We stopped in for coffee today during our little wine tasting trip and we really enjoyed Queen's Cup. The baristas were super friendly and helpful. They educated me about the difference between a cappuccino and a flat white, which I always seem to forget. They were happy to oblige me with a sample of their drip, which was very tasty. They also highly recommended the sandwich shop next-door, which provided maybe the most amazing lunch we had ever had. (Lucky Hen Larder) They also sold a variety of breakfast burritos and in-house pastries that looked phenomenal. We will have to try those next time we are in the area. Easy seating at the bar top (there were two), inside, and outside. Ample parking!

Super adorable spot in a cute little old western vibe town. I always appreciate local coffee shops that actually care about how their espresso is made and where their beans come from. I got a cortado and it was made perfect. The texture was great and the milk was steamed perfectly. if you're looking for a local spot that appreciates the craft of coffee this is a good place.

Came her while we're staying in town and i was blown away! Had the honeycomb latte and the scotch latte. Both were delicious but i think i preferred the scotch latte. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable - will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my quick morning visit to Queen Cup Coffee during my weekend in Solvang. I wish I discovered it earlier in my trip! It's such a cute little coffee shop and I love seeing all the inclusive signs. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our coffee. Their chocolate croissant was also a really nice morning snack. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area.

Update: still 5/5 stars for me! I love that with the decrease in covid, Queen Cup was able to open their doors and allow customers inside. There is seating inside and out; allowing customers to sip their coffee and relax or to just enjoy the serenity inside. Side note: go check out their bathroom for a fun surprise. I don't know what to say other than I can't believe I haven't been to this place before! Okay let's break this down: Coffee: My husband and I got iced vanilla lattes (his had almond milk and mine had oat milk). Both were divine! Delicious, creamy, not overly sweet...just right! We also got colorful straws to tell them apart and I love little details like that. Staff: I got to meet Alyce and Skyler and they are just incredible humans! Alyce was so friendly and helped us pick out what drink it get (have you seen all the five star Yelp reviews?!?!?). Skyler was just as wonderful and engaged with my four and six year old sons. Love his sense of humor with them. They were just so wonderful the whole time! Atmosphere: This place deserves a sixth star for atmosphere! Anyone and everyone is welcomed! I saw BLM and Pride support posted outside of the store. They clearly showed all employees were vaccinated (thank you!) on their front window. While the store is not open for inside seating, there are tables and chairs outside for customers to enjoy their coffee and baked goods. Across the street is an open field that is just so peaceful to look at. While we were there, two therapy miniature horses can strutting by! The cuteness overload I experienced was 10/10! I left feeling an overwhelming sense of appreciation for this place.

This place was super cute and the girls working provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the coffee and chai were a miss for us. We didn't like either. I got a horchata chai and a vanilla latte, we didn't even finish them. They lacked flavor for us. We're the kind of people who like more flavor than coffee/espresso taste. The location is a little out there. Not really next to anything else.

Located in a small rural shopping plaza on a country road, I'm sure the locals know about this wonderfully cool coffee shop but the average tourist wouldn't have a clue unless they did a yelp search or had read a review (thanks Les S.!). The shop is small, only a couple tables inside and one outside. They offer the usual coffee drinks and a few unique ones. I ordered the dirty horchata. They make it with a horchata syrup they create in-house which is added to the espresso. It was fantastic! The cinnamon and milkiness of the horchata melded really well with the coffee. I sipped my drink while also eating a chocolate croissant. It was filled with plenty of chocolate which I thoroughly enjoyed. The croissant itself was tasty although more dense and crunchy rather than light and fluffy. But I loved every bite. As an aside, my wife had an Americano and raved about it. If you are visiting Solvang or passing through Sant Ynez, hunt this place down and visit if you enjoy a good coffee.

