I have been lucky enough to be part of an all female, brunch group for at least 10 years. We try to get together for brunch at least 4 times a year and we have yet to repeat a location - let's just say, this place now holds a top 5 place in our hearts to the point that we talked about revisiting to our top 5 locations. Starting with ambiance.......2 full sized bars with plenty of tv viewing if that is what you are in to while there. The seating area is well lit with natural light and comfortable, well spaced seating. We were greeted by our quiet, yet smiley server, Raymond. He was warm, efficient and also gave us great recommendations (coupled with personal stories as to why they were recommended). We ordered drinks (their craft cocktail menu is one of the best I have seen) and then perused the menu. We went with Raymond's recommendation to order 2 cinnamon rolls for the table (we were leary as many places whose claim to fame for having the "best" cinnamon roll, fall short). We also ordered 2 of the multigrain breakfast sandwiches, a smashburger, Brasserie breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy (highly recommended by Raymond as well). Everything was OUTSTANDING! Phrases like "seriously the combination of this breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the buns is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had." And, the cinnamon rolls!!! Raymond wasn't lying when he said they were the best. All 5 of us agreed that they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had, and lo and behold then had a conversation about what makes a good cinnamon roll - these check ALL of the boxes. We are still talking today about the great atmosphere, service and drinks/food at this establishment. And yes, there may STILL be talk about the cinnamon rolls. Don't sleep on this place! read more

How have we not been here?! Cute place for date or work lunch with a crew. The oysters were exactly what my spouse needed (yes needed), very clean with a crisp mignotette. We wish we had been hungrier to try more but only got the smash burger. Good quality, perfectly crispy bun with my favorite, sesame seeds. Ooey gooey cheese. But then they needed to make a couple changes. The onions were good and sweet. The sauce was sweet. The pickels were sweet. Not only should sweet pickles be outlawed, it was all too sweet. They have live plants everywhere, which looks super cool and gives it that chill, Instagram-ready aesthetic. Points for that. Now, for the reality check: The food is seriously overpriced and everything is à la carte. Like, you get a burger and you're like, "wait, where are the fries?"--you have to pay extra. It's ridiculous. A basic burger and fries will easily hit $25 before you even factor in a tip. Add a drink to that, and your lunch is suddenly a major expense. The taste? Honestly, it was just meh. Like, standard average food you could get almost anywhere, but you're paying a premium for... the plants? I don't get it. The good news is the cocktail menu has some genuinely creative stuff--they look really fun. The bad news? Also super expensive. When we arrived, the menu was on qr code only, which I'm not a fan of, and had significantly decreased in choices and did not was not the same menu it was an hour before. I got essentially their Danny's Street Slam which came with bacon, eggs, home fries, and toast for $18. Everything did look great and everyone loved what they had to, so that was good. Unfortunately, no food was available at that time, and I really would've liked to see even a small menu in the late afternoon. Walking in the inside is newly decorated and I honestly really enjoyed the look and feel of the furniture, bar area and artwork. The service was very welcoming so my date and I started off with a drink, of which the menu offered a unique variety - even some delicious mocktails. As far as good the menu had all-day breakfast and some dinner options. For an appetizer my date and I got the hummus which was delicious! I happened to walk by Streetlight while in Buffalo for a weekend. The ambiance had an inviting vibe so I walked in. Streetlight is a fairly new spot and opened a couple of weeks back. They have a great cocktail list and I tried two of their signature cocktails. Both cocktails were well presented and tasted great. Brand new! Open 10 am - 1 am 7 days a week and in a prime location I suggest everyone takes a visit here before it becomes the place to be. Already hearing Sunday brunch is busy. Bartenders were great. I always appreciate when a bartender takes their time making a cocktail even if there is a couple people waiting for drinks. They seemed to do just that here. The best way to describe the newly-opened Streetlight Brassierie is lovely. The service, the drinks, the interior -- all are simply lovely. A friend and I decided to meet here for a fun summertime drink. No food for us this time, so can't comment on that. The interior is beautifully designed. There are two bars and plenty of seating, and despite that, the space still feels huge. There was a private party going on while we were there, so good to know they can host events like that! For my drink, I opted for the Death & Vegetables, essentially a spicy margarita. It was absolutely delicious. I'd never had a spicy marg before -- so this set the bar very high. The drink had a really nice refreshing flavor, paired with a spiced rim. It was on the stronger side as well, which is also a plus. My friend got a few of their gin-based drinks and also reported that they were delicious. I want to come back to try their food, which will be easy enough since they have an all-day menu!
