So I had a appointment at 9:40 AM and I arrived around 9:30. The parking was really easy. It was fairly easy to find- check in process was smooth but I do have to admit at 9:40 there were about 10 people waiting and all of them had appointment appointments, and two of them were walk-ins. By the time I got seen it was probably 30 minutes later like 10:10 and my blood draw was quick. I think I was out the door 10:15? So technically everything did take under an hour but I'm used to the San Dimas location where they are a little bit quicker just because I think they have more employees. I believe today three of them were working. I still have respect for all these people. Quest just has so much demand that seems like a lot of of locations are understaffed or overbooked my experience was all right here today. I can't complain. read more

Their hours are from 7am-12pm. I got there shortly before 12pm and placed myself on the waiting list (2nd person on the list), only to be turned away and lied to 10 minutes later. I was told by a male employee they could not take any more patients because everyone already went home and told by a female employee that the only reason the door was open when I came in was because the door does NOT lock. I walked out, and while walking down the hall, I thought about what I was told and turned back to speak to someone again, only to find the door locked. They did not have to lie to me. read more

I went to this quest lab today Feb. 20th. There is no sign for the hidden office. Inside there is no receptionist nor a counter. The one that call patient seemed ok. Du to my walk-in I have to wait for 30-60 minutes. I waited for over an hour, there was still two walk-in(they were there over 30 minutes without being called) in front of me and many appointments to be taken care. I was not sure how long I still have to wait, probably another hour or two. I quitted and went to Labcorp that took me 15 minutes only. Quest should refuse patient if they cannot handle walk-in rather than let them wait endlessly. I think they have a very bad management and system. read more

I'm very frustrated with the management of this location. I had blood work done on February 11 and they didn't even start testing my blood until February 21. I don't understand how my blood just sat in the lab for that long and if my sample is still viable. On MyQuest portal it still says that my blood sample is in progress. My doctor contacted them too asking what is taking so long because I should have had my results over a week ago. I will never go to this location again. One star is for the wait time. If you have an appointment, be prepared to be waiting for more than 30 minutes from your appointment time. Quest needs to look into this location either by hiring more staff (or so the staff claims to be the reason) or not having so many appointment times bundled together. Also, they need to prioritize appointments over walk-ins. Never had an issue about waiting past appointment time for that long at the Chino Quest location. read more

I have a really bad experience with this Quest location at Diamond bar. First of all, it's a difficult to find the room. I looked up on Gps it showed the building 750. I walked in and had a hard time to figure the room. It should have a sign up in the front or something noticeable. The nurse who did my blood test is pretty rude!! I was kinda nervous to get my blood test. Then she asked me to close my hand but I did it slow then she wanted me to do due to my nervousness. Then she yelled at me "my goodness jess" in my FACE!! This is so rude. Suddenly she poked a half big needle which it's not a butterfly needle in to my arm with a hard pressure and caused me a bruise in my arm!! I did probably around 3 tubes when the tube filled it needed to change to another and every time she changed the tube she pressed a pressure in it. The thing I learned from this experience is I will never go back to this Quest location again. They did pretty terrible job. And also next time I will ask for a butterfly needle. I would give a zero star if I could. I took a blood test almost a week ago. The picture is my arm today but it was more darker couple day ago. I wish it will be gone soon. read more

Quest as an organization is run more poorly than any government department that I've encountered. I was charged over $750 last year because they couldn't update my insurance. When I called them and waited on hold for 30 minutes I was able to get them to update my info (and they'd scanned my card at this location more than once). The person on the phone said it would take TWO MONTHS for their system to update my info that I'd just relayed to her. That was SIX MONTHS ago and I just got another bill for $779.55 by email and I know it's for the same reason. As to this particular office in Diamond Bar, I walked out on them twice because they'd "overbooked" according to the woman there, and "my computer went down" on top of that. The last time I gave them a sample was for that previous billing error (when they scanned my card) and the woman said she was understaffed so everyone has to wait. This place is joke. Avoid this location, and Quest in general if possible. Okay, two weeks later I get the paper invoice. Just talked to Quest about the $779.55 bill. It's a new bill from this year. They hadn't billed insurance because there wasn't one in their system. Did I say this company is a joke? I'd rather deal with the DMV. read more

