I recall this location being a different Vietnamese Restaurant in the past and it was nothing more than OK. Now that I have tried Que Huong as they have been here for quite a while now, I realize this hole in the wall is one of my favorite places to get Pho at 9am. Upon walking in you'll quickly realize this is just another small Vietnamese Restaurant run by a family who simply just wants to serve their generational Pho. In a small restaurant like this, that's the vibe I'd want when eating Pho. But really this place isn't that small, there's a few tables up front but plenty of additional seating in an upstairs area. Per usual, I get the Beef Pho that has everything, the Pho Dac Biet. Immediately and in the best way possible, you can feel/taste the bone marrow in this broth more than usual in my opinion. It reminded me of when I ask for extra bone marrow oil in certain Pho restaurants but here at Que Huong, the damage was already done. It was amazing. The quality of the meat here is also outstanding. Nothing is better than getting thick cut pieces of gelatinous brisket that melts in your mouth in addition to the fatty broth. The service was quick, both times I have been here was in and out but never rushed. Everyone here is super friendly and simply grateful that you showed up today to try their wonderful Pho. Street parking out front and there's an open lot across the street as well. If you stalk my check-ins you'll see I frequent many Vietnamese Restaurants as I'm always seeking a bowl of Pho on my days off. We stopped here on our way back from our NH vacation looking for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was easy to find and street parking was not an issue. We got there a little bit before lunch time and were the only customers seated, but the tables quickly filled up. Staff were kind and welcoming. We ordered a few different things off the menu, including chicken wings, pho, beef banh mi, and a noodle dish. The food was delicious and came out piping hot. We also enjoyed that they had a lunch special. We will absolutely be making this stop again in the future - highly recommend checking it out! read more

It's not located in the best neighborhood but it's worth the venture! They have a small store front with several tables. I suspect that they get more take out business. We came for the pho and was very satisfied! The broth was perfectly balanced and the meats and noodles were all cooked to the right texture. 3 things about this place: 1. This is a new pho place that opened up in New Park Ave of West Hartford and decided to check this place out. People might doubt going inside the place because the building is old but the inside was fantastic. Inside was spacious and there were more tables towards the back. 2. Appetizers and #10 which was the rare beef and brisket pho were ordered. The pho portion was great and they give you good amount of beef. Veggies where you add to your pho were fresh as well. 3. Soup was bland for me today and noodles were slightly overcooked. Shrimp spring roll had pieces of shells attached to the shrimp which I had to remove them myself. The waitress told me the egg rolls were coming out when she brought my pho but ended up coming out once I finished eating. Also, one of the egg rolls was warm and soggy while the other roll was extremely hot. This tells me one of the egg roll was just sitting for awhile. Honestly, I was excited and wanted to give a great review but this is what I had experienced today. we started with the chicken wings, perfectly crispy with a yummy sweet sauce. for pho we both got chicken (weekend only special). i got regular and my partner got a large. we got ours with the shredded chicken topped with scallions and added sriracha. broth was rich and delicious. also got some sodas but they have boba tea as well ! our server was super friendly and even boxed up our leftovers for us. there is a main dining area with a beautiful fish tank and then a side room with more tables which is where we sat. 10/10 yum yum yum read more

I was looking for some Vietnamese for lunch, and came across Quê Hương on my phone's browser. The Parking -- Finding a parking spot across the street was easy at the time of day I visited. The Place -- It's a small establishment. Quaint, but also comforting with space to have a good sit-down meal. The Staff -- A very welcoming gentleman seated me, gave me a menu, and brought some water over rather quickly. He was very attentive and was warm and friendly, making the experience all the better. The Food -- I decided to order gỏi cuốn (shrimp spring roll) as an appetizer. Very tasty! The mint leaves were fresh, and the shrimp were plump For my main dish, I ordered phở tái (beef noodle soup with rice noodles) no cilantro, a cà phê sữa đã (Vietnamese ice coffee), and a little dish of sa tế (chili oil) on the side. I also asked for basil to added (on a side plate), and for the beansprouts to be steamed. Everything arrived piping hot. I tasted the broth. Excellent! I doctored it up a little with some basil, a squeeze of lime, and some nước mắm (fish sauce). Some Hoisin and Sriracha in a side dish, and I was ready. It was delicious! Will I return? Yes. Love this place, stop by for a bowl of soup on a cold Sunday My go to is Bún bò Huế which is a slightly spicy beef noolde soup. The meat is plentiful and tender. The broth is very aromatic and tasty Their Phở is also really great, bowls are large and fresh vegetables come with it and A big plus for me that's NO MSG you can tell as soon as your 1st taste the broth unlike any orther Phở place and avocado smoothy is soooo yummy not too sweet and rich fresh avocado Overall, I highly recommend this place. I wanted to get some pho on this cold day. I wanted to try the pho and also the fried spring rolls. I ordered from grub hub and my order was ready way before the time that was given to me on the app. I was only in there for literally 10 seconds and I came out smelling like the egg roll. It was good and fresh though. The fish sauce had a little kick to it. Glad I ordered an appetizer because I had to basically heat up the soup and I was hungry. The noodles and beef were cold. I know the raw beef would be but the soup was lukewarm. I was looking forward to just eating as soon as I got home. There was no option on grub hub to have it ready for eating. The pho was bland Summary: the packaging of the food was good, quick service, fried egg rolls were good. Pho needed some more flavor. Ordered through Uber today and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the Bun Bi Thit Nuong Cha Gio was. The first time I ever had Vietnamese food was while I was in college in Worcester 20 years ago (insert crying emoji here). We went to the same Vietnamese place every Thursday night. I got the same thing every Thursday - vermicelli noodles with chicken and lemongrass and 2 spring rolls. While this dish is made with pork instead of chicken - it was delicious and brought me right back to college. The little bean sprout, mint and cucumber salad was plentiful. Could have used a tad more meat, but it was lunchtime, and honestly, the serving was more than enough. It was delicious and everything I hoped for. Looking forward to ordering again!! read more

It was great! The place was bright and clean. When our food arrived it looked like it was prepared to be photographed. It was fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked.
