Very nice authentic Mexican themed restaurant. I went here for lunch looking for a well-rounded and inexpensive meal and they did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp Lunch Chimichanga along with a non-alcoholic pina colada daiquiri. I was excited about the Pina colada because not many places have blenders which is mind-boggling to me! The presentation of the drink was spectacular as it was topped with whipped cream that I did not expect! The chimichanga dish was excellent and exceeded all my expectations. The only area for improvement would be the chips and salsa. The chips themselves had a bland cardboard taste to them and the salsa was thin and not very flavorful. Considering that I didn't go there for the salsa it wasn't a big deal for me. Overall I think this was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at (4.8/5) and they have been added to my favorites list. read more

It's a lot of fun here! Highly recommend eating outside. Very nice patio! We met friends here and had an enjoyable evening. The food was delicious. Portions are large so come hungry. I'd give the food a 4-star because it's pretty yummy and I do love their daily specials... but the service is just killing this place. Be prepared to sit and wait an incredibly long time before someone... anyone... stops to get your drinks. Just know you'll have to flag someone down to get anything. Was ok. It probably helps to speak Spanish. We ordered two beers. They failed to get that right but we are pretty easy so it was ok. But they offered no discount or free beer so I hold that against them. Passive aggressive? Yep. I have my flaws. Food was ok. Got seated right away, received the complimentary salsa & chips, nothing special jarred salsa with bagged chips. Ordered 2 chilie rellanos with a side of refried beans. The poblano chiles were over stuffed with mozzarella cheese and wrapped in a heavy flour laden egg batter, not the best ones I have eaten. Beans were bland. I was one of about 3 people here and had the Carnitas for lunch. I got my food in about 7 minutes after ordering. I know it takes longer than that to throughly cook pork. We ordered 6 of the Tuesday night $1.99 special margaritas last night... we specifically said "the special" and were charged full price $6.25, for 7 margaritas.
