kendall Jackson (Yes, I KNOW there's a mark up but you can purchase an entire bottle for that or less), etc. BTW, we had their lobster taco "special", which was written on a blackboard awhile back ... should have asked for pricing, as it was close to $40 each! I'm not kidding. My daughter and I had 2 orders of lobster tacos, 1 iced tea, and 1 glass of wine, and our bill was over $90! We could have gone somewhere pretty nice for that! Ok, so, I recognize pricing is outrageous ... but their food is generally decent, so, I occasionally bite the bullet for convenience sake, and against my best judgement, go anyway. Last Friday we decided to take advantage of their outdoor seating for a quick bowl of soup on a cooler evening. We walked into the hostess stand, and it was 2-deep, standing room only at the bar, and not a mask in sight (except for staff)! We were appalled, nearly turned around and walked out! OMG, I didn't even know that was allowed?! Thankfully, we didn't have to wait around, and made a beeline to the outdoor seating. The waitress did wear a mask and tables were fairly distanced ... but they put bottles of hot sauce on the table (that clearly had been touched by God knows who, how many times) instead of pouring it into little individual bowls or containers like Flannigan's does (we used our napkins to wrap around it so our hands would not have to touch where others had touched). We're pretty careful since we have elderly parents and family members with cancer, and don't think they are taking nearly enough precautions with COVID. We might consider take out for (an overpriced) burger or something, but not for dining-in until this COVID thing is under control or they appear safer. read more

Lived in South FL for a few years now and I have never tried it. Me and my BF stopped by here after missing our turn to eat at a different restaurant. As soon as we started walking up to the restaurant we heard a live acoustic singer. He was covering songs , it was very chill. The theme was nautical, I was getting major Margaritaville vibes. The service was good our server was very attentive, so glad I asked our server if they had any drink specials because they sure did! It was a new drink a new mojotio. Also while asking about the different tempura she recommended a sushi roll, the kamikaze which is also not on the menu. It was all so delish! The drink was strong!! And the food was tasty, very much worth the $$. It is pricey, however i rather spend my money at a local business versus a chain with less than mediocre food. read more

Terrible Experience!!! If i was able to give a -1 one star I would have. Came in with several friends for a dinner as we havent seen each other in a very long time and thought quarter deck would be fun. Both my friends and I all agree that this experience was terrible, service was non existent, refills on sodas i had no drink for til after i finished my meal and requested one several times. The steak i ordered was all fat and no steak and our server just dropped off our food without ever checking on us afterwards and some of us were missing sides from our meals we never received. We will never eat at any quarter deck ever again. Please train your service staff to be attentive to customers and not disappear. You may privately contact me and I will provide the servers name. Went with my boyfriend and sister one night. If you're working in the service industry, you shouldn't be going around with such a shitty attitude. I work in the service industry and my day might not be going so well, but I still manage to put a smile on my face. I deal with rude and annoying customers all the time, but I still am smiling. My boyfriend, sister, and I were in no way being rude or annoying and greeted our waitress with a smile. But we ended up being totally put off by her negative attitude. Also, we ordered burgers and it took a very long time for them to come out. We were super hungry and our stomachs growled louder with every passing minute. Quarterdeck is an average bar/diner type place. Food is good but not mind blowingly amazing. They are slow when packed and fast when not. Seating is available by the bar, at tables inside, or these cool swing like benches outside (suggested).
