Great phlebotomists, come early without appointment if you want to get in... Always booked out!!

Quest gives the worst customer service of any company on the planet. Trying to make an appointment online, but on my phone, is next to impossible. The platform is ridiculous and doesn't understand normal names. If you try to do a walk in, they treat you like a pariah. Not everyone has the tech or bandwidth to make an appointment. (I do, but it's a really crappy platform!) There's no one at the front desk anymore at any location so the phlebotomists act like they are constantly hassled because the appointment system is faulty, the kiosks don't always work, or someone may just have a question. I can't imagine a worse place to work. Now the phlebotomists have to handle all of the paperwork, approvals, and insurance information because they are too cheap to have someone at the front desk. They have a captive audience if your insurance mandates you go there. I surely wouldn't if I had a choice. The phlebotomist complained that they have over 200 blood draws a day, which means your business is booming, but you can't manage it. Spend the money to revamp your system and get some good management and customer service skills. The fish stinks from the head. read more

Went here for lab, the service front desk was pretty good and fast. The lab technician was not very nice. She came out calling our names as drill sergeants. Been here for over an hour. Nobody is being helped & the room keeps filling up with people. 1 person called in over an hour. Seems like even people with an appointment are not getting called. 1 of the 3 ladies working seem to be in an ultra bad mood. Quest has a varying degree of wait times due to appointments and walk ins, so it can be hard to give a review here. It's great you can walk in or make an appointment. I typically walk up from my doctor's office and wait without an appointment. Today there aren't very many people here and the wait was less than 15 minutes. I signed in, filled out three lines on the billing sheet and was seated. It's a quick process thank goodness. I was greeted and taken back for my tests, treated with care and kindness. The woman was really chatty and joking with me, making the appointment go by much faster. She was very attentive to detail regarding my information and during the blood collection. 5 stars to that! For the number of people they see everyday they still deliver excellent service. read more

Compared to all the other Quest locations, this is the best. Fast, friendly and open early. I have been to this location twice now. Other than the rock they hired at the front desk, everyone else seemed professional, polite and intelligent. Sorry that the first person you see and talk to seemed as bright as a burned out light bulb at 8:30 in the morning. But once I got her on the right page, everything went fast and efficient. Hardly any wait time. People were coming in and going out at the same pace. My tech was Ally. She was friendly, warm hands, funny and talkative. Made the time fly by and the needles not hurt as much.. Just need to know that the entrance is between the parking garage and the building. not the hospital entrance. read more

Okay, let's be honest, I hate going to get my blood drawn. I'm a difficult stick and most don't know what to do when I tell them to use a small needle or a pediatric butterfly. I decided to go in at 6:00 am since I really didn't want to be there all day! They do take walk-ins which is nice. Thanks to previous reviewers here on Yelp, I found the Del Webb Medical Building quickly. Piece of cake if you do your research with GPS! The staff were wonderful! I don't know about you folks, but, at 6:00am, I'm not even awake let alone willing to deal with smart mouthed clients..... I will give all of these employees a high five for just being there at 6:00 AM. Ally was assigned to my case and it didn't take long for her to get the stick right. Kudos to Ally! She is wonderful! I think this is one of the nicest Quest locations. It is clean, large and staffed well with good people. read more

This was my first visit here. Everyone was really nice and the service was super fast. I had an 8:45 appointment and I was back in the car by 9. I went in for a quick wellness visit for my employer: blood work, weight, blood pressure check. Was easy to find - coming up Eastern make the first right turn past St Rose Pkwy and it takes you right to the garage. Last year I went to the one by Spring Valley Hospital because it was closer to my office - I'll never go there again - it was terrible. I will definitely return to this one. read more