Review is for recent service. My dad (in his middle 70s) went for his 8am appointment. He was there on time but waited for one whole hour, still didn't get his blood drawn. He did the check in and then front desk did see him and acknowledged him. But later people came in all went in before him. My dad had to fast for this test and as a diabetic it was dangerous for him because he started shaking due to low sugar level so he left quickly. So I made another appointment for him to go in today. As I wanted to make sure everything is smooth for him this time for he doesn't speak good English. But the telephone recording said 'thank you for calling quest diagnostic MIAMI"?? Although everyone present had an appointment, they were behind by an hour. The phlebotomist came out and explained that it was taking long because it was only two of them. She also explained that they take a break every time they draw blood and then asked if anyone had questions. A woman kindly asked how much longer and she said she didn't know. The woman also asked how much time she should said aside for bloodwork since her appointment was at 8:40 and it was already 9:20 and the phlebotomist responded all day. The phlebotomist continued by blaming the patients because they were taking time from her since she was answering their questions. Once I was brought in for my bloodwork, the phlebotomist complained about this location being the worse, that 10 minutes was not enough and complained the whole time she drew my blood. She was so worked up that she wasn't careful, not only did it hurt when she drew my blood but she also scratched me with the needle. I don't think anyone loves having blood work done. Maybe there's that one guy you know, but he's some sort of weirdo, and you should probably avoid him . For the rest of us, I would highly recommend this particular Quest Diagnostics. Our doctors or insurance companies often choose where you need to get your blood work done, but WE get to choose the office. If it's anywhere close to you, this is the one to go to. I found them to be friendly, professional, clean and best of all...fast. I don't always have the easiest veins to work with, and these pros always seem to get it right the first time and spare me any unnecessary discomfort. You don't need an appointment, but can make one online. There's a touch screen at the front desk to check in when you get there ( whether you have an appointment or not). Spacious waiting area that is well kept too. Remember, drink plenty of water in the hours before your blood is drawn. It makes it all so much easier if you are hydrated. read more

Came here on the day before Thanksgiving at 7AM(time that they open) door to enter was still locked and two gentlemen and I were outside waiting. A few minutes later they opened. Front desk receptionist was a caucasian long blonde hair woman who was rude with an ugly attitude who also looked like she just rolled out of bed. Was rudely sarcastic and gave unnecessary "smart aleck" responses: unprofessional and unpleasant to check in with! Had to have blood work done, the lady that did my blood work was cool. But the reason why I had to post this the most was that I was bothered with how another nurse was speaking and treating an older gentleman. I couldn't believe how rude she was talking to him. It just goes to show that there is no respect or morals from the staff when it comes to handling their patients. It could be that there is poor coaching/supervision or even training when it comes to this locations hiring department. Please teach your staff to be more friendly and how to work with kindness and most of all respect. I was only in this place for no more than 30 mins and got an overlook with just one other patients experience, I can only imagine what goes on in one whole business day. read more

Horrible place, first time going to this location and never again! Their system was down and there was a lot of people waiting when I arrived. They had a sign on the kiosk that said system down, sign in on paper. After waiting there for 20 minutes a worker finally goes to the front desk and begins to check the sign in sheet. I asked her how long the wait was gonna be since the system is down, and she said she had no idea.... And couldn't give me an estimated time. I told her they could at least update us, as a common courtesy! Wow, no one at that location has the courtesy to update us on the wait time, or at least apologize for the wait time, if I wouldn't have asked I could have been waiting for who knows how long! My parents has an appointment at 9:40 am but they came early at 8:30 am. Suddenly there were some people came without any appointments.. and the admin allowed to go first, instead people with an appoint. My parents realized they allowed Caucasians to go in without appointment but ask the other races to come in. We notice the race discrimination happened in this time. Poor service, no one at the front to check in with or ask questions to, just a small digital kiosk. very small waiting area. Must have an appointment to be seen. You can check in as a standby/walk-in but you won't be seen. You will wait for hours for nothing, even with an appointment you will be seen at least an hour after your appointment time. Can't make appoinments on site, must be done over the phone or internet. Waited more than two hours with an appoinment only to be told they didn't have my lab order and could 't help me (they claimed to be having fax issues). Be prepared for disappointment. read more

I've been going here since I was little. Now that I'm older and have to drive myself here, I still get the upmost attentive care and kindness from staff. Check in went smoothly, I did an appointment and things went quick with the QR code to check in. They even took me a little bit early, but my appointment was early (8am). I forgot my phlebotomist's name, but she was so kind! I told her I was nervous with needles, and she took the time to chat with me to distract from the blood draw. Extra plus, I didn't feel anything when the needle went in. Overall, this place is awesome. Definitely make an appointment and get things done early in the day. read more

