Can't go wrong with ice cream after dinner! My niece loved eating the pistachio ice cream.

Excellent service. Great personality and the ice cream (and cones) are top notch. While there are a few choices in the street for ice cream, you're better off stopping by here first.

Best ice cream place in town!!!

Best cotton candy ice cream... Taste just like it with no artificial taste. The Spumoni and mint chip was also really good.

It's tucked into the Fine shops & Restaurant behind the park. The sign for the Kunafa peeves my interested so much I had to Google it. We came inside, were greeted by a super kind employee. I asked her what it was but mispronounced the name. She smilled & politely corrected me then told me what it was. The guy behind us in line told us it was amazing so we ordered it. My hubby got yhr Arabic coffee (made in sand) I got a salted Carmel latte. It cost $44. The Kunafa was absolutely to die for! We shared 1 & in thankful because it's too much for me. The sweet sauce with the salty cheese & crunch of the philo are a perfect combination. Our coffee was strong, just how we like it. We had great service & food. Definitely coming back for icecream. My only suggestion is maybe a sign by the road that you're open late.

Cafe Dolce offers breakfast and lunch items, acai bowls, drinks, and more. They also have a huge selection of Lebanese Baklawa, as well as ice cream. They serve a variety of McConnell's ice creams, as well as an additional case of flavors. I noticed they have a baklava gelato, so I decided to get this! It was pretty good, but I will say the prices are a bit steep for the amount of gelato I received. Fun to try this unique flavor regardless!

Been in Solvang at least 50 times but have never been to this place nor any other chocolate shops…read moreuntil recently. I suppose this is a great place to check out if you are looking for Danish style chocolates and licorice items, but not sure if it's much better than other chocolate shops for regular chocolates. Main difference with Danish chocolates is that they use marzipan (almond meal & sugar) as one of the ingredients. I'm not a big fan of marzipan so just ended up getting some peanut butter cups and assorted regular chocolates. They were quite good but pricey. Also got a gift box of nut cluster chocolates to share with my coworkers.

I was in here on a Friday a little after 6pm and no one was in here. I asked one of the young women working here what time they closed and she told me 6:30pm. I then went to check out their back area and oh my they had quite an assortment of Dutch licorice, I was in heaven! I like salty licorice, less sweet and more salty with a good licorice bite and also found one of the brands I really like. I also tried another I did know, just to see what it was like. The brand I am used to I am saving for later as I know what it tastes like. The new brand I got is a bit more sweet than I like but I still like it and it was good I tried it. This is a great shop if youre looking for Dutch style licorice. They also have plenty of award winning chocolates too and a lot of people showed up after I entered and all ordering their chocolates. Id come back here again when in town!

I walked into Copenhagen Sausage Garden in Solvang totally expecting a standard German beer garden…read moresetup. Total miscalibration on my part. Turns out, it's distinctly Danish--and yeah, that actually matters. They serve traditional Danish Rød Pølse alongside a bunch of family-recipe sausages, so you can throw your standard German bratwurst baseline right out the window. The flavor profiles are completely different. If you're going, getting the sausage sampler is the only correct experimental design. You get multiple formulations in the same operating environment for immediate side-by-side comparison. It lets you actually isolate the variables--salt, smoke, spice, fat content, casing snap. Some are super mild, others pack a huge punch. And that massive condiment station? It basically acts as a post-processing module. You're taking the same sausage substrate, altering the surface chemistry with mustard and kraut, and getting a totally different output. But honestly, the best part of this place requires zero scientific analysis: cold beer, hot meat, big bites, repeat. Grabbing a giant pint from their huge tap list and claiming a spot at the outdoor communal tables is just a damn good time. Oh, and definitely integrate the giant pretzel into your system. Salt + starch + beer is a mature technology that's already survived centuries of European process validation. No further optimization required--don't mess with perfection. Don't come here looking for fine dining; evaluating it that way completely misses the point. Come for the sampler, the massive pretzels, and the laid-back Solvang patio vibes. As a platform for eating sausage, drinking beer, and hanging out, it operates at peak efficiency. Dr. C Field Process Validation Sausage Formulation: Multi-Variable Beer Selection: High Throughput German Reference Standard: Rejected Operator Satisfaction: Above Specification

Personally, on a warm afternoon I find such a treat to be a bit more light and refreshing (and less fattening) than dairy-based goodies. Additionally, as the young lady at the counter pointed out, HSI's fare includes sugar-free options, as well. This shop - and it is a very small sliver on the end of the strip mall on the intersection of Atterdag and Copenhagen - is a walk-up establishment and, as a landmark, you can't miss the cool, colorful little electric cars they also rent if approaching the block from the side. The servers (owners?) were extremely friendly and gave us some excellent tips about local activities and nearby sight-seeing destinations including Nojoqui Falls Park - a waterfall in Solvang; who would have thunk it? For some satisfying treats and a wealth of local information, this shop is hard to beat. Don't forget to stop by on your next visit to Solvang!
