I am slightly torn with my review. While the nail tech did an outstanding job on my feet and spent a lot of time pampering and nurturing them, she did not do nearly as well on my hands. She actually ended up cutting into my left thumb cuticle to the point where it started to bleed and never once used an actual towel on my hands but instead she used some hard brown paper towels, like the ones you find in public restrooms. I try not to judge a shop by it's a clients but this place was rather one down and did not have a huge selection of colors. They also had the front door which led to flies roaming around the entire shop. If I hadn't been cut and if my hands had been taken care of as well as my feet, I probably wouldn't have focused as much on the appearance of the shop and just been impressed with a great job done but not so much. read more

I don't understand how this has the highest reviews in my area. My first time here. I wouldn't doubt the technicians are great and do great work. But this place scared me. The pedicure chairs are very old. No plastic protective shields were used in the tub. The tools used were not out of clean packages. Who knows how well this tub was cleaned or the last time the tools used were cleaned and sanitized! I'm praying that I do not catch something from unsanitary tools being used! I should have turned around and left after I walked in. I did enjoy my manicure/ pedicure and the tech did a good job. Me and my two friends went in to get our nails done. We were thrown off by the presentation and location of the place but we decided to give it a chance anyways, we were all disappointed in our nails. There was glue and acrylic on our fingers and bubbles in our polish. One of my friends got multiple cuts on her fingers and the nail tech did not apologize for it. I wanted a French tip with black and the top of my nail. She said we'd have to do regular polish because doing gel would mess up the white tip. I said okay then she changed her mind and did gel anyways. She wiped it with alcohol to make it matte for the white tip. And it wiped away some black from my cuticles and wasn't hesitant to fix it til I insisted. She half-assed fixed it. The white doesn't go to each end and it's kinda see through. I had a terrible experience here. I should've walked out since I had a bad feeling about it walking in. I didn't realize quite what I was walking into. The highlight of my horrible visit here was the lady taking my nail polish off with the nail drill. She actually used the nail drill to take my toe polish off instead of nail polish remover. That can do a lot of damage to your natural nails. I tried to explain to my manicurist, Ha, that I didn't have gel polish on, but she didn't understand anything I was saying. After scalding hot water, not being understood for basic requests, and the nail drill incident, I decided to opt out of my scheduled manicure and left after my pedi. read more

I've come here on occasion and usually my nails turn out fine. I'm not too fussy. I get the gel polish on my nails and a pedicure. This certainly is the best price in town. There's always parking though it is street parking. The shop itself is outdated and not a luxurious spa, but for the price and location you can't complain. This past Friday I stopped in after a botched pedicure (another unsavory review elsewhere), I had a different technician work on my nails and she was a little rushed it seemed, but the pedicure turned out fine. My hairs however she trimmed a little too much cuticle on one nail and it stings a little yet but my nails were horribly painted with three coats and I was there so long and didn't notice until I went home. See pictures in reference. Mind you I still paid full price plus tip and that's what I got....my nails and cuticles painted sloppily. I'm a bit irritated...contemplating to go back to get them repainted today. Overall if they don't fix it, this probably will be the last time I get mine done there. I really wish I would've had actually read the comments about this place before going. I saw that their overall rating wasn't that bad so I decided to go because it's close in town. My pedicure came out pretty decent except the lady was scrubbing my feet with a nail file which was weird. But my manicure was just plain bad. My nails came out crooked and the color wasn't drying all the way for the gel coating. But she just kept going! It looks sloppy and my nails are uneven. Everything in the shop is just outdated.... dirty and old. I definitely won't be coming back. read more

I have no idea how this place is in business!! It's an old, dirty, run-down shack that has extremely outdated equipment, old/expired product, and unskilled nail technicians to go along with it!! Took 3 HOURS for a full set, the "white" powder was so old it had turned yellow, the UV lamp required over 10 minutes to cure the gel, and the UNSKILLED tech took forever to do the worst job on my nails that I've ever experienced in the past 15 years!!!!! read more

I arrived for my appointment 4 min early and the lady stated I was really early. She started my appt 30 min later and we had to rush through everything because I had to pick up my son from daycare. The nails are so so. Nothing too great. The pricing is decent. 20 bucks for a full set. She didn't know how to do the specific design I wanted. Kind of old school with the new styles. I wouldn't even give this place one star. I went in for a simple fill and left very disappointed. First, the nail tech tried to force me into getting gel polish after I told her I didn't want it. She burned my nail repeatedly after I told her time after time that it hurt. My thumb literally starting bleeding. I don't know what she did to my pinky but it started burning and had to be dipped in alcohol. I left around 3pm and took a nap at 6pm, but I woke up to find my nail polish completely ruined because the coats were too heavy. I called to have the issue resolved and the worker that I spoke with gave me attitude. Not returning and I DONT recommend. read more
