I have ordered delivery from here a couple times. Today I ordered a medium chicken tenders meal. I would say the prices are excellent! I also have never waited long for my food which is nice. The tenders are always on a more crispy side which is my preferred. I will say it is not spicy. You can feel some heat but if you really want a spicy chicken I don't think place is it. I would say it's more for people who like heat but not too much. The fries are crinkle cut with seasoning on top although there isn't much flavor. I would say you could feel some heat though. I will say I do like it quite a bit but it's nothing overly exceptional or exciting. A more pretty average chicken meal. read more

This gem just opened up about 3 months ago. Tucked away in a shopping plaza in San Fernando, Senders serves up quite the variety of food from smashburgers to chicken sandwiches to tenders to breakfast options (like chicken and waffles) to donuts. I got the double combo, which is a burger with two smashed patties, caramelized onions, cheese and pickles. It was juicy and delicious and I didn't even need to put ketchup or the Senders sauce on it. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. You also get a drink and while I was tempted by Dr Pepper, I opted for water. My wife got the senders tenders combo (mild) - so good, she loved it - and for the drink she got strawberry hibiscus. Refreshing! I did try the senders sauce and it's akin to the Cain sauce at raisin canes. Doesn't really serve a purpose for the burger but for the tenders, absolutely. As I left, I also got cookies and one of their donuts (in the case was cookies and cream, fruit pebbles and a glazed). Everything was absolutely Delicious! The staff was just lovely. So cheery and welcoming. The owner took the time to ask us how we liked it and we were very complimentary and it wasn't just lip service. Meant every word. The place isn't big but it is clean, bright, the menu is big and clear, there is big sign that says "Senders" if you want a fun photo and there are seating options on the side if you eat there and a place to sit if you ordered to go and are waiting. With the decor putting a modern spin on the nostalgic 50s diner and good music to boot, there is energy that makes Senders stand out from other fast-food restaurants. Nothing bland around here! To start off, the fries are generously sprinkled by a type of Cajun seasoning and very tasty by itself or when paired with the Senders Sando. They're not soggy, but also not dry or burnt. They are pretty darn addicting, although there is a lot of seasoning so I would suggest dialing back a bit on the seasoning. The Senders Sando is their signature chicken sandwich with house slaw, pickles, and the secret Senders Sauce (which they give an extra packet if you choose to have more). It's probably one of my favorite fried chicken sandwiches that I've had in a while. Everything works well together and you get a lot of interesting combination of sweet and savory flavor with every bite. From the soft fluffy bread to the cool cole slaw, nothing is extraneous. And of course, the chicken breast delivers! So much flavor in bite! I think the only thing I'll change is going one spicy level from Medium to Hot. The Medium is pretty mild (but not bland), so if you like a bit more heat like me, go for the Hot! I placed my order online through the yelp app last Friday evening, I was given a time of when my order would be ready. The online ordering system should be reviewed because it is not accurate; when I got there I still had to wait for my order even though I had gotten clear confirmation of it stating it was ready. I ordered the double smashed burger combo with the orellana's special, the burger itself it needed more seasoning in the patties, in my honest opinion, and the bun felt a bit soggy I know it's smashed but idk I didn't like the overall texture compared to when I had the loaded fries. The iced coffee this time around felt like it was done in a rush, and I sat down and saw when it was being prepped. The guy at the register seemed a bit overwhelmed especially since most orders were being picked up, and not ready; he kept saying "we are working on it" I got one of those too when I walked in. My husband and I popped in by chance while walking nearby and this place was immediately a hit. Food was served after about a 10 minute wait which was surprisingly very fast and the food was brought right to our table with ketchup and all the sauce we needed without even asking. We had the smash burgers and fries and the burgers were made very well with so much flavor. Fries were good and the sauce is a MUST. One of the best smashburgers around! I found this place from a YouTuber I follow who does food reviews, and he said this was one of the best smash burgers he's ever had. So of course, I had to check it out. This place definitely feels like an upscale burger joint. They serve burgers, tenders, donuts, and even specialty coffee. The menu has a lot of great options, and if you want to go big, they've got "loaded" versions of everything that are just wild. It held everything together and didn't fall apart, which I always look for. I also really appreciated how generous they were with the pickles. Most places give you one or two little ones, but here they load them on. I love pickles, so that was a big win. The tender was super juicy and moist. I got the mild spice level, and the seasoning was just right. I also really liked their special sauce. It comes in their own custom packet, and it's like a Thousand Island with a sweet little kick. The wings were subpar and on the dry side - if they added more sauce to the wings to make them more wet... that would do it for me.
