Touched infected toe then finger straight to mouth. No sanitization. Gotta throw away the whole mouth now. Anyways, I told him I would still like the doctor to take a look because it looked hella infected. Doctor came in, and started arguing with me trying to convince me my toe was infected. I said, Sir, I agree. That is why I am here. He was annoyed with me and acting like I was fighting with him, Sir? Again? I said I agree? My toe is clearly infected? I'm here for some pills? The whole time the doctor spoke to me as if I was fighting him which was so bizarre. The only person in this equation who didn't think I had an infected toe was the male nurse who did not sanitize his finger. Anyways, giving it a 2 because I got my antibiotics.

You create a profile and can make updates as well as receive updates about your labs. You're able to access via mobile or at one of their kiosk inside. Depending on the day and your needs you can be seen rather promptly and address any concerns with a provider. The staff here is friendly, personable and thoughtful. They keep this confidential referring to individuals by their number. The Aids Health Foundation aka AHF has offered free testing services since the early 1990s, with this flagship location taking full effect in 2017. Offering free walk-in as well as appointment-based testing for STIs/STDS, HIV, and other services including vaccines, PEP treatment and PREP services for Descovy, Truvada and other HIV prevention medication. You sexual health is important to know and keep up with and nothing to be ashamed of #KnowYourStatus - one thing I truly love about AHF - Western is it's open to all. Free contraceptives. Free candy/suckers. Free services, though you can donate, which I do once a quarter. It's a short stroll from Hollywood/Western station and parking is easy in their lot and/or street local parking. Always dig the music here + free Wi-Fi. Their West Adams location is open on Mondays, but closed on Tuesdays with similar hours, but I highly recommend AHF Western first and foremost.

I lived in SF and all of the Carbon Health locations there were incredibly attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, that care did not translate to this Echo Park location. Off the bat, the smoke alarm low battery warning is chirping constantly upon your arrival. Not an encouraging sign and clearly shows a lack of upkeep of the space. The receptionist checks me in quickly, while editing a video of herself on her phone. I get taken into my room fairly quickly, and make it clear that I'm there to test my ferritin levels because I am anemic and feeling consistent exhaustion, and to get a CBC. Both the nurse and the practitioner are aware that this is why I am there as we talk about my symptoms in detail. I wait FORTY minutes for the practitioner to see me, despite there being nobody in the waiting room when I check in. Finally, I step out and tell them I have another appt and need to leave ASAP. They finally acknowledge me, meet, and get the blood test finished within 5 minutes. I'm not sure if they forgot I was there or what, but I heard them all chatting and laughing the entire time I was in the room. I get my lab results quickly, within 24 hours, but realize that the lab they ordered does not include ferritin, which was the entire reason I booked the visit. $50 copay down the drain for them to not test the specific item I went for. This place is an absolute joke and I would not trust them with my medical care. Clearly all the 1 star reviews show I am not alone. I'm going to try out Tia down the street and hope they will be more responsible healthcare providers.

There was no wait - but really , they don't have anything that can help you if you have stomach issues or things that can't be fixed superficially. They did a flu test and some labs, and sent me home. I should have just waited for my primary care cause I need to go there now to follow up because my visit didn't resolve anything. I followed up with a phone call and they believed they had sent it, but it was not sent or somewhere or somehow it was not received, but immediately they corrected it whether it was the pharmacies's fault or the emergency. I told the doctor of my symptoms (intense headache, intense muscle aches, fever, chills, stomach discomfort... I told them I had absolutely no respiratory or sinus symptoms. They again tested for covid/flu (negative) and also took a test for all the other things out there and said I would get the results back in a day or two. When I got the results back, I read the report saying: "The patient presents with a chief complaint of nasal congestion of the sinuses. The patient denies the following recent symptoms: * Constitutional: denies chills, fever". This is completely wrong information In my medical chart. The lack of care in getting information correct makes me question everything about this place. What if I went into a coma and this was the only info anyone had to go off of? Super unprofessional.