TECH WAS LAZY AND HAD ALL THE EXCUSES NOT TO DO HER JOB!! Made an appointment for my 17 month old baby girl for food allergies on 4/28/'22 @ 2:50pm on Eastern and Windmill location inside Vons. We were late around 5min but the Tech was still attending a patient so we thought it was fine. We waited for approximately 10min for her to get done. Once she finished, right off from the get go she asked us "it's a baby for allergy testing?" We said yes and she told us that [1ST EXCUSE] she's by herself and they usually need two techs so that the 2nd tech can hold the baby down. She also said that she'll try to do it by herself but [2ND EXCUSE] if the baby moves then we'll have to go to a different location. We asked her if the Doctor happened to fax the work order since we didn't bring it with us. She checked and came back to us and told us that she did not find any work order and asked if it's our daughter's first time in that location (not sure how it's relevant), but we said yes. We asked her if we can call the Doctor's office real quick to have them fax over the work order which should just take a few minutes. She said that we cannot do that and that we'll have to make another appointment. [3RD EXCUSE] She said that we were already 10mins late (which is not true because we were only 5mins late). We told her that we were late but she was still attending another person when we arrived anyway so why can't we just have the work order faxed now. She said [4TH EXCUSE] that there's other appointments after us. All this time happening, she let another person COME BACK in the office and told him that he could just sign in as a walk in and do what he needs to do in the bathroom for the urine sample. How come she let that person come back and she won't let us call our Doctor to fax the work order which only takes 3mins at the most. Because she's INCOMPETENT and a LAZY@$$! It was already between 3:05pm-3:10pm and it's getting close to the end of her shift which is 4pm. LAZY! Because she would rather not deal with a crying toddler. Those waisted time arguing and giving us excuses, our Doctor could've already faxed the paperwork. Based on all these bad reviews, Quest Diagnostic must not care about customer service and keeps hiring incompetent people. Very convenient location. Very state of the art automatic check in. Very organized. Very clean. Quick and timely with appointment time. But.... the receptionists (2) are rude. I went to have some testing done and I checked in on the screen. The front desk person, an old female and a guy. Neither asked what the testing was for, although you enter it on check in. I wait 20 minutes then get called to the front desk, I tell them what I'm there for and they tell me they stop doing the test at noon. I checked in at 12:08p. Really??!! I said you could have told me when I checked in instead of wasting my time. Your website doesn't say anything about a cutoff time only when you close. Of course the rude old female tries to argue with me. Poor customer service, rude staff and poor treatment of patients. They were short and rude to every person that came in. I won't be returning to this location. Quest needs to fire that front desk staff, especially the old snaggled tooth female. read more

I read the reviews and expected the worst however it wasn't bad at all. We came here on Friday at about 10:54am and left about 12:06pm. Both me and the husband needed blood work so it wasn't as long as I expected. The woman up front was really nice and the phlebotomist was super nice. read more

Do not -REPEAT -Do not bother booking an appointment at this location!! Made an appointment for today February 06 at 8.45 am for a routine blood work required for my oncologist yearly visit. While they called me immediately to get tests done (Great !) Went in , sat on the chair rolled my sleeve up -the Grumpy old lady told me that I had the wrong request and that I had already used it before !! What ??? Like my hobby is to schedule appointments to go out there to get my blood taken out for pleasure!! I even offered to pay out of pocket for the tests required if it was an insurance issue -but no she was firm, rude and unapologetic. It is Saturday, my doctors office closed me fasting and she had no care in the world sending me home as to for me to call Monday to request from my Doctor a request that she will accept because she knew more than my Doctors office !! Went to my car google a different location ...... (Quest at Windmill Inside Vons )! What a difference !! Got greeted by a smiling face that told me that this location is appointment only but after I told her my previos experience at the Eastern location -looked at the request FOUND NOTHING wrong and offered to do my tests even without an appointment as long as I waited for the other patients with appointments of course. Point here is --if you are so burned out by your job and have no knowledge or empathy anymore for your patients please enjoy retirement and let other people like Shelby at the other location to offer the services that you sign up to do . I have to say that I was not expecting to have a great experience the morning I arrived without an appointment but needing blood work before a doctor appointment. However, I was proven wrong. After waiting only 45 minutes I was taken back by a lovely woman who was already busy but took the time to take me back and do my labs herself. She was beyond cheerful and to be honest I hardly felt a thing! So so sorry I didn't catch her name on my way out. Made an appointment for 11:45. Checked in at the kiosk at 11:47. Carla at the front desk asked for a copy of the lab order and insurance information then instructed me to sit down. 12:30 still not called back. Went to inquire how long the wait time would be and found I was put at the end of the line after the walk in appointments. She didn't mention a thing at check in an had a poor attitude. At least 8 people were also in line at the front desk asking how much longer they will wait, they were told 1-3 hours ETA...very frustrating and disappointed. Will go to lab corp next time. Never coming back here again. Even though your request is printed for Quest, Lab Corp will honor. Just check before to make sure your insurance plan works with that provider. read more

