I would give this facility zero stars of I could. I went there this afternoon for some blood work and 2 stool samples. Damn, this lady must hate her job. I waited and waited, and she greeted me with, "What do you want?". No one else was there, so I asked if I could have the blood work. She was snippy with me. " We only take appointments " and walked away. I said, "Please don't walk away from me." I need to get the packets for the 2 stool tests. She said nothing, and then I proceeded to wait 10 minutes. I don't use Labcorp but I have to take my elderly mother to Labcorp to get her blood drawn etc. I have never liked Labcorp, and I go to Quest for my own bloodwork, but my mother's doctor always sends my mother to Labcorp. The people who work there are never very friendly, and they talk to people like they're stupid. When I have been in the waiting room waiting for mother, I hear the way they speak to people, and it's unprofessional. Today, I had to drop off a sample for my mother, and the woman at the front desk seemed very put off that she didn't come herself, I was given an attitude about it. When I was dropping off the sample in the back, one of the phlebotomists screeched at me: YOU HAVE TO CHECK THAT IN!! YOU CANNOT JUST LEAVE IT!! I was not sure if she was talking to me, so I turned around and she screeched at me again. I sort of laughed and said: yes, I know. That is why I am waiting here for the tech to take the specimen from me. As I walked out, I said: I think you all need to stop drinking coffee because you're wound up way too tight. This might not be your typical review. However, it was a significant day in my life, so I am leaving a 2nd review for the lab Corp in San Dimas. I have an extreme phobia of needles, and it's possible this review might get personal, but it has a good ending. I have been working with a psychologist for over 2 years to try to help me get a blood test. Go figure! So, I literally had homework assignments for baby steps. Drive to lab, turn back, and go home. Drive to lab, go inside and walk out, and drive home. Sounds nutty right. Well, this is my demon! Had to go to the doctor's office on Monday to get a new slip. This is the 4th one I have gotten since they expire. Lol. I decided to go to the lab today and talk to a flabotomist and see if they could talk to me about different approaches, etc. Or to reduce my anxiety. There was Jennifer. She was simply amazing. A room full of people, and she talked to me in a way that really calmed me down. Jennifer was so nice and finally someone who understood this fear. She said, "Let's go do it now." I got you. I will get you through this. She took me into room 3, equipped with a butterfly needle, and talked to me nonstop about my day, my life, etc. I didn't even feel the needle. She asked me how I was doing. I cried for the next few minutes:) So thank you, Lab Corp, and thank you, Jennifer. You earned 5 stars and more. This was a conquest and a big deal for me. read more

I went here midday for bloodwork last month and the wait was two hours without an appointment. I went online and made an appointment for today. When I got there they were looking for my order and then the system went down. They were trying to reboot but it was going to take awhile. This used to be such an efficient office but something must be happening to make the process so slow. I'm very surprised by the bad reviews here, every time I come here it's a quick in and out with friendly staff and phlebotomist that know what they're doing. I don't think I've ever been here longer than 15 minutes, maybe 20 at the most total from the moment I stepped my foot in the door to the moment I leave. I'd say fora lab that's pretty dang impressive and I'm talking about not having an appointment. I highly recommend middle of the week coming early in the morning, but I've even come as late as 930 and it's still such an easy process. I've been going to this clinic for around 7 years. I know that it's always busy there so I always schedule my appointment online because I don't want to be there for hours. Having an appointment helps a lot as you can check in and wait in your car and you will receive a text when they are ready for you. I usually don't have problems dealing with the front desk. I would just tell her that I have an appointment and then she will ask for my paperwork and tell me to wait a little bit but the last time I was there, 1st week of September, she humiliated me and insisted that I should fall in line. I was showing her my phone to let her know that I have an appointment and that a technician is ready to see me but she didn't want to listen to me. I think she was overwhelmed because the room was full packed and there were people waiting outside, so she insisted that I should fall in line. I tried telling her again that I have an appointment but she won't even let me speak and so everybody was looking at me as if I was so special that I don't have to fall in line. This was the first time she did this to me. And like I said I have been going to this clinic for over seven years, every 3-4 months. I have another appointment in a few months and I want to see if she will treat me the same way because if she does, I will ask for her name and file a complaint. This lady should get reprimanded. Lab corps in this area have been working at capacity and with fewer offices open. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I was told by a worker that two offices in San Dimas were down and the others had a reduced staff. Appointments are crucial to avoid long waits. When I rescheduled for Thursday they again had signs stating they would be closed until Monday the 30th. I drove farther to go to this location because of all the horrible reviews for the other Labcorp locations. I was in and out as a walk-in. Came in after lunch time. The phlebotomist was kind and gentle. If you're freaked out by needles, give them a heads up. Also had a patient, with what seems to be dementia, who approached our station and started conversing while the phlebotomist was drawing my blood. That's the first. The gentleman was harmless, but that was not ok. The last thing you want while a needle is sticking out of your arm with blood being sucked out is a distraction for the phlebotomist - mine handled it well. There needs to be a policy requirement that such patients need to be accompanied by their caretaker at all times. read more

Went to Labcorp for the first time and it was a pleasant and quick experience. Went through the North entrance and luckily the parking lots all connect. The labcorp is on the South side of the lot. Parked right near the front. Went into the entrance and veered toward the right. Went into Labcorp and there was only one other person there. I had a 11 am appointment. There was someone to show me how to scan my code to check in. They had check in kiosks for easier check ins. Then I confirmed my insurance with the girl at the front desk. It is difficult to give Labcorp a rating since the expericece with the front desk and phlebotomist were different. First, I arrived at the site, I checked in with my phone and waited 2 minutes in my car. I was sent a text, and was told it was my turn. I was out of Labcorp 15 minutes earlier then my appoitment time. Rating= 5 STARS I have had my blood drawn from this lab without any problems in the past. Today, when it came to getting my blood drawn, the phlebotoimist went directly to my left arm and started to take the blood without assessing the right arm. After she discovered that the blood was not flowing well, she decided to finish drawing blood from my right arm. Like some of the other reviewers, I come to this LabCorp because it is better than the other ones. At my last visit, no one was at the window for a very long time. She had followed a client back into a treatment room and did not return until that client was done. I assume she was needed for that. When she returned, she explained that they have only one person (clerical person?) scheduled after a certain time in the afternoon. That's not her fault, but I'm pretty sure the CEO of Labcorp received increased, not less., compensation during COVID, and can afford to staff offices adequately. Shame on the CEO. You've heard of horse whisperers and dog whisperers. Weill, I must give a shout-out to Lisette. I call her the blood whisperer. I am 68 and tend to get dehydrated. I try to drink a lot of water before I go. Even so, the phlebotomist ALWAYS has trouble getting blood from me. They start with a butterfly and still need multiple tries and tend to need to call in the most experienced person on staff. Last time I was served by someone other than Lisette, the supervisor finally got the blood by taking it from the back of my hand. Lisette, on the other hand, always gets my blood on the first try. Most of the people in line were elderly, and it breaks my heart to see how they are treated by the front desk. Should a 0. Rude staff. Wouldn't clean off the counter or sign-in machine during Coronavirus after patient ahead of me was sprawled across the counter. Said she "couldn't" check me in on her end (even though they do it when the machine isn't working) and literally threw an alcohol wipe on the counter and said, you can clean it if you want to. Came here for a routine bloodwork bc the Labcorp near me is garbage. I had an appointment but it wasn't crowded or packed like other Labcorp locations. The people at the front desk were nice and checked me in a timely manner. Something I noticed about this Labcorp was it was very clean and organized.
