I do not consider myself a frequent flyer however, I had another great experience at UMMS Shore…read moreHealth @ Easton. I had an outpatient Cardiac Cath procedure scheduled yesterday, May 18th. From the moment we walked in, we were registered by a very personable, friendly and polite gentleman who entered my info into the system and was then taken to Pre-op. Once there, the nurses, a man and a woman were overwhelmingly wonderful, friendly, professional and just downright excellent caregivers. I was then taken into the Cath Lab and again, I could not have received better care from my Cardiologist, Dr Etherton, and his team. Both my husband and I would like to Thank You all from the bottom of our hearts for your care, your undivided attention to detail, professionalism, kind words and reassurance. It again is way too often you hear very quickly the bad reviews as those spread like wildfire but never get the recognition for the good. My last visit, I specifically sent a letter to the president praising the staff that took care of me and asked him to please convey my appreciation to the staff and later found out they never received those kudo's, hence my writing this letter in an open forum so that you "hopefully" will be awarded the recognition you are so deserving of. Thank You!!!!!! Sincerely, Joe Curley

Family member has been in this Hospital since yesterday morning which is now almost 36 hours ago…read more The family member went into the hospital for possible internal bleeding. The patient was admitted but has yet to see the gastroenterologist who is the one that can determine what test are needed. Whether it be a endoscopy or a colonoscopy or just monitoring but the blood work. Waiting for 36 hours to see a doctor is way too long. Overnight family member vomited but got no help with being cleaned up. A person who works with family member came in early this morning and helped do the clean up. This is so wrong. Nursing staff or should have been more attentive to the needs of family member. I will update this review as time progresses but right now this Hospital gets a zero out of 10. Spent the next two days at the hospital and have yet to see or meet the Gastro Dr., have been continously told by staff that he would be in, yesterday it was even a specific time frame, we postponed going to lunch so we would not miss his visit. Surprise surprise the Doctor was a no show again, this sucks. Turns out the procedure would be done the next morning (today), wrong now tentatively scheduled for this afternoon 1:30. This continues to suck family member has had nothing but liquids by mouth and IV fluids.for almost 4 days. Has to be a better option!!

Once I was finally brought back into the emergency room treatment area, the doctors and nurses who…read morecared for me were excellent. They were compassionate, attentive, professional, and I truly appreciate the medical care I received from them. Unfortunately, my experience before being seen was extremely concerning. I arrived around 1:50 AM experiencing severe pain radiating from the front of my body to my back, along with chest pain and difficulty breathing. I informed the registration staff that I was in excruciating pain and could barely speak because of my condition. Despite explaining my symptoms, I was told I would have to wait because several people were ahead of me. I then remained in the waiting room for approximately three to four hours while my condition worsened. During that time, my pain became unbearable, my breathing became more difficult, and by the time I was finally called back, I could barely walk or breathe comfortably. I understand emergency rooms can become busy, but waiting hours while experiencing chest pain, severe pain, and breathing difficulty was frightening and unacceptable. My concern is not with the medical staff who treated me once I was admitted, but with the registration and wait-time process. I strongly encourage Luminis Health to review its triage and patient reassessment procedures to ensure patients with serious symptoms receive more timely attention and care. I also ask that this feedback not be met with a generic response stating that the matter will be reviewed. Concerns regarding emergency room wait times and triage procedures are clearly ongoing issues, and patients deserve to know what meaningful changes are actually being implemented to address these repeated complaints and prevent similar experiences in the future. Thank you in advance for providing a meaningful and transparent response regarding how these concerns are being addressed.

They truly made her stay comfortable and pleasant. She raved about them and insisted that I leave a review to show how much she appreciated their kindness during her extended stay. So thank you, Stephanie and Hazel, for making her time in Room 608 such a positive experience. It means more to me than you will ever know.

My back had started hurting a few days before ER. I had no previous problems with my back but kept mentioning the pain including not being able to get out of bed without assistance. They may have done a catscan but dont really remember. Nothing was ever done to figure out the pain in my back. I was released after 4 days and sent on my way with no results. I followed up with my primary Beebe doctor and was told it was this or that again no answers and maybe another catscan. I went to Beebe ER 2 additional times to no avail. The pain was excrutiating. They evidently do no MRIs in ER unless it was brain. That is what they told me. I ended up getting a referral to pain management doctor and was seen 3 or 4 weeks later. I requested an MRI and he was nice enough to refer me. Went for MRI and followed up with doctor again weeks later. I ended up having a very fast spreading bacteria infection in my thoracic spine 2 verebrae. I needed surgery immediately. I just wonder why this could not have been discovered back in late october. Instead I went to Johns Hopkins and had 2 emergency surgeries. January and March. I now have 2 rods, many screws and a cage in my thoracic spine. It has taken me 5 1/2 months and Im finally close to walking again. Spent 70 days in inpatient rehab and now continuing with outpatient rehab. If only they took steps when I first brought up the back pain back in October 2025. manag
