Then I waited for my drink while the 2 bartenders talked bullsh** with a coworker that came and sat at the bar. They weren't even making my drink. Ate here for lunch yesterday with co-workers waiting for our flight and food was good, a little slow to come out but good. Such a great choice for an early pre-flight breakfast! The workers and friendly (the manager even stopped by our table to make sure everything was okay), there are lots of choices, and everything tastes good. The restaurant serves omelets made to order, a variety of breakfast sandwiches on artisan breads, breakfast burritos, and Belgian waffles with a choice of syrups. There are wonderful specialty coffees and plenty of (bottled) juices. I didn't try lunch or dinner but the menu has a good size choice of sandwiches, salads and paninis. There's even a variety of craft beers on tap and full service (very attractive) bar. A great addition to the airport! read more

Got to the airport early and had time to sit an eat. I have a nostalgic obsession with loganberry drink so I HAD to have one of the loganberry cocktails. Even though it's a highlight of the menu, they had to run off to get some - not a problem since we had time but if you're catching a flight, not so great. I was here at 9am on 8/27/2017. The cashier was not very polite and was huffing and puffing the entire time. One of the cooks asked for something and she loudly complained "I'm the only one here.". If the restaurant is having staffing issues, customers don't need to know about that. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was acceptable but quite expensive. You get nothing but the sandwich with not even fruit to garnish the plate. You'd think for $10 you'd get a small side of potatoes. Also, the egg, cheese and sausage in the sandwich are hot and the croissant the put it on is cold. You should warm a crossiant before serving a warm sandwich so the temperature is consistent throughout. Otherwise it tastes weird...like this sandwich does. As I write this the cashier continues to sign and grumble despite there only being about 5 ppl here. I won't be back. read more

The classiest option for food at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. We got breakfast here before our flight to Boston. The food itself was pretty good. Portions were small for the price, though. I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with chorizo, and my fiance got a breakfast burrito. The iced coffee itself wasn't bad, but I ordered it with the caramel flavor. It was literally iced coffee with undissolved caramel sauce, which was upsetting. But hey, the WiFi has good connection, the food is decent, and the place looks very nice. If you happen to have some time to waste before your flight, this is probably one of the best places to check out. read more

I eat here once ever 2 weeks or so (I travel for work, I don't just hang out at airports). Breakfast is better than the lunch/dinner options. I'm always a little more excited about what I'm ordering than I am when I get my food. But the staff is just SO friendly it makes up for it. Breakfast sandwiches are great, turkey sandwich cordon bleu is average, homemade chips are perfect. The meals are definitely filling and piping hot when they come out which is great because it's still warm when I get to a cruising altitude. The Buffalo Niagara airport doesn't have many options but thank god it has Queen City Kitchen. Def not your typical airport food stop. Everthing is made to order and they have a great Spicy Veggie Wrap with Sriracha. Never been here for breakfast but something tells me it would be a tasty start to your morning. I visited here three times in 2 weeks and had a great experience every time. Marla at the bar was very nice, but it was "Grandma B" who took service to the next level when I came in with my wife and three kids (and all the bags, strollers, etc). She helped us out, replaced a drink my kid spilled, helped get us settled and made us feel like we were eating at her house, not an airport restaurant. Most people (who can afford this place) travel on business and require receipts. Asking her for a bill should not have been abnormal, or should be automatic to provide one. Expectations for an airport counter service are low, but this place is pretty poor. Stopped here for breakfast once or twice. Food was mediocre. Service was inexplicably extremely slow. Like almost make you miss your flight slow for simple "fast food" type stuff. Today I was desperate for a quick lunch and made the poor decision to stop here for a beef on weck to go. It took almost 20 mins to make and I fear the impression of this classic local delicacy being left by this place. A poor excuse for a kimelweck roll, it was served on a hamburger bunch with a half dozen caraway seeds and nothing but the faintest trace of salt. The "prime rib" was fatty and flavorless. Saved only partially by good house made chips and decent horseradish. If you have some time, I'd suggest the surprisingly good anchor bar airport outpost. If you're in a hurry, the which wich place across from gate 18 is a better choice. Did I mention it was $18 for a poor sandwich and bottle of water!?! read more
