I went to this salon often about a year ago when I was getting my nails done pretty regularly. I went back this past Thursday & got the dip on my fingernails and regular polish on my toes. They gave me the "matching" polish. While my toes were drying I compared my fingernails. My nails were several shades lighter. (Apparently they match the dip and the gel/regular polish sets) Because they were so different I decided to info the guy so they were aware but I had someone with me and honestly didn't want to wait to get anything else done. I figured moving forward I would get two different colors so there would not be an issue. While I was explaining to him Kim (she did my fingernails) overheard and ended up saying she could apply gel to my fingernails that way they would be the same colors. I agreed. I overheard them explaining to someone else that if they haven't used the dip/polish they don't know it's not a match. It would have been nice to have that info directed to me as that is understandable. Additionally, in the beginning that should be a disclaimer and/or checking the dip and polish. Over the Easter weekend my nails began to chip. I want my nails that are chipping fixed however, I am over it. read more

Today while getting my nails done, which should be a relaxing experience, this loud-mouthed person came in, being combative about everything! She was totally unreasonable and making a scene. I just want to shout out to the owners of this salon for handling it with dignity and professionalism. They defended the manicurist who was the target of this patron's ridiculousness, and upheld the salon policies. Worst pedicure ever. It is was seriously disappointing. I hadn't had a pedicure in around 2 months. Honestly, my feet were bad. My heels were super cracked and dry and my feel have callouses galore. Moving to a warmer climate and living in flip flops or going barefoot left a number on my feet. Today, I wanted to take an hour out of my day of unpacking and parenting to pamper myself. I made 12:45 appointment for Beyond Nails, and decided to pay the 10 dollar upgrade to a Deluxe pedicure. What a waste of my time and money! I arrived at 12:40, 5 mins early for my appointment. They brought me back to a pedicure chair, which I sat and waited at for almost 20 mins until the tech next to me finished. The thing is, I sat in a chair. They didn't add water to the tub, my feet didn't sit in a whirlpool jet to relax and soften up. I sat in a chair. With dry feet. Then at 1pm, she started my pedicure. She filled the tub and one of my feet went in it. She kept the other one out to trim my nails. Put that foot in the water and trimmed the other toe nails. She went through the motions of a pedicure doing the absolute minimum to be done. She rubbed some scrub on each of my feet/legs for a few seconds and then scrubbed each of my heels with a pumice for about 10 seconds each. Then she walked to get hot towels, rubbed some cream on legs, wrapped the hot towels on my legs, let them sit for maybe 75 seconds while she punched my legs a little to make it look like she was massaging. Then she wiped it off with the hot towel, rubbed a bit of cooling gel on my legs and started polishing. She started polishing my toes at 1:17pm. Which means that she took a total of 17 mins to give me a 'deluxe pedicure'. She polished my toes, which look fine and now I sit under a dryer. What a waste of my time and money. It's honestly depressing. I was so looking forward to a nice massage and a little pampering, and instead I'm fuming inside. I just felt the bottom of my feet and they're still so rough :( This review was written while waiting for my toes to dry in the salon. Because my feet never soaked, when she tried to get rid of a hang nail on my big toe, it wasn't softened at all and she ripped it out, badly. It's now the next morning, and my toe is throbbing in pain. Just such a depressing experience. read more

