Came here on a whim and ordered the 1/4 pound cheeseburger combo with side of onion rings. Food came out piping hot. Fries reminded me of McDonald's fries with seasoned salt (ifkyk). Onion rings were massive, lacked a little seasoning but the side of ranch and thousand island helped. Burger was very tasty and fresh. So I went here to finally try their breakfast burrito. I know they are known for their pastarami sandwiches but I wanted to try their breakfast. So this place is nice and clean and well lit. Very spacious too! The cashier who helped me was very nice and accommodating and was patient with me when I was ordering and trying to figure out if I wanted any changes on my burrito. They also have a drive thru too which is pretty good for those who are on the go. I also want to say I like the decor inside the feel of having picnic style tables with checkered patterns on it really makes for a great feel when it comes to having an establishment like this and with what they serve. Anywho, you have a variety of options to choose from, breakfast, lunch dinner burgers, cheese fries hotdog salads tostadas you name it! Very diverse and it remind some of like Topz, lucky boys or Everest it has that feel of a menu which u appreciate. So I went for the breakfast burrito, I got a little bit of everything which was a good deal with how much I paid for under 13 dollars. I got sausage, ham, bacon. It also came with salsa inside if you want it. Now this is where I made the mistake. So I finally get the burrito and best part is they have a complimentary counter for your creamer, radish, chili, salsa and hot sauces freshly made and self serve too! So I got those and I went for the burrito, the size and portion is perfect! The flavor was ok and you know what do you expect right from a breakfast burrito most of the time it's about the salsa and sauce you use which brings me to my point the salsa is better outside of the burrito not in. The salsa didn't add much flavor and in my opinion dumbed it down for me. Moreover, the ham was ok I didn't much care for the chopped up ham in the burrito. It was slightly over powering paired with the salsa in the burrito and all I could taste was salsa and ham. The red and green hot sauce were the best and made the burrito better for me. I think overall I give the burrito 6/10 and the place 4/5 stars. Next time I come here I definitely will try their pastrami sandwich! read more

Very disappointing experience. We've been coming to this store for a long time and always bring our dog, and there have never been any signs saying pets are not allowed. During our recent visit, a staff member approached us in a rude and confrontational way about having our dog inside. If pets aren't allowed, the store should clearly post signs at the entrance and communicate the policy respectfully. I used to visit this place often in my young adult years. So since we were near by, I had to take my kids. One thing about BoBos is they're going to give you a lot of options. We got the chicken strips with fried, waffles, fried zucchini, and grilled cheese. Unfortunately the fries weren't the same that they used to have, but they were still seasoned ok. The grilled cheese was typical and my daughter enjoyed it. The chicken strips were no good. The batter was undercooked and the chicken was poor quality. We all liked the zucchini and the ranch that came with it. For some reason they put a strawberry sauce and whipped cream on the waffles which made the soggy. Next time I'll ask for it on the side because my son did like it. The waffle was also a little burnt. All in all it was a fine enough meal. I really don't understand why people act so petty when it comes to asking for condiments at a restaurant. I have been going to this location for years and never had a problem asking for extras. I asked for yellow peppers, just the yellow peppers with out the jalapeños that they try to mix in and it seems like I touched a nerve. Who knew that Bobo's has been around since 1975, and they have five So- Cal Locations?! I certainly didn't. I only learned about them once I drove past, saw the sign and said, "what's a Bobo?". Never heard of it so let's give'em a try! I like the nice convenient drive-thru. Service was friendly and they made my Chili-Cheeseburger as requested. It was a bit smaller than expected but it was pretty good. The fries were not as firm as I would have liked but they were nicely seasoned. Not bad for a chain I've never heard of before.
