Let me start by saying there is nothing better than homemade tortillas. They fresh make them everyday!! They are delicious. We went as a party of 3 today and everyone was very happy with their food. We did a burrito, tacos, chiquilladas, and churros which we forgot to take a picture of. I also got a dozen tortillas to go so I can try them from home. This place was very good and the service was friendly. I sampled enchiladas michoacanas, chilaquiles and tacos. Everything was good and the only thing I wish were different was the tacos. I was under the impression that the tortillas were gonna be handmade because other reviews talked about handmade tortillas at this place. By the look of the pricing of the Tacos, I automatically assumed that they would be handmade tortillas. So it was a little disappointing to get regular store-bought tortillas. We found this place through TikTok. My spouse and I have been searching for a place that does a good breakfast burrito and the person we saw raved about how good the burrito was. We both ordered the chorizo burrito, simple nothing fancy. The homemade tortilla was a beautiful touch, not many places do homemade. The chorizo lacked any flavor. The breakfast burritos here are the best I've ever eaten! One thing that is really unique about their breakfast burritos are the beans. I've never been to a place where they put beans in their breakfast burritos. I get mine here with chorizo and it taste delicious. I also like putting their hot sauce on it. The service is good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. This restaurant is only open till 3pm so if you ever get a chance and want some good Mexican food, I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Located across from the Fresno State Softball field, it's in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The menu is very extensive with daily deals - I love that they offer daily affordable options. The hard taco with the shredded beef was a disappointment. The taco shell was hard and the beef was under seasoned. The vegetables were fresh and my favorite part. The dude and I came to Tacos Marquitos around November 2019 as we are trying to use our Coupon book that he always purchase and we go to places and forget to use them. Anywho, I have been here before like in my undergrad years, feels like yesterday. When you enter there are no menus as their menus is on the board. They have a variety of options that are fairly cheap. This place is also self seating too. I love how they let the customers just take charge. I ordered the Al Pastor enchilada and taco plate which came with beans, rice and lemons. My plate was so good and flavorful. Each bite was so yummy. I seriously LOVE how you can use ANY meat choice for enchiladas omg! Love it. The Al Pastor meat was flavorful and yummy. The dude liked his plate. There was a group that looked like they were setting up their party as they were bringing things in. We always beat the rush as it was starting to get packed by the time we came in. The establishment was clean. Staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed my meal here. The Horchata was good. Which I always forget to take pictures of. Good food and company you can't go wrong at all! The food is good but I'm taking a star off. Why? Because no matter what you've paid extra for, who you're asking to please make sure those things make in on, despite your tip and friendly approach, they NEVER seem to add those things and when they do, it's like they're making it for your 90 year old frail grandmother who eats less than a canary. Can never taste the extra cheese I've paid for and when I pay for extra onions and cilantro, they put so little on that it's a disappointment. Today I paid for extra bacon, cheese, onions and cilantro in my b-burrito. And sure enough, it's like they're giving their lives away and unwilling to put those things on in a measurable way (the fingernail of a Lilliputian), even when you PAY EXTRA for them. JIPPED! You want to charge $2.00, $3.00 more? I don't care, just put it in there would you???? I should be able to notice it and taste the difference. Done with b-burritos here...Los Gallos Taqueria is by far better and you can taste the cheese without even having to ask them to put additional on. I have been a long time fan of Tacos Marquitos. I probably eat here once a week. The food is always perfectly seasoned and the burritos and tacos are never soggy. My grandmother made her own tortillas and salsas and this place is the closest to hers that I can get and they do not disappoint! Recently, I worked with Jesus on a catering order and his service was above and beyond! We ordered beans, rice, Birria o Barbacoa, Mole de Pollo and tortillas. Before Jesus would let me order the mole he insisted I try two versions one the way the chef makes it and the other the way Jesus thinks it should be (slightly sweeter). Both versions were so good it was almost impossible to choose but we went to the chefs version of the mole. Everyone at my event raved about the food, which is no small feat given more than half my guests were family and raised on homemade Mexican food. Okay so I've been in Fresno for 7 years and I have NEVER been here! My dad got me a burrito like a week ago and didn't remember where he got it , just that it was on Cedar in the area. So I yelped Mexican food and looked for places on Cedar in my area and I felt like this could have been the one.. and it was As soon as we walked in it smelled amazing! I got an asada burrito and my husband got the asada sopes. We couldn't even wait to take a picture , had to take a few bites first lol. The worker Astrid was very nice and helped her figure out the order right. We went to pick it up. The order was ready and the worker was masked and nice. We were given the order, paid and left to take it home after my mother fought with them. She paid for two orders of fajitas and they were only giving us one. We went through awful trying to get it. They did two fajita veggies on the side after my mother went off on them for taking advantage. My mother had to tell her there was two orders and it was paid for. They tried to take advantage. My mother wasn't going to have it. Then, when we got back to the apartment and my mother was pissed. The order was incorrect. They did retried beans on both orders and the meat didn't look good! She ordered boiled beans. Looked very cheap for the major cost of it. Not worth it and I never heard the end of it. We went back to get the right order. It was a drive to go back. The worker took the wrong order that we brought back and my mother insisted on checking it and luckily it was right. She also asked for chips for the hassle and that was given. Thankfully, she ended up happier that it was done right. We left to have lunch. Wine was very much needed after that. The lunch ended up being pretty good. My Mexican breakfast looked like it was served to you straight from the middle school cafeteria, no flavor whatsoever, Jack in the box does a better breakfast (they have the same bacon supplier lol) I was up charged $1 to "upgrade" my hashbrowns to regular potato's.
