This nail chipped from opening an envelope. The nails are not well prepped and the techs dont let your gel cure since they are in such a rush to get you out of the chair. The person on the phone told me she did the designs but would be out of the shop. She asked me to show the other tech my style when I arrived to see if she could do it. When I arrived, everyone was friendly and the shop was clean. Each tech's credentials were listed and their health score was 100. There was one other customer and I was seated immediately. There was no water in the bowl and I really didn't have a chance to soak my feet which was strange since no one was waiting to be seen but that was fine. Gel has a $10 up charge but it was noted on the menu which I appreciate. I showed the other tech my photo and she confirmed that she would be unable to do that design. I guess I didn't make it clear that I still wanted my hands done so I told her that as my pedicure was ending. I move to the table and she cuts all of my nails off. Then, the other customer and I are told to switch places. The gentleman begins working on my nails. He adds the tips, rounds them per the new photo and then begins to add the dip powder. He finishes four of my five nails and then points to his hand and apologizes. One nail was a bit mishapen so I thought he was maybe apologizing for that. He continues to apologize and starts taking the powder off. I asked, "Do you not like any?" and he responds, "No." I assured him that it was okay and everyone has days. I wasn't upset or anything but I also was thinking maybe he's starting over. Then, not only does he take off the powder, he takes off the tips. All the while, the other tech has finished the other customer but isn't jumping in to assist-just checks me out. And yes, I still tipped. So, now I'm left with no nails and no explanation. Oh, and when I got home and looked at my pedicure it was spotty, the gel isn't even across my toes-no pic because I don't like my feet. It was strange and really just disappointing. I don't think I'll be back.

"Feet" down - the best pedi I've ever had! (Sorry about the pun - just had to)…read more I've been three times now. Pedis all three times and a buff only manicure once. Once seated in the extra large leather massage chair, you are given a menu with a long list of different spa pedicures. Chooses include various soaks, massages, hot towels, hot stones and paraffin. You can choose anywhere from a quick 20 minute pedi to a luxurious "Zen Spa" which is over an hour. The prices aren't cheap - the Zen is over $100 but rest assured, you do get what you pay for. Gel adds $20 to the base price. Finally, you choose your color polish from books of literally hundreds of colors. Upon selecting your pedi, your feet are immersed in a tub of hot water containing aromatherapy, salts and possibly even red wine depending on the pedi you choose. Your treatment begins with a foot scrub and then proceeds through whatever package you chose. Last visit, I had the red wine spa which was supposed to be 55 minutes of bliss but ended up being almost 20 minutes longer - no complaints here. At other salons, you never quite know what you're going to get - it's all dependent on WHO you get. Here they use timers and there is no cutting corners or skimming here or there with your treatment. I'm way too hard on my hands for regular manicures but my DIL gets them here often. She doesn't get gel so she needs to touch up her polish but her nails always look nice. You can make an appointment but I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes and that was a Friday afternoon. There is a new nail salon 2 miles from my home but I'd rather drive 25 minutes to Primp and Posh and know that I will definitely have a relaxing experience.

I did t the manicure with paraffin wax and hot towels, and did dip on my nails. By 10:00 that night, I had cracks in 4 of my nails. I had done nothing except watch a game and hold my baby. By Sunday, I had 2 more nails with cracks in them. By Monday, the dip was lifting off of my nails. For $80 I expect much better quality.
