We got 2 cheeseburgers combo, the burgers were so good! It's a Greek place, they have gyros, I want to try that next time. The sauce in the burger was delicious, charbroiled ground beef patty and crunchy lettuce. Lots of fries with the combo too, a bit too salty in my taste, but not horrible. The fries are so darn good! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo to go, and ate a lot of the perfectly salted, thick cut (not steak fries) fries on my way back to work. The service is fast and friendly. Their fountain soda is refreshing and delicious (perfect balance of soda and syrup). The burger was good. The only concern is that the burger patty is very thin. Came here on a whim while doing laundry, as I was hungry, bored, and had an hour to kill while waiting for my clothes to dry next door... Ordered the Cheeseburger, and at only $3.50 (pretax) it's a steal! The lettuce, and tomato was fresh, and their Russian sauce wasn't too ketchupy, which is how I prefer, just right! Unfortunately sad I have to make this review but due to the poor service i've had here now i've had to. Usually the guy taking order at the front has always been nice and takes orders correctly even confirming what you want, they seemed to have change this guy to a new young teenager who does not know how to work as a cashier. He did not take any of our orders correctly (literally none) gave us a medium fries with no seasoning instead of a large with extra seasoning and a regular burger instead of a plain double double, not sure but seems as if he may have been under the influence considering that he didn't even count the money and gave us back money as we were still trying to find dollars to complete the total he had told us. Besides this one new guy I still have no problems with the restaurant and the food has always been great, although the prices have gone quite up and it's pricy to buy here for me, I still don't mind spending any amount for food here if it is made correctly. read more

Honestly I don't know why my family likes this place they always seem annoyed when you order and never listen to to what you order ...I ordered two double cheeseburgers with bacon and avocado and they ended up with no bacon...I ordered an orange bang drink and ended up with a sprite but my mom actually received the drinks so she didn't check I'm already home and don't want to deal with the hassle so I'm probably never going back to this location. That's what http://dictionary.com says and that is the best word to describe my meal at Queens Burgers. When I pulled into the parking lot of this tiny place, I sure had my qualms about eating here, but Quincy's BBQ in Encino went out of business, and I didn't want to post a useless review of a chain like Quizno's so Queens was necessary for me to complete my Grafton-esque OCD challenge of 26 reviews A to Z. Queens is one of 82 million Char-Broilers in the Valley, and I have learned that most of them are decent enough cheap eats, so I decided to give them a chance. It didn't help that they were re-tarring the roof on the laundromat next door and the smell of molten asphalt filled the air, but I would've given this place 2 stars on their best day, so there was no mark down for that. The seating area had a large room air conditioner and it would have been nice if someone thought to turn it on. What did concern me was the rating from the health department in the window. It was a "3" on L.A. County's A-B-C scale. How do you get a number 3? Simple you place a placard over half of the "B" and hope no one notices it. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the $5.00 cheeseburger combo. I upgraded from the small Diet Coke to the XL and with tax my bill was about $6.55. The cheeseburger was low-end meat, I would guess it was a quarter pound of beef, but it was so flat it matched up nicely with the large bun. The bun was also covered by a ton of lettuce including a couple of core pieces that added about half an inch to the height of the sandwich. The bun was an over-sized sesame seeded hamburger roll which fell apart under the weight of the lettuce, burger, mayo and thousand island dressing. (Do these people realize that 1000 island is half mayo anyways?) The french fries were actually pretty good, almost but not quite a steak fry cut and fried to the point of crispy. I don't know if they use fresh potatoes, but I did notice that some fries were 6-7 inches long and others were 1/4 inch nubs. That's not a bad thing, but shows that these aren't mass produced fries. When the meal was over, i asked for a refill on the Diet Coke and was told that it would be $1.50. if you are a regular reader of mine you know that that's a deal-breaker in my book. So I left and went back out into the asphalt air. I guess I'll move that 2-star rating down to a 1-star after all. I survived to move on to the letter "R" without having to use the word "QUEASY" so that's a good thing. But I really having nothing else nice to say about Queens. Along with the new updates, they seemed to have lost their flavor! Please stop messing with the old recipes! The sauce now tastes watered down. The veggies on the burgers no longer are the same. They turned an amazing burger into a basic burger. They need to get the old cooks backs, their old recipes back or something! Meh... It was ok. I got the cheeseburger and chili cheese fries and it was good but nothing more than your typical greasy burger stand. The price actually I thought was not bad for the amount of food you get but nothing really makes me want to come back here. Service was average they just want your orders and to give your orders nothing more. Keep in mind people only come to this app to either 1) Leave a really bad review, or 2) Tell you how great it is! This place has always been great, the food is always hot, tasty and huge. The burgers are enormous, they taste delicious and with some bacon they're just amazing. The fries are always hot as heck and their seasoning is so damn good! Something you won't see me complaining about but everyone always complains about is the pricing. Simply and sincerely if you're looking for a cheap burger, go to McDonalds or Wendy's. This is a small shop that delivers good portion sizes at a reasonable price. I'd say averaging $13- 17 per combo, or about an hours worth of work in wages to buy a full meal...which is NORMAL! Even a customer who already finished their food noticed how long we've been waiting and advised us to ask what happened to our food. I don't know if they heard our conversation because that's when I saw then frying eggs which was part of what I ordered.