I often find myself calling it "Queen Bee Coffee"...and if you meet the owner Alyce, you'll realize why. She is an absolutely fierce and fabulous female business owner. You can't help but notice the neon rainbow light and "Spill the Tea" sign touting her business being open to serve all, no matter who or what you are. This is much needed and a pleasant sight in the Santa Ynez Valley. Queen Cup Coffee is hidden off the main drag of downtown Santa Ynez right as you enter (or exit) town. It shares space with The Lucky Hen Larner (side note: if you need charcuterie or a sandwich before or after wine tasting, you can't go wrong stopping here!). Alyce and her team stir up/steep some delicious coffee and tea drinks. This time I went with the Canela (Cinnamon) Oat Latte which was perfectly creamy with oat milk and had a hint of cinnamon spice without being full on Autumn/Pumpkin Spice season. I will admit that I was tempted by the Honey Rose Latte as a runner up choice. I also grabbed a freshly baked muffin, White Chocolate Matcha, which was something I normally wouldn't go for but made me so thankful I was adventurous that day. Shop has a great ambience and selection of merch/gifties. Staff is friendly and attentive. Also heard them working really hard on proper pull times. We got an espresso, a Gibraltar, and a dirty horchata with oatmilk. The espresso is very bright and acidic. The dirty horchata was amazing but didn't give me really strong horchata flavor. Might have been the oat milk overpowering it. Would highly recommend! read more

The drinks are delicious and fun. We got a matcha latte, Gibraltar, and the dirty horchata latte and we enjoyed all of the drinks. The customer service is fantastic too. The baristas were friendly and took time to answer questions about the drinks on the menu. We look forward to returning! Also the decor is adorable! read more

I was working here in Santa Ynez today, and was looking for a delectable drink to sip on my long drive back home. Came here on recommendation, and was amazed at how much I enjoyed it! Ordered a dirty orchata with regular milk, and it hit the spot. Not to frothy and not to sweet, but satisfied my urge of sweetness. And Alyce and her husband were a delight, very attention to detail and pleasant. I have my go to place for coffee when I am in Santa Ynez now! read more

Wow! If you are in Los olivos or driving through the Santa Ines valley do not miss out on this coffee! Skyler and Alyce are a super cool couple with a great story and amazing coffee! Really, I ordered 2 oat milk cappuccinos, one iced and one hot because I wasn't sure which one I was in the mood for during my drive home to LA - i started with the iced and it was so good I drank the hot one too! What a fantastic coffee shop! Located right by Solvang, Queen Cup Coffee is located in a corner lot with views that will make you think you're in a painting. The owners are so nice and make sure you feel welcome. And finally- the coffee. Beyond delicious and carefully handcrafted. QCC is a new edition to our beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. All their drinks are so delicious. Some of my personal favorites are the Canela Oat hot, the Chai Latte cold/hot and the Dirty Horchata cold. Be sure to stop by the Best coffee spot in SY and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Parking is convenient and service from Skyler, Alyce, Sam and Miranda is exceptional. The Canela with a shot of espresso is the perfect drink to set your mood for the day. Highly recommend the Royal Butterfly and Dirty horchata! The menu is wonderful . Came to Santa Ynez for the weekend and, as a coffee head, this place is hands down the best coffee in the region. They make their own syrups, we tried their iced Canela latte, the flat white, and their drip coffee. All were 10/10 delicious! Queen Cup knows and appreciates their craft, and their staff is so kind and lovely. Can't wait to come back. They also have some very cool merch. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in town, not only do they have extraordinarily smooth and bold coffee, but they have multiple espresso and fancy drinks that are all extraordinary. I spent the first two weeks when I moved into this town coming once a day and trying everything on the menu. The charcoal latte and lavender latte are ridiculously unique and very tasty. But the owners both work the espresso machine or the special sauce: they are friendly cordial polite remember your names and they're very active in fundraising for the community read more

What a gem in the cute town of Santa Ynez. I tried the latte which was amazing, they use my favorite Commissary roast. The service is amazing, the friendliest people and super helpful. Great little coffee spot. I just refuse to drink mediocre coffee because life is too short, so I was really happy to find this cute place while staying near Santa Ynez. I appreciated the simple aesthetic and menu--the choices were interesting without being overwhelming. Most importantly: the coffee was delicious! Just perfect. And it was really pleasant to enjoy our drinks while admiring the beautiful view. Can't wait to visit again! read more

It was friggin' amazing. One of the people in our group got the lemonade with their homemade lavender syrup which was another great adjunct to add to their main line drink, with a strong lavender syrup but still allowing the lemonade to come through.

We started with the Chip Tasting that pairs wine chips with their wine. The idea is fantastic but the chips were not our favorite. I would recommend a lighter crispier chip to pair with their amazing wines, these are too dense with fake flavors that tasted off. We had a cheese plate which was premade but still wonderful! Great cheeses and exactly what we needed to remove the memory of the chips. We bought a bottle and one of their candles poured into a wine bottle on our way out. It smells amazing! Beautiful property that can be seen from the windows inside the tasting room. Thanks again to the fellas working that day that made it so fun!

