Pratima is amazing! Consistently makes my eyebrows perfect, price is great, takes less than 10 minutes and the location is easy to get to if you work downtown. I used to get my eyebrows waxed but I've converted to threading since discovering this place. I came in on a weeknight at 6:20pm without an appointment and the woman working was able to work me in (I forgot to get her name!). I got my eyebrows threaded. She is awesome! I work down the street from her location so it's very convenient for me. She is quick and very good at making sure you are happy with what she's done. I like the fact that she stops to have me take a look so that we don't go too thin, as I like to embrace the natural shape of my eyebrows. At one point, I was growing them out because someone else messed them up, and she had me wait even longer so that we don't ruin what I was trying to accomplish. I came here a few times and loved the fact that she was able to accommodate me without an appointment, however I went in today and she was so careless with my eyebrows.. completely messed up the shape and even trimmed off too much, leaving one patchy and both uneven. $15 + tip was definitely not worth it. I found Pratima from Living Social and am so glad I did. Bought her face threading to try for the first time, and am never looking back. Love her salon, her attitude, and the results! Pratima is so genuinely nice. She even let me use her phone charger, and accommodated my moving my appointment. The salon is apart of a beauty collective in a historical building - entry is a bit tricky (sometimes buzzer doesn't work). Usually there's a constant flux so someone exiting can usually let you up. Pratima is VERY gentle with your eyebrows and communicates very well to fit your needs. I've had places whack my brows out and make them bleed. I'm used to having red eyebrows for at least a day after I get them done but since she was so gentle it didn't happen! She has great prices and her work is amazing.