I had appointment went there checked in, was told they are out of the lab tube.. gave me a list and ask me to find other labs.. they got the oh well too bad for you attitude. Also how they check in patients is a Disaster waiting to happen during Covid time! I waited 30 mins in a long line to check in, the waiting hall and check in room are way too small with too small to obey social distancing rules and worse of all the have too many seating in the room! Quest really needs to look into this facility ASAP ! people who are doing the labs are the sick and immune compromised population, this facility is a vector of massive spread of infection-- it is scary !!!! I scheduled a routine lab requested by my medical provider. The wait was reasonable. The tech was new and confused about the doctor's request, but got the job done. The issue is that they refuse to bill my insurance. My husband has not encountered this problem. We both see physicians in UCLA so a local lab is convenient. One is due to the horrible attitude the short Hispanic girl had, I go in for an appointment that I made on-line which by the way was great.... I arrive 5 minutes prior the girl at the counter was excellent took a copy of my insurance card and scanned me in..great so far. Then the short Hispanic girl calls me, no good morning or how are you doing just go into room one.... I went in sat down and she had me sign a paper, meanwhile she is entering information into the computer so I looked for signs posted on the cell phone policy and- nothing so I made a quick call into work since I was dealing with a situation with a customer.... as I am ready to hang up she turns around with god awful pissed look and scolded me " you need to get off the phone" I'm like okay I hung up and told her she didn't have to have that look on her face and there is no signs regarding phone calls....plus I did it while she was doing her computer work... she said well they took them down to paint and I said is that my fault.... at that point I didn't feel comfortable with her shitty attitude and did me a favor and took me into another room..... which BTW had a sign about phone and another girl drew the blood, this girl was awesome and friendly, I mentioned to her that the girl didn't have to be so nasty about the phone and she said I should be on the phone while she is drawing the sample......I explained that 1) I was on the phone while she was on the computer and 2) there wasn't any sign regarding the phones and 3) she doesn't have to be so Rude.... what's wrong with a " sir there is no sign but there is a policy of no phone while in here" duh! I guess they don't teach you professionalism when you go get you certificate. Even thou it's close to my home I will never go back to this place! Good quick service but their billing methods are to be questioned. I had to get labs done quickly and was seen as a walk in. The receptionist informed me that they use a system called easy pay where they reserve $68.00 on my credit card until their billing service sends out a bill and they would charge from the $68. Never heard of such nonsense. I have great insurance with a $10 copay. Was told it could take up to 2 weeks for me to find out what I actually pay. What is this. I am going to report this practice to Blue Shield 2/1/19. Received a polite note from Quest informing mecggey have a department that deals with my type of issues and to please call..........why in the world would I, the client, waste anymore time dealing with a company that can't get their billing practices together. Any other provider I see tells me exactly what I owe as they, and I am sure Quest could too, go to Blue Shields website for the exact billing info. read more

The group is severely understaffed, I went into do a check up for work and it took an hour, they were trying to help as many people as quickly as they could I will give them credit for that. I was late for my appointment so they did make me sign in under a walk in which was somewhat annoying but I understood. It was my fault but they both were very nice and very helpful. Walked in this morning at 8:10 for an 8:15 appointment. There was no one at the front but I signed in and sat in the lobby. A few minutes later, a nurse came out and called my name to obtain my paperwork. Good morning, hi, to you too. I was immediately taken back to take my measurements and blood drawn. I was out the door by 8:19. Customer Service: None. Facility: Clean and cold. Procedure (blood drawn): Quickest and for once I didn't feel like I was going to pass out afterwards. I don't do well with blood being drawn, therefore to not feel light-headed at all was a huge plus! Overall: The reason for my 4 stars, although customer service seems extinct, was the fast service. My wife and i had to get blood test done. She had to get back to work it took us less then half hour in and out . Front receptionist is the rudest lady I've ever encountered. I realize they are busy but don't be a receptionist if you're not going to be kind. I missed a part of the form and she practically gave me the death stare. When they finally got ready for my blood test, They had told me right then and there that they were not going to give me a copy of the form, so I asked to take a picture of so I can document which tests my doctor was asking for. The lady rudely said that I should've done that before we sat down to draw my blood. Ugh. I didn't have my doctor's lab orders with me because they've always been faxed/emailed in in advance (I've never had to bring paperwork in and I have to get lab work done on a regular basis). I normally do not write yelp reviews, but felt compelled after my mom's recent experience this past Friday. Prior to the lab draw, the waiting room, although quite full with people during the first hour, the actual process was very organized and quick. For the actual lab draw, my mom states that her phlebotomist, Cari (not sure of her the exact spelling, so asked for her to write her name, so we could specifically write a yelp review for her), was perhaps the most friendly and professional phlebotomist that she had met in all her years, and could not even hardly feel the actual blood draw. Even the day prior, I had made a quick visit to locate the area and ask any pending questions for my mom. I was met with the receptionist who was very friendly and more than happy to answer my lingering questions. I know the previous reviews here have been subpar, but I wanted to mention my mom's wonderful experience. We will definitely be back for any future lab work. They made negligent mistakes causing me to have to urinate in a bottle for 24 hours twice. Nurse was stressed because of a very long line with wait times over 1 hour for walk ins. Policy about taking temperature is unreasonable. I offered a wrist temperature because studies show a touch-less infrared thermometer is improper when taken on the head because of needless radiation exposure to the brain (some photons penetrate similar to a weak x ray), especially when taken repeatedly...plus many studies show the wrist is more accurate. Because of their mistake with the 24 hour urine sample they wanted me to go back again and get exposure to the infrared temperature to the head again just to drop off the sample because of their mistake. i called corporate where I spoke with Claudia who was rude about the whole thing with a "that's our policy take it or leave it" attitude. I understand temperature reading is required due to covid precaution but it is unreasonable to require it be taken via infrared thermometer laser pointed at the head when the wrist would be just as accurate and safer because no unnecessary brain exposure to low level radiation. Even more so when they want to do it again because of their mistakes. read more
