Been living up the block from here for 8 years. Pretty much the last time I'll do Queens. I got 4 cheese burgers and 2 LG chili cheese fries to go. I live 4/5 minutes up the block. When ordering the food at the little window, I seen a bunch of cold fries in the corner just stacked up and for some reason I knew they were gonna give me the cold fries and sure enough when I went home to taste the hot food. I can taste stale, old, cold fries. The only thing that was hot was the chili. The cheese was cold. The burgers had a bunch of white lettuce it was whack I'd rather go to McDonald's at this point. Alert check your food before leaving. Service was not to bad but for four burgers and two chili cheese fries they gave me two bags of yellow chilies. When I asked for more he looked at me weird I just dropped $59 here for a whack meal. read more

My first impression of Queen's was that it isn't very "queenly" The exterior is drab and boring It's sad because with that name you could do a lot with the theme. It was so dreary my son would not order from the drive thru menu. I worked through my initial apprehension and placed my order. I got the basic: hamburger, fries and soda. I was pleased! The burger was moist, the veggies super fresh the fries well seasoned hot and crispy and finally the price point very affordable The service was "queenly" the person was friendly and very accommodating. I used to love love coming to this burger spot, always so good so fresh. WAS the best spot to go to in Pacoima in my opinion. But sadly my perspective has changed after today. I went and ordered 2 cheeseburger combos a cheeseburger by itself and chili cheese fries and onion rings even after the total was 55 or 60 I don't remember but I know it as around there which if you ask me ridiculous. But I loved it and didn't mind. I placed a phone order and was told to go in 15 minutes. I went in 15 minutes got home in less than 2 minutes (I live around the burger spot) and my burger was ridiculously cold! I called and wanted a new one and the same person I placed the order with answered and he then said "you lagged it tho, yeah you straight lagged it" and I couldn't believe he said that to me. So unprofessional. And I said no I didn't "lagg" it I went in 15 minutes he then said "yeah you right you right" went got the new burgers and they were still cold. They don't taste the same. With the prices gone up you'd think they'd have better ingredients and better quality now. But no it's not the same and the customer service is ghetto. read more

This was the go to spot when in the area. The cheese burgers are very good. If you're in the mood for a good Char-Burger, this is it. It's juicy and very tasty. I give the French fries a 9/10 I ask for crispy and they weren't but the flavor is the perfect balance. I just popped them in the air fryer and they were more then perfect. Wow, has this place gone down hill! I've been coming here since 1990 and I have never had an experience like this. Ordered two beef dips and an order of onion rings. When the order got called we were given two steak sandwiches with all the fixings and one small cup of au jus. Wait what? I try to ask for a second cup for the au jus and get told that we ready got it. Then a man comes over and says he doesn't know what we ordered because he isn't cooking and yells at me that it will be ten more minutes. Then my dad comes over and shows me the steak sandwiches. Not beef dips. The girl behind the counter just stares at me. Then when I explain that they were steak sandwiches and not beef dips she says they will remake them and to throw what I had away. 10 minutes later she tells me it's ready. Two cold chopped up meat sandwiches on toasted rolls. I can't believe that this is happening. I bring it inside, and the man from before says he doesn't know what's going on and that the girl will help me. She comes over and I explain that they are cold chopped meat sandwiches and that all they got right was the onion rings. More blank stare. I left. No refund. We basically paid thirty plus dollars for onion rings with a side of ranch. I just ordered this same exact meal a week ago and everything was perfect. This used to be a go to when working at the airport. I will never go here again. read more

I have ordered to-go from this place in the past and they have solid BLT's, fries, and breakfast. I recently ordered to dine in and it is extremely dirty. Based on the cleanliness (or lack of cleanliness) I am removing them from my rotation. If sanitation is not an issue for you - go for it! read more

The double burger is pretty good in my opinion. As for the chili cheese french fries they were delicious but a little bit over seasoned with pepper. Great customer service. When I went up to the front counter inside I ask what is going on with my order because I could see that my meals haven't been even started when the cook with an attitude said its NOT DONE YET and the girl cashier rudely said we are busy You're NOT busy making other customers meals that have come in way after I order but you're not busy to make their orders but why am I being discriminated? A pacoima staple, queens still continues to serve high quality char broiled greatness. The fries are the best. The long running staff and the next generation run the place as flawless as ever. It is not clear whether or not new management has come into play, or old owners made changes to the menu, inflation has definitely hit home hard. The sauces are a quarter each, the bills have taken a rise, and the once 'burger special' is but a whisper. The prices have taken a hike, however, the quality at queens continues to impress and I can speak for the rest of the neighbor hood, queens is still worth at least a stop a week! read more

In any other era, this would be a stop for people riding the train to step off and grab a burger through a walk-up window. In this case there is also an area for sitting. It's a shack to be sure. HOWEVER, it is also a very unassuming place where you can get one the most sloppy of burgers aptly named "The Monster Burger" The combo itself will set you back about $15. But to be fair this is really two meals. Perhaps even a family could enjoy it. It's got pastrami, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickles, two beef patties. It's a vertically massive heap of food. And is intimidating if you don't eat in parts. So, look, if this isn't your daily caloric intake, all good and enjoy. I would say, it is a delicious burger. I wonder how their customers would feel if they noticed the workers are charging a tip of their choosing and not letting anyone know about it? I have been going here for basically almost my whole life. Never have I complained about their prices and I normally tip. But seeing that they have been charging me a tip without consent and telling me the prices went up, that's where you lose my business. Everyone should ask for a itemized receipt that shows every single item being charged for. If I do not hear from the manager or owner I will take this to court. I've been living in the San Fernando Valley for most 25 years I've always seen this place on my way to Hansen Dam for my every day run. I was been curious but never took the time until this weekend. Service was fast for being a Saturday night, I placed my order over the phone, fast picked up no problem. I order a cheese burger, it's was OK fresh and delicious. Order a kids meal was pretty big for the value ii am a big fan of chili cheese fries so therefore everywhere I go I must have them try them, I was disappointed they were too salty and whatever condiment they use was too overpowering. I end up not eating them because I just couldn't handle the saltiness. I did try the fries that came with the kids meal and they were good not too salty. I was told by many of my friends that this is a good place to eat, i said ok ima try it out. I just have to say for a chili burger i was dissapointed in the lukewarm-cold chili they put on it, also the bun was burned pretty bad. I have had better food for spending almost 18$. Also their chili is not traditional it has chunks of birria ( pot roast ) style meat in it, but i prefer regular chili, that does not reflect on this resturant though. I am not fully satisfied and i should be when spending almost 20$ on a burger and fries. Ok I got the double cheese avocado burger. Honestly the meat was extremely thin and looked like the bagged Pattie's you get from the grocery store you know the ones you take to the lake with a big family. Bread was crumbly and had no flavor. The fries had no salt and were in a lil bag. For the price I paid I expected better. The real reason I'm upset is cause I literally waited 45 min for this burger I was so excited cause I thought to myself well if the wait is this long must be good.
