The staff are so friendly and informative. The shop is so cozy as well. They have a few plants, books, candles, stickers, other goodies to buy as well.

Queerly curated space awaits your visit.

I finally had a chance to stop in here and have coffee with a friend the other day. I have walked by several times and have wanted to check things out and this local queer business. I am glad that we had a chance to support this eclectic coffee shop/plant store. This shop has a uniquely Portland vibe, yet I've never experienced anything quite like it before -- the lighting, the soft puffy clouds on the ceilings.l the variety of plants and planters area a real draw during these dark, winter days. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They have a good selection of coffee and teas and a smaller selection of baked goods. My dirty chai was great as well as the muffin. With tip it came to around $17 and some change. I have to admit that was a bit of a sticker shock to me. But on the plus side, my friend and I got to enjoy our time together in this beautifully curated space and the other customers seemed to appreciate this comfy space as well. I am sure as a small business there must be a struggle and balance of determining prices. For me, I will make time to support their business, especially in this political climate. I have seen so many cool local businesses close and I want to make sure that I am mindful of helping small businesses blossom (pun intended) in our city.

Fantastic ambiance! Plat friendly food! Amazing place to spend the afternoon! Walking into Queer Plant Café feels like stepping into a little oasis of color, kindness and green magic. The place is cozy and packed with plants everywhere, it's like the café itself is alive and vibing with you. The crew is super chill and welcoming, you feel safe and included the second you walk in. It's not just coffee here, it's community. Food and drinks hit the spot. The menu has solid plant-based choices and you can tell they care about the details. My latte was smooth and on point, and the vibe of the space makes everything taste better. This spot isn't just for grabbing a drink. It's for slowing down, feeling seen and soaking up the good energy. Definitely worth checking out if you want a place that's beautiful and full of heart.

This place is a great addition to the street. Nice hang out cafe to enjoy coffee type drinks , breakfast and lunch. Very veggie and vegan friendly but also have some meat options so a good place to hang out with people with different diets. Service and staff are great and make me look forward to my next visit.

Sunday was the sound bath event. Super excited on that! Enjoyable ! Very cool to have this cafe ! What a gem ! Love the green energy ! The tasty food has great representation!

Stranded at PDX during a long layover, Dave K picked me up to go to breakfast and see a few sights. Queer Plants Café was a perfect choice. The Portland neighborhood reminds me of growing up in Berkeley with its laidback, bohemian vibe. Queer Plants Café fits right in. Colors and live plants are everywhere. The bright morning ambiance is completely inviting. The caffe latte hit the spot after a sleepless night in EWR and a transcontinental flight. The Brekkie Breakfast Sandwich was really good and gone quickly. It was such a healthy vegan sandwich although I probably hurt myself by adding sausage. With its friendly service, I'd be a regular here just like my friend. I'd have to move to Portland though. Hmm.

This cafe is so fun! I enjoyed looking around at the plants and other little trinkets while waiting for my coffee. The coffee was also pretty solid and the service was great!

Quite literally the cutest cafe you can ever visit. The vibe is simply immaculate. Attention to detail was placed in everything. The plants and curated merchandise were all adorable. The coffee was delicious and they had creative and fun syrup flavors. Looks like everything is plant based as well! Very welcoming with free WiFi and friendly staff. Don't sleep on this place, it's one of the best in Portland.

I was super inspired but so many plants they have. That native plants section is amazing!! We did a slow wander and came inside to continue to want to purchase everything! A favorite shop to me has a bit of everything. I want to be a person whose home is full of plants but I have four cats.... I would genuinely be bringing them home to murder house. One entire table is dedicated to the wonderful work of Ida Galash - she paints rocks and makes floating coy and frogs - I have them in my pond sense I can't afford to buy sushi (aka real live coy) for the local raccoons - they have cracked a few open just to make sure that they are not real. I wanted almost everything in that room! Somehow I managed to resist - but I got 2 of Ida's frogs, 4 bee magnets, a lovely white porcelain snail and a perching crow , who will look stunning when I place her on my house! My friend was sweet enough to buy me a outdoor stone frog. I encountered several employees who were so sweet - I even shared some bug stories with one! This shop is a great example of a place that makes you enjoy shopping. And yes, some of the things are very expensive, but, there are plenty of things that are very reasonably priced also. It is curated very well, I saw so many things I have never seen at other places. Clearly , somebody took the time when buying things for the shop - details matter. I also appreciate a lot of local offerings down to dried flower boutonnieres. If anyone needs this for a dance, a wedding... wear one to brunch!