My husband and I just moved to Las Vegas. However he continues to see his doctors in San Diego. He has an appt coming up in a week and requires bloodwork. He decided to call his Dr's office and have them send a request to this clinic. We arrived at 8am and he checked in with the receptionist and informed her we just moved here, it's his first time with this office and they should have received a request from his doctor. She confirmed that his request made it. All in all our experience was awesome. Conscientious and helpful staff. This will be our go to clinic for bloodwork. Oh hubby checked in at 8am and was done by 8:35 without an appt. there were about 15 people in the waiting room when we arrived. Since I had read the reviews before going to this location I wasn't too disappointed. Everything was pretty spot on. Hour and a half wait time, the blonde lady at the front has an attitude most definitely but once again I was expecting it. All in all, they do their job as best they can. Don't come here expecting to be in and out even with an appointment you'll be waiting awhile. Dot understand what's the purpose of having an appointment if they don't call u on time or grace window of 5-10 mins late which I can accept when things are backed up. Need to get better sign in options so when the lab techs calls ur name they are aware of why u r there for. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and 1 hour and half after arriving and waiting I asked why it is taking so long they said that they did not find my appointment and had to wait after 2 hours still waiting. This review is for Christina R. We have actually had her do labs for our kids at three different locations. The first time was at a different location, and it started with a phlebotomist that was not nice, and not effective. A very unpleasant and traumatizing event for my son was rescued when Christina and another really nice phlebotomist (who happened to have a hearing impairment) came and took over. I was very touched at the kindness of both of them. We try to seek out Christina now, and I would look for the gentleman, too (but I didn't get his name). She goes out of her way to help kids feel comfortable and takes the time to find the best vein. I believe she does something to make it not hurt! I truly appreciate her care. read more

I've been here many times and never had a problem besides a long wait. Today I signed my 8 year old daughter in at 4:30 PM with not one person in the waiting room. The person sitting at the desk was very rude and told me that she suggests I come back when there's two employees, incase they have to hold my daughter down to get her blood taken. I told her that she has never had to have someone hold her down, and it's only taken one employee each time we've been in. At this point the other employee that is clocking out offers to stay and help her. The employee that was not leaving said no, you're supposed to be clocking out. And then suggested that I come back when there's two employees working... even though there was another employee willing to help and we've never had to use two employees to get a blood draw. She simply didn't want to do it, had a poor attitude and clearly was done with her day. What a waste of time and horrible customer service read more

Find another Quest to go to. This one has very very very rude staff and when you make an appointment you still have to wait 2 hours before being called. I have gone to other Quest locations and the staff was amazing and the wait time was no more than 15 minutes past your appointment time. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this particular Quest. No receptionist. Electronic check for in; Great for me... But confused the elderly couple that came in. My name called, took my ID and paperwork, 14 people behind me in line. 14 people cleared out of the reception area. Walked into the back area found a manager and complained. She found my passport laying on the counter... And when I went in for the test, someone else's Pee was still in the room. Floors were littered. Fast service, kinda harsh and rushed. I'd hit the Anthem village location instead. Oh, and she wanted to leave my purse alone in a room unattended. I asked to have it locked up... She said it was too big to fit in their "locker". Said I should've brought somebody with me to leave it with. Huh!? It's an average size purse. It fit in the "locker" which was actually a quest lab drop-off box. read more

