I was able to go to Bison last weekend,. I will first start off by saying V ladies working behind the counter were incredibly helpful and insightful on letting my daughter and I know all about the coffee shop. It was our first time visiting, they made us feel like we were regulars. I had my usual iced latte with oat milk and honey and I'd like to say it's one of the better ones that I've had in Portland so far. They have their own homemade pastries that they make their in-house. This is a must for people that are trying to find a new coffee shop, this place is outstanding and I have a feeling it's gonna become one of my regular weekend go to's. [Ambiance] I love how intentionally the cafe was set up and decorated. Bison Coffee House is Portland's only Native-owned coffee establishment. It is a safe space for Natives, and also support veterans. The cafe is very spacious and beautiful. I love the flowers out front and the natural light inside. [Drink] I tried one of the seasonal specials--a hot brown butter latte with oat milk. Delicious! You get a choice of light, medium or dark roast espresso. I opted for dark and it was smooth and delicious. [Other] I bought a shirt-sleeve shirt to support the local business for only $22. High quality and cute design. [Service] The two employees that helped me were very patient, kind and helpful. I asked a lot of questions and was met with a level of patience that unfortunately is rare in cafes. I highly recommend this coffee shop!

My favorite part of this coffee house is the option to pick what type of roast you would like your espresso drink made from. I've tried their medium roast and decaf selection and both are full bodied, rich and incredibly smooth. Baristas are always lovely and answer all my questions. Usually take my order to go but the inside is a cozy western-ish theme!

I visited Bison Coffee House a few weeks ago. I came there to work and to read. The space is decorated so well. I love the bison head. There are also a ton of drinks to choose from and a great selection of pastries. The service was friendly. There's also a nice back patio area as well. I got a sweet cream scone that had berries in it and a chai. The scone was soft, buttery, and delicious. The chai was good. Since I was at the shop for awhile, I got a second drink. The other drink that I got was a strawberry matcha which was equally delicious as the other things. I'll definitely come back here and I highly recommend that you check out this coffee shop.

Twix special latte 12/10 : lots of flavor, not bitter, perfectly smooth flow of bourbon caramel and coffee Veggie Bagel w' CC 10/10 : refreshing tomatoes and cucumbers, sharp onion flavor and creamy cream cheese Almond Danish cookie 10/10 : (not sure of the actual name) nice crunch without tasting dry, nice sweetness but not overbearing The owners were super nice and helpful with any questions I had about the different flavor of coffees. Unique ambiance- it was nice!

Speechless but appreciative for sure my mouth is delighted the coffee cake and ricotta. Abel are a must try and the lavender latte is to die for. They should've just called it kamikaze coffee Mz. SaVistication

It's unfortunate that so many things seem to be getting out of reach of many Americans. I wish I had the magic wand that would make it so that more people could afford what they needed and that the business owners would still make a decent profit and share some of that with their employees in the form of living wages and benefits. I'm old school and we managed to both save and invest during our working lives. And now in retirement, we still don't spend like there's no tomorrow. I thought this would be mostly flavor spicy, but it was actually REALLY hot spicy. I couldn't actually finish it between not being thrilled with the flavor and the spiciness. This location ended up being pretty darn convenient before a hike so off we went~ My friend and I both got an 8 oz latte and 2 breakfast sandwiches, ham for her, romesco for me. The 8 oz lattes came out in petite little glass cups; honestly a good size if you don't want a giant drink, but also a tad pricey when it comes quantity vs price. The breakfast sandwiches are offered with a side of hot sauce which I highly recommend because adding the little zing and flavor was delightful. Coffee wise, I had the stroop latte and my friend had a vanilla latte with oat milk. Both pretty tasty! The romesco breakfast sandwich was warm, filling, and hit the spot for a savory breakfast; they didn't skimp on the arugula either so I felt like I was adding a leafy green. They also had quiche, bagels, granola, etc. The interior is bright, with a decent amount of seating; larger shared table in the middle. Service was friendly. This location is in a popular spot with other eateries so street parking can get busy! Plan accordingly and check this place out for some delicious coffee, baked goods, and food items.