The property is beautiful overlooking the valley from on top. Both indoor or outdoor seating available. This visit, it was somewhat chilly so everyone was indoor. It wasn't that busy when we arrived but alway so great to see familiar faces. The vibes always turns to hanging out with friends and catching up from the last time. And you can't forget the wines. Yes, that's the whole point of us visiting. Everything is alway refreshing and delicious. Of course that's bad in a sense as it goes down so well....lol... Some new releases are alway a good start. My group tends to stick to the reds but sometimes a white or rose comes into the pictures and makes a lasting impression. There's been loads of time when we stopped by and the patio is bustling with people and a live bands. Summer is approaching and the fun is about the start. Plus, lately it's alway been a miss with the members lounge. Either closed and this time it was reserved for a private event. Ugh sucks on our part I guess. Also, it's sad to hear that some familiar faces have moved on but those that are still there are amazing. Until Next time.

The other day I decided to stop in this little nook of a coffee shop to warm my noggin in hopes of finding just the right quad shot, oat milk vanilla latte (two pumps) and maybe a touch of chocolate Grenache if I'm feeling a little down from long night of mixed emotions while switching back and forth from reruns of Will and Grace and Crime Scene Kitchen as I discuss relationship goals with my 8 cats..... As I pulled into the parking lot I was Reminded of cool mornings under the rising sun before a crisp prance off to school as a young lad. And I thought to myself...." I think I might like this place and I wonder if they have pastries?" Low and behold.. I did.... And they did..have chocolate croissants That day was six months ago and I have now consumed approximately 237 chocolate croissants at least 13 bakers dozen muffins (of assortment) by that magical magician of a muffin baker since then. At this point I'm not sure how many lattes or shots of espresso I've had.... But they help my headaches. I also no longer watch Will and Grace into the weee hours of the morning. I also don't have any cats. Just a couple new tattoos. The staff is most excellent..the coffee and pastries are delightful. I also heard the owners are starting a punk band. read more

I have lived in the Santa Ynez Valley my entire life and Queen Cup Coffee is the BEST coffee shop our town has been blessed with!!! My nostalgia for growing up on the Roasted Bean (a throw back for the locals) has been easily replaced by Queen Cup's unequivocal down right delicious coffee. The owners (Alycze and Skylar) are the and most kind, creative, and inspiring couple whose passion and love for coffee is felt the moment you step up to their establishment. With years of business management experience and endless support for communities of all backgrounds they truly bring a special light to our beautiful valley that I didn't know we needed until they opened their coffee shop. So much love to you both for leveling up the coffee game around here! The Santa Ynez Valley has gained some great, local coffee shops in the past few years but you'll not find better coffee in the region than Queen Cup offered up by Skyler, veteran of LA's famed Commissary, where they source their proprietary roasts.... Alyce keeps it fresh, lively, living and welcoming and you have that perfect combination of sophistication and complete authenticity and warmth the SYV is known for... you can take home some of those great Commissary roasts - so LA ex-pats don't have to quit them - and those of us who have been here can both discover them at Queen Cup and enjoy them at home... if you haven't made your way to Queen Cup in person yet, times a'wastin'! Speaking from my experience, great coffee isn't what makes a coffee shop great. When I go to a cafe I don't look forward to the coffee as much as I look forward to the people that I'll see while getting some caffeine in my system. If you're someone that appreciates positivity, family, and professionalism like I do, then you should be looking forward to meeting the staff and owners of Queen Cup Coffee. It's that one place you get a kick out of taking your friends to; almost like you're sharing a pleasant secret. I discovered Queen Cup Coffee thanks to an in-the-know friend and travel industry colleague. Since moving to the Santa Ynez Valley, Queen Cup has become my go-to establishment for excellent coffee. I bring all my coffee-consuming visitors to the reliably consistent and genuinely friendly establishment. To find a place that is fun, hip, inclusive, an overall straight up vibe, AND serves great coffee is rare. But to find in in SYV is... shocking. The owners here were SUPER cool and friendly and the coffee was fantastic. It's now become our fave spot to hit up when we are in the area for a wine weekend.
