When my friend chose sunglasses to buy, I was asked if I wanted to also get one for 40% off. Only then I voiced out that I need help in finding cat eye styles and if she can help me look for options to choose from. The store wasn't even that big and she could've given me at least couple or few to show she's willing to help, but she just answered that it's almost time for her to go home which denotes she wouldn't be that helpful. The shop lacks good customer service and just probably waiting for people to buy. Because we weren't happy with the service, we ended up not buying anything. No, thanks. Not to mention we were there 25-30 minutes before they close.

Someone sat on my glasses I bought in Japan from Jins and I was crushed. It was my only pair of…read moreprogressive lenses and my absolutely favorite. The temple hinge had cracked off the main frame part and I took my glasses to Costco optical, LensCrafters, Jins in California and they all couldn't fix it. Jins USA couldn't even fit my old lenses in any of their frames because Jins USA is completely different stock from Jins Japan. I took my broken frame to Paris Miki Ala Moana because they sell Japan frames but they were not helpful and couldn't help me. I know I'm not the first person this has happened to so I was disappointed I couldn't find anyone to fix my glasses. I just include this part so you can avoid all the trouble and just come here if you have a similar problem. SEOUL OPTICAL is on the 12th floor in the Pacific Guardian Tower, which is next to Walmart across Makaloa. They open at 9am. It's not facing the street or in a shopping center so you have to go looking for it. Kenny is the optician and speaks both Korean and English and was extremely helpful and told me he can't fix the broken temple hinge but he did have some frames that would fit my lenses! He immediately showed me a few frames and I was out of there in 10 minutes with my new glasses. My new frames are made in Korea, they are even lighter than my Japan frames, and the nosepads are not the clear silicone ones that turn green after a while, they are silver and so cool. My frames were $150 which is a great price compared to Costco/Lenscrafters and because they are made in Asia, fit my face better than any American brand frames I own. Even if you're not Asian, I highly recommend this place for your optical needs, he does carry US name brand frames too, but the frames made in Asia are far superior and cheaper than a trip to Japan/Korea.

Popped into Goldeneye, lady was super quick and helpful -- took her about a minute to find the right size nosepad and pop it in. Generic nosepad, but identical to the branded. Very much appreciate the "emergency roadside" service getting me on my way. 5/5, highly recommend!

Thankfully, they were able to receive my prescription by fax and make my glasses within 1 hour, even with a fully booked schedule and me being a walk-in.