Honestly a 1 is very nice in my opinion and I say that bc the people are nice HOWEVER. The nail service that I recieved wasn't the best and they are high. I am fairly new to the Huntsville area and all so I can only speak on where I came from (TX). The SNS nails are good if you get them done by the owner... with anyone else it will be a hit or miss. The pedicure says you get a extra foot massage it that didnt happen, but sitting right next to me a friend she got it. Also NEVER EVER get a Brazilian wax here. That was the worst decision I ever made. She missed 2 patches of hair that I couldn't see at first until I got home and I got wax burned. I went to wipe myself after using the restroom and one lip of my v was burning and swollen!!! And it cost 70 dollars!!!! I wont be going there again. The botched Brazilian was the last straw. I didn't have an appointment but they had a many people working and immediately took me and three others who had walked in without a wait! The lady who did my powder dip nails (it was my first time trying powder) did a wonderful job and was so so patient with me and my concerns/questions. How many times have you ever been to a nail salon and immediately feel relaxed? Or so entirely impressed by the cleanliness of the entire salon? This place has exceeded all of my expectations. I can not wait to return. The business is newer (around 6 months old I believe). When you walk in, you are greeted by one of the owners (both work here, Kim and Joe), and they both are so friendly. There were four technicians today and all were extremely friendly and made conversation with me. They immediately have you sit at either a manicure station or a pedicure station. The pedicure stations are amazing (massage chairs, super comfortable and large that adjust to your liking). Honestly, I don't think my doctors office is as sterilized as this business. The "baskets" (foot wash tubs) are lined with new disposable linings before and after each customer to ensure top quality. All of the equipment is also very sterilized, and I actually saw them put the tools in the sterilization machine. If you are wanting a very clean and safe nail spa, this should be your home. I received a pedicure today with French tip. Now I "used" to have some rough feet, but Kim worked magic! My toes have never been this precise and my feet are so smooth. She definitely relaxed me completely with the massage chair and her massaging my calves and feet. With the relaxing music in the background, it took all I could to not fall asleep! I don't normally brag about new businesses, nor go on and on about the service unless it is needed. But this little Gem deserves some recognition for the services they provide. I can't wait to come back, it is super convenient to me now, and knowing they are so clean and hold a 100 health dept. rating, they have truly earned a repeat and frequent customer. read more

Yesterday was my first day coming to this nail salon after reading all the great reviews. I got the green tea pedicure and fresh acrylic nails. PEDICURE: the best pedicure iv ever had. I got the green tea one. The chairs were big and comfy, almost like you sank right into them. The water temp was a perfect warm and not to extreme temperature either way. Most places it's to hot or cold. The lady cleaned under my toenails. Scrubbed my feet and exfoliated with the green tea scrub. What I really loved and sets this place apart from the rest is the tub part where you put your feet, it flips up so you can rest your leg on it while your feet are being scrubbed. You dont have to hold your leg up which is nice! That part just adds to the experience of the best pedicure! I will continue to get my pedicures here for that reason! NAILS: now this part is a sore spot for me. I needed new acrylic nails because my old acrylic were too thick and needed to be redone. I asked for a soak off to begin with. At first the girl tries to pry them off and not soak them. I get it, prying them off may save time but it hurts! After prying my thumb nail off, she took some of my real nail with it causing it to bleed and hurt. Only then did she soak my nails after I had originally asked to have them soaked in the first place. So after getting the old stuff off and the new put on, I had asked for the oval shape. She almost didn't seem like she new how to do the oval shape because I had to keep telling her I want oval and they were still two squared. I dont like square nails on myself personally. So while she was still filing on my nails, the file she used cut my finger really bad. (You can see in the picture) it hurts still really bad and it bled a little bit even after I get home. Your not supposed to leave a nail salon on pain! After a while, she managed to file a somewhat oval shape that I could live with. Some of my nails still aren't very oval shaped like I like and are uneven. So after that experience I wont be letting them do my finger nails because I'm such a stickler about my nails and having a good experience. I spent $85 dollars in this salon yesterday and I'm torn about if it was worth it or not. I spend good money on my nails because that's my "me time". So over all, I recommend the pedicure but not fill ins! read more

