The atmosphere is pretty on-point for a mid-range Missouri Mexican joint - slightly run down but kept up to an extent. We sat in a booth and were served almost immediately by the same woman who seated us. She took care of us the entire time, she was brief but friendly. The food just wasn't good. It wasn't horrible, but the chips and salsa needed salt, and our entrees were *meh*. My Dad got the Carnitas, which sounded promising, but it was just a dry block of pork with fajita vegetables and tortillas. I just got a Bean Burrito and a Tamale ala carte. Both were fine, but I've had better at Taco Bell for a 1/3rd of the price. I also noticed the bathroom needs cleaned badly, there were gnats swarming the toilet. Overall - Atmosphere/Ambiance - 2.5/5 Service/Attentiveness - 3.75/5 Food and Drinks - 2/5 I wouldn't return but it's not the worst I've had.

I ordered the fish tacos, which came with three, tacos, and refried beans & rice. I also ordered a side of cactus strips/nopales/nopalitos to add to my tacos. I really liked the chipotle sauce that came with it. I visited with a large group and everyone was very happy with their menu choice. They have several sizes of margaritas.
