Pratima is amazing! Consistently makes my eyebrows perfect, price is great, takes less than 10 minutes and the location is easy to get to if you work downtown. I used to get my eyebrows waxed but I've converted to threading since discovering this place. Although threading is a bit more painful, it's way less harsh on my skin and the shape turns out better and more natural in my opinion or at least when Pratima does it. Highly recommend! read more

I came in on a weeknight at 6:20pm without an appointment and the woman working was able to work me in (I forgot to get her name!). I got my eyebrows threaded. I don't have the thickest eyebrows, so I asked her to just clean them up and trim the length. She was quick and did a great job. Really satisfied with how my brows look. She is awesome! I work down the street from her location so it's very convenient for me. She is quick and very good at making sure you are happy with what she's done. I like the fact that she stops to have me take a look so that we don't go too thin, as I like to embrace the natural shape of my eyebrows. At one point, I was growing them out because someone else messed them up, and she had me wait even longer so that we don't ruin what I was trying to accomplish. I came here a few times and loved the fact that she was able to accommodate me without an appointment, however I went in today and she was so careless with my eyebrows.. completely messed up the shape and even trimmed off too much, leaving one patchy and both uneven. $15 + tip was definitely not worth it. So I show her my groupon that was marked as redeemed and expired three days ago. I've usually had better customer service experience.. Not recommended at all. read more

I've done threading quite a few times and never have I ever (emphasis on ever) felt so little pain while I got my eyebrows threaded. The salon is apart of a beauty collective in a historical building - entry is a bit tricky (sometimes buzzer doesn't work). Usually there's a constant flux so someone exiting can usually let you up. I found Pratima from Living Social and am so glad I did. Bought her face threading to try for the first time, and am never looking back. Love her salon, her attitude, and the results! Pratima is so genuinely nice. She even let me use her phone charger, and accommodated my moving my appointment. She answers every question and phone call so patiently and was knowledgeable about threading. You'll feel right at ease. I've been seeing Pratima for a few months now and she's extremely skilled at what she does. I love how friendly she is during every session also. Most threaders I've been to in the past actually never talk to me during the session so it's been a really pleasant experience having her as my go to. She's extremely consistent and every time I go, I know exactly how my brows will look once I walk out. Other threaders sometimes would make them too thin, not remove all the hairs, make them uneven, etc. For the amount of time I've seen her, she's done a great job at helping me keep my brows tamed, helping them grow in thickness and in shape.