I was greeted immediately and asked what services I wanted. I chose a basic pedicure and SNS fill. The massage chair was so relaxing and the salon itself was extremely clean. The young man who did my pedicure did an excellent job and my SNS manicure came out beautifully. They have a health rating of 100 and are dedicated to making sure they maintain that health rating by keeping everything clean and sanitized. They have high quality products. They not only pamper customers with their manicures and pedicures but they make sure to customize their service to each customer in order to take care of the customer's nails the best way as to not damage the nails. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I can not believe that this is even ranked in Madison, AL.. let alone the #1 spot. I came in with my sister and mom, hoping to spend time with them. We were sat no where near each other. The environment was silent and dead. Sure they were busy, but no life in the place. No music or TV on and felt that speaking was prohibited. They had some of the WORST color options I have ever seen. Coming from someone who use to work at a nail salon I know a little bit about Nail Products and they were using the cheapest of brands for Gel/Shellac. Maybe my nails will last through the weekend, but then again maybe not because this color is awful! I would love to give a shoutout to how gentle the manicurist was however was never once told her name nor did she wear a name tag. There were no prices anywhere posted either. They had paper service menus at every chair with the prices clearly listed and mini bottled waters at each chair as well. I have given this place about 4 chances on SNS manicures, and every single time they burn my cuticles/fingers with that electric spinning filer to the point where they bleed. My cuticles look way worse after I get manicures here, and my fingers are in pain for days. It's like getting paper cuts on your cuticle. I believe the owner did my nails, but it looks like a kindergartener did them. I had to file when I got home because they were cut and filed into a diagonal line. Also, they are not very sanitary here. I saw the lady doing my nails move brushes from the water container, to the top coat container, then to another container. She also used the cuticle clipper to pull something nasty out of one of the jars, and then put them right back into her drawer. Needless to say, I have given them enough chances, and I will not be coming back. read more

I went here and tried SNS and I absolutely loved it! My nails looked fantastic for three weeks and survived my house work and gardening! My only problem is I am a very busy person so when I go in to get my nails redone I should get in and out fairly quickly especially since SNS soaks off easily. Well after covering my fingers in tin foiled acetone another customer walks in and she not only stops doing my nails but gives the lady a full set of nails. Amazing nail salon! I have recently moved from the Huntsville/Madison area, but over the past few years I was a regular there. I have been getting the SNS dip manicures (usually French ombré or a regular dip color) on my natural nails and gel pedicures, and I recommend their services. The owner Kim and her sister do a fantastic job on dip powder manicures and shapes. They don't have chrome, cat eyes, and some of the newer nail trends but they do great quality work. They play pleasant soft music, are very friendly, and maintain a very clean atmosphere. Just like any other nail salon, they can get crowded on the weekend so I would recommend going on a weekday. read more

Found this place on yelp & i'm so glad i went here! the place was clean i loved that they had water on every pedicure chair & a brochure of the prices & their services. Went here for the first time because they had the highest stars out and most reviews on Google. Im happy we ended up here. I rarely get my nails done so I had no clue where to go. Any way, my husband and I went together. He wanted a manicure and 2 acrylic nails put on. He's a guitar player and has heard of many great players doing this so it's something he wanted to try out. I think there was some confusion at first because I had scheduled for 2 manicures but when we got there they were setting up the pedicure stations. Like I said I've gotten my nails done maybe 5 times in my life and most or those times were when I was very young, in ohio, with my mom, at a place where cosmology students did it. So I thought maybe a foot soak was part of the pampering. Im happy we ended up doing the pedicures though! My feet look great and my husband was a riot. He was laughing so hard while they messed with his feet that he had everyone else laughing too. They did a great job on hands and feet and the staff was very kind. We were in and out pretty quickly too which was great because I had to get to work. (Took almost an hour to have mani-pedi) cost for both services was $40/person plus a little extra for his acrylic nails, plus we tipped each girl $10. If I had known I was doing a pedicure I would have picked a different nail color. The one I picked for my hands was very boring because we aren't supposed to wear fun nail colors at work but I love having bright colors on my toes. It makes them look so cute! That's my own fault for not speaking up though. There is a slight language barrier with a couple of the girls but in the end they figure it out.
