Was here from out of town and I was genuinely excited to try Agave Seasons after seeing their website. Atmosphere and service was good! It is in the corner of a shopping center but has an outdoor patio, large bar and beautiful interior decorations. I will say the drinks were great! Honestly, I debated on my review because I didn't speak up at the restaurant. I ordered the agave osobuco and the meat was barely warm and the potato was so cold. I couldn't enjoy it because I just kept thinking so is this frozen? Can't be fresh and be cold like this. At this point, my husband's eating his food and he's half way done by the time someone asked us how it was. I just didn't care to sit there and wait for a new plate as I was over it.

The food is sub-par. Great staff, terrible food. The risotto was so greasy with butter grease sitting on top of it. The filet is not an actual filet it is overcooked meat bites. Again, the staff was amazing! Beautiful restaurant but, food is no bueno.

This is the $33 plate they served me.

Absolutely horrible experience. We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and were seated 40 minutes late. The hostess told us we could wait at the bar, but the bar was only serving water. We sat there anyway, managed to get a drink, and when we were finally seated, they put us outside in a cold corner while half the restaurant was empty. When we asked to be moved inside, they acted like it was a major inconvenience. After we were seated, I placed my order and asked for a couple of simple changes: salmon with butter instead of the aïoli sauce, and potatoes (which they offer as a side with other dishes) instead of vegetables. I even offered to pay extra. The server told me it would take another two hours if I wanted any customizations like potatoes, so I said fine, don't worry about it. When my food arrived, it still had the wrong sauce. I politely asked them to remake it with butter. They took the plate back, and when it returned, the piece of fish was half the size of the original. The server then told me the cook was frustrated because they were very busy and that the restaurant usually doesn't get much business, so they couldn't handle it. The meal also came out without butter. When I asked for a side of butter, he said he had to ask. Meanwhile, the couple at the table next to us told me they had received butter with their steak, so it shouldn't have been an issue. He came back and said the chef refused to provide a side of butter. During all of this, there was also a dine-and-dash incident, and the waiter began telling us what happened using profanity and complaining that the customers didn't pay. The entire experience was a complete disaster. Even other patrons were visibly upset. There was no real apology and no attempt to make things right. Will not return.

Chips with two dips, this was good!

A group of 12 of us came here for a birthday dinner over the weekend. We had a hard time finding the place because there was no signage, at least anything obvious, so we ended up circling the parking lot a few times. There is indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor area looked very clearly closed and sad. Our dinner was for Sunday evening at 7pm and we were the only diners there the entire time. There was one server who seated us, took the birthday cake to cut, took our orders, made drinks, did everything basically-he was awesome. The service was attentive and great. He even led the birthday song. What a fantastic guy. Anyway, we got waters and chips with salsa and bean dip-both were tasty. I ordered the ceviche sampler as my entree. I wasn't starving but I could eat. The sampler has very small portions as you can see in the photo. I get that it's fish and it can be pricey, but it was a letdown. The rest of the entrees at my table were pretty good portion size wise so I was expecting a little more. Flavor-wise, it was okay. I don't think I'd make a special trip to come back here. Again, server was awesome, food was okay.

This food was amazing. So flavorful with a little spice to it. Everything we tried was so tasty! Our service Adrian was so sweet and helpful as well. It's also super cute Tulum vibes in side. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing food! I will admit that there was NoOne here when my son and I walked in, so service was stellar. I was in time for brunch, so opted for the Carnitas Hash. SO good! Absolutely every bite was delicious. My son opted for the Chicken Taco/Enchilada combo and he loved it. The sauces on both plates were flavorful and just plain yummy. We did order drinks. Blackberry margarita for me and Cadillac for him. Good taste and you could definitely taste and feel the alcohol lol. Fantastic meal. Try it out!

Adding Agave Seasons to the list of gorgeous dining spots in HB right near the water (it's only a couple of blocks away)! With ambient lighting and a stunning interior, it makes for a great date spot. Their food is amazing! Especially love their plates, lots of which are mix-and-match. You get to taste a bit of everything. I went with their Carnitas Soft Taco and Chicken Mole Enchilada which also came with rice, beans, and a small salad. Every single element was delicious! We left with our plates wiped clean. Will definitely aim to grab one of their famed drinks the next time I'm here!