I've been going to this one for awhile. I don't trust it anymore. I get the same blood tests every month for a chronic illness and have no changes in what gets ordered. Suddenly a new batch of hires (small gentleman with short black hair and an elderly woman with glasses and a heavy set figure) keep making the monthly trip dreadful. The small guy kept mixing up my paperwork with my brother's, and denying me from getting my blood drawn till my doctor faxes them the order. A huge pain because my doctor is the chief of his department and very busy, it'll take a long time to get thru. The older woman has a terrible attitude and was quite rough with the needle. I don't bruse easily, but when that old bat draws my blood, I'm always guaranteed a nice big bruse and pain. Anyway, I try to go this morning and the same song and dance starts. The gnome can't find my paperwork, asks me about my brother, then tells me it's all wrong and needs to be faxed. I show him my all of the info he needs on my phone and ask why he can't see that on his computer. He ignored me and proceeded to say that my doctor put in the order wrong and told me to call his office to get it all faxed. Not again. I tell this tiny guy that I was done with his bull. If this happens every time I come in, how can I trust you? I go to another Quest down the road, and low and behold, my paperwork is fine and all in order. They get me in and out. No issues. The staff at THIS Quest is absolutely horrid. FIRE ALL OF THEM. read more

The blonde lady at the front desk was just beyond rude. I was greeted with "WHAT IS THAT?" (It was my sample of urine in a jug on ice for a protein test.) She made me feel stupid that it was on ice, as my doctor told me to do. When she asked for my insurance, I handed her my ID and continued to look for insurance. She said "THIS IS YOUR ID, I SAID I NEED INSURANCE." I did not write the end time of my collection because it was for 24 hours and she made me feel like an idiot again. Honestly, if I didn't have a fear of her tampering with my sample, I would have asked to speak with someone else and made a complaint right there on the spot. TERRIBLE experience. The lady who took my blood was obviously having a bad day.. She had a really bad attitude problem asking why I was coming in twice to get blood work and why I was having so much blood work done (as if it's any of her business) When she finally quit complaining and took my blood she says "You have nice vains" CLEARLY she was mad or she just can't do her job because my vain blew and my arm swelled up like a golf ball. I had to get some pre-surgery labwork done, I originally went to the location off of Siena Heights after work only to discover I just missed it by a few minutes as that location closes at 4p, so someone in the building mentioned this location across the street on Eastern, so I rushed over and it was soooooooooooooooo quick! I was in and out in less than ten minutes! I will definitely opt to go to this location for any future labs! read more

My only issue was, Quest moved across the street in the Dell Webb Medical Building. I had issues locating the offices.

My daughter had to get some bloodwork done. I made her an appointment for the day after Thanksgiving. I made the appointment @ 6 weeks ago. I looked online at their hours for the day after Thanksgiving. Every time it stated it was open at 6am. I also received several texts and emails confirming her appointment at 6:45 am. Even on Thanksgiving Day, I received a text confirming her appointment for Friday. We arrived @6, since I was not very sure where Quest was located. We get to Quest and there are several people lined up in the hallway. I look at their door and two signs state they won't open up til 7!! I understand it's the day after a holiday, had they put the hours on the website and maybe emailed those with appointments it would of been nice. When the employees started to arrive, they didn't understand why there was soo many people lined up in the hallway. I never hear an apology from anyone there. When I scanned the code for the appointment it stated I was late due to the fact it was 7 and was considered a walk in. Like I have said, I get that the day after Thanksgiving the hours could change.
