Somewhere nearby! I originally was just going to get a coffee and get some work done nearby BUT the day had a different plan for me as TIPSY NAILBAR BOCA was conveniently located next to Carmela coffee SO WAS IT DESTINY? Maybe, some may say YES! Ha ha Anywho, I didn't have an appointment and inquired about a walk-in pedicure. Although they were clearly busy, I was taken back pretty quickly. About 5 minutes before I got taken back to a seat. And maybe about 5-10 before someone came over but the massage chair and water helped. I did the Signature Pedicure with French Gel with Kelly which comes with a drink (wasn't offered but I figure it's because they saw I had a drink but would've been nice to be asked at least, I would've taken a soda ha ha). She was very kind, thorough, and efficient. She wastes no time, love that for me because I love to take my time and enjoy it by being in the moment but if you're on a time crunch, it helps. After she finished, she oiled up my toesies and put on my sandals for me. My french pedi came out perfect and I love that Kelly made sure to ask me if I liked it, which makes a big difference after having gone to so many salons who don't care enough to ask. I was excited to get my nails done here, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The…read morenail salon was nicely decorated and the staff were very polite and welcoming. My nail tech was Peter, he was very also polite and gentle with my nails but the final result was not what I had asked for. I originally asked for white cat-eye nails. The cat-eye effect was barely visible, and the color looked different from what I expected. I also wasn't completely happy with the overall finish of the nails. The nails are okay but I will definitely not be going back to get them done there again. I understand that mistakes can happen, but for the price I paid ($90 + $10 tip), I was hoping for a result that matched the inspiration and my expectations more closely. I also called in to see if I can get some adjustments on the nail polish but they said it would be another $30 for polish removal. I hope the salon can improve communication with clients and pay closer attention to the details of the service being requested.

I booked an appointment, and came in to get my nails done in the afternoon. I had a reference…read morephoto, and for about an hour and a half I sat and the senile old lady. I thought I was doing my nails totally butchered them. They were poorly painted, extremely uneven, she used half of a sticker. when it was time to pay, I argued with the manager for 15 minutes. She knew that the job was done terribly, and I continuously tried to schedule an appointment for the next day to get them fixed. She just kept trying to get me to pay for this job that was done incorrectly. So i ask her to remove the nails. She continues to argue with me and when she finally cuts them off, she cuts them with nail clippers and then leaves to do something else. So I walk out either awfully done, jagged nails. I was basically begging for them to let me come in the following day and for them to correct the job and I was gonna pay for it, but apparently I can't continue to go to salon. I don't recommend the spot whatsoever I spent two hours there and left with off poorly painted acrylic nails. i'm extremely disappointed with the salon salon because they're right from my house My name is Diamond and I will be back tomorrow, April 7th, to speak to the owner and hopefully get my nails fixed