June 2024 - Best part, the parking is easy, plenty and free :) Food - For me the foundation of a good Mexican restaurant is the chips & salsa. This is what rolls out how the rest of the night is going to go .. Agave Seasons hit the mark! Started with warm, salty , crunchy chips with good salsa & bean dip. Everything that followed was delicious. Drinks & dessert also perfect. The best churros & butter cake, made at the restaurant. Service - Perfection, Adrian was super nice and he knew the menu so well with great suggestions. Ambiance - Lovely. The bar is beautiful and with a great outdoor patio.

I have had my eye on this place for years. It is right in my neighborhood. I was delighted that my friend agreed that it seemed like a good place for a Friday afternoon Happy/Hour beer. The dining room is big and bright! The bar stretched along the big windows with comfy stools. The bartender was friendly and efficient to a couple of seniors who only ordered a couple of Coors Lights. The menu looked intriguing and featured very upscale Mexican seasoned options! We spent a very happy hour drinking our beer and having a happy conversation in the most comfortable environment. When we come back, and I am sure we will be back, I may have to order dinner!

Busy hustle type vibe with the diners, cars on PCH and beachgoers. Park in the underground structure, get validated. Food we ordered: - Calamari: Standard quality with light batter and soft pieces. The pesto sauce was very good. - Ribeye House Butchered Cut: I ordered mine Black & Blue (aka Pittsburg Style) which can be difficult. They did a very good job with it. Outside had good crunchy sear in most areas and soft tender rare inside. It was generously seasoned topped with compound butter. I subbed the garlic fries for mash potatoes which was just okay. Overall, very impressed. Steak is my favorite. - Picanha: Flat Iron Steak topped with chimichuri. Ordered medium rare and it came out cooked perfect. Very soft and tender pieces. The garlic fries were very good and the arugula salad had a nice blend of citrusy and savory flavor. Overall, the food was great. Lots of seasoning and flavors. We were celebrating a birthday so they brought out a complimentary chocolate cake and ice cream. Very nice gesture. Another note; Service was great and the manager also walked the floor the entire time to check in on guests, run food, clear tables when needed and helped his staff. As someone who's worked in restaurants, that's always nice to see.

This speakeasy is known for taking your cell phone and having a no photo policy. So when they didnt take our phones, we thought we were being sneaky with taking photos. Turns out on Sundays, it is their relaxed day where you are allowed to keep your phone, and they have the side door out onto PCH open. I loved this, but also hated it if I am being honest. PCH is so loud with motorcycles non stop, and it made the room very light. It didnt really feel like a speakeasy as you could enter right off the street. We entered through the hostess stand at HQ Gastropub. I had asked one of the hostesses what we needed to do and she stated she just arrived for work and I would have to ask another hostess when they came up to the stand. Bit weird, not the friendliest welcome, but the staff inside Graceland made up for that. The hostess lets them know we are there and someone comes out to take us back to the red door in the middle of the restaurant down a hall of colored barrels. Typically that is the only place you are allowed to take a photo before you hand over your phone. Back to the service. The bartender was AMAZING. She was so friendly and just amazing. Our waitress was great too, they were both helping us out. I wish I got the bartenders name, she was such a ray of sunshine and sparkle. Literally, she had a sequin top on and the sun hitting it put sparkle across the entire room. I had two glasses of chardonnay that were delicious. I also had a sip of my friends drinks and they were DELICIOUS! We did order food, and I ordered the spicy garlic edamame but never received it. I also was not charged for it, so it is what it is. The sushi nachos were good, as well as the beignets. I am not going to share the photos I took here, because I feel they want to keep it a surprise and I honor that. I would like to come back another time when the door is not open, it is darker and more private for the full speakeasy experience.

It's great so that each patron/party has a comfortable, undisturbed experience. It's not a crowded, loud, or messy type of bar. Love that they initially provide us with water before we order. Old Fashioned was fragrant and smooth. Orange peel scent was pleasantly present throughout the drink - they used a spray instead of zest - impressive! My friend and I got in line to come here after getting a first round of drinks at neighboring Treehouse on PCH during our girls' night out. The wait was approximately an hour at midnight on a Saturday leaving us with about another hour to party after entering. I got my friend and I our second round of drinks. She wanted the Strawberry Letter 23, and I decided to go with the Floral Laurel. The drinks were surprisingly really good for stand-up bar cocktails. We took them outside to chill on the patio, soak up some heat from the fire pit, and people watch. The vibes were solid, and this is exactly the sort of venue I would come to with my friends back home in San Francisco. The reason I deducted a star from my rating is that security and the crowd could be better. Interactions with the bouncers inside the building were hostile and unfriendly. In San Francisco, the bouncers/security are typically nice and helpful, but here they were rude and brusque. No issues with the bartender who served us though.
