We went here as a group! First and foremost, shoutout to Treyvone (hope I spelled his name…read morecorrectly), for being so accommodating and checking on us to make sure we're good! He went above and beyond customer service. Thank you! Also, the place accommodated for our lost time because of the fire drill! The staff was quick in addressing it and shout out to the Farmingdale Fire Dept for their fast reply! Lastly, the race was fun! We did 2 races and it was a blast! Also played some arcade games. :) I think the price was fair. The last place I went to that was similar to this used fuel, and I paid around $79. Considering the $10 difference, I say it's decently priced! Just a little note: the safety video needs subtitles because you cant hear anything.

However, we waited three hours for a race that only lasted 10 minutes. You have to come with plenty of time and be prepared to wait for the track. Maybe it was just packed because it was the weekend. Bathroom was dirty and smell Way beyond nasty.

Another review mentioned "grimy' which is the perfect description. A lot of the clientele is sketchy, too, and I would not feel safe alone. There were very limited food options. Our only choice was the Triple Crown Cafe, where we purchased hot dogs, and the Silks Bar for drinks. The seating area of the track is filthy and full of bird droppings. There was garbage stuck in the rails looking down onto the paddock, which had clearly been there for some time. We still had a great time and would definitely return, as shockingly, this is not the worst track we have visited. I hope they tear it down and rebuild like Belmont. There is so much wasted space and wasted potential.

Covid19 review This…read morereview is for the covid testing process. There's no horse races going on right now. Instead you can find a drive thru covid test center. You go online and register yourself at covid19screening.health.by.gov first. Then they call you to schedule a drive thru appt. You can call them too as well if it's urgent. Entrance for testing center is on rockaway blvd. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is being tested and has an appt. Drive in and let them know you have an appointment. Keep your drivers license on the dashboard and your windows up. You drive through a checkpoint where they will confirm your identity and appt. You'll then queue up to get tested. Once in the tent, they will check your drivers license again and then finally tell you to roll down your window halfway. The person testing you will swab your nostril for 10 seconds (feels longer sometimes). They then give you a card with instructions on getting results on bioreference.com. Your results should be ready in about a week. Good luck and stay safe everyone!

Signs everywhere saying you need to pay and have a helmet. I have come here dozens of times and shocked by people's behavior and then reactions when they get screamed at. People try to sue these types of places weekly and you wonder why they flop out when you walk right by a large sign...! The dirt park is pretty intense and it's rad to watch the guys shred. The paved pump tracks are awesome for all levels of biker and skater. I got to watch some 3-6 year old shred. Personally can spend a couple hours there easily and if it's slow all day as lines are endless. Sign a waiver and pay 5$ .... a coffee is more. I couldn't believe it was so cheap. It was small, and "quaint" years ago, and has now morphed into a big money factory. The bottom line is that the casino itself is HUGE. TRYING HARD This place tries real hard, but there always seem to be things that make a visit trying. I was not happy with the signs at all. They are confusing, in some cases missing, and sometimes poorly placed. Also, some of the staff seem to be on Mars. Two of them fumbled a simple question like, "Where can I get a racing program?" THE $39.95 PRIX FIXE On this latest visit, we hit the Empire Terrace for the $39.95 prix fixe. It was good, and "as advertised." But, when a fellow diner threw them a curve ball, like a simple side order of mashed taters, they messed it up. A server came out and hesitantly served an ugly glop of powdered potatoes, on a gigantic, lonely plate -- 15 minutes before any other food came out! The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake was fantastic. THE ENTERTAINMENT Of course, it is a lot of fun betting on the horses, and watching them out the window! (I was not lucky this evening.) The casino itself is colorful and noisy and "typical." The bands in the lounge are invariably talented and fun to watch. The parking situation is just so-so, as ya gotta take a bus because the lot is SO huge! All in all, it is a worthwhile experience, though I couldn't do it often. THE OTHERS Not all gambling is innocent entertainment. You will undoubtedly notice that there are many, MANY people here who have a very "different" experience than a diner at Empire Terrace might. They appear shabbily dressed, and down on their luck. You won't see them in the restaurants, or dancing to the music from the band. I can't comment on their experience, but I noticed they were fleeced, just like the rest of us. But they didn't seem to have the cash to spare. So, that's here, too, remember.

Guests should not feel intimidated or threatened with removal before an issue is properly resolved, especially in an environment that is supposed to be fun. Even NYPD would likely handle guests with more courtesy and professionalism. The regular staff seemed much nicer and more respectful, which made the Lieutenant's conduct stand out even more. And on top of that, you barely win. Go to Queens instead. Have fun.

While it is like driving an oversized Go-Cart, there are no speed governor's and you are in control. These TQ Midget Cars can go up to 120 mph. However, for us average drivers, you can get up to speeds of 60-70 mph. You get 5 laps around the 1/3 mile track, with laps averaging 15-30 seconds. For $30 more, you can get 5 more laps. The whole experience lasts 1-2 hours from check in to completion. They provide you with Cotton Socks, a Fire Resistant suit and shoes and Helmet. All you need is your License and CASH if you plan on purchasing a Photo, GoPro video, or additional laps. Otherwise, leave everything else in the car because there are no lock boxes available. No experience is needed. They give you a personal presentation about driving the vehicle and then bring you to the vehicle to learn everything you need to know about it. After this, you are ready to go! Everyone goes separately, however, you will follow an experienced driver in a "pace" car, but this will not limit the experience. Without a Groupon, I do not know if I would pay full price to do this experience. They do offer a Two for One special as well for $220 that includes 10 laps instead of 5, so that may be worth it. It is also worth noting that they only run this Experience during the summer time at 9am and 1030am.
