The young lady who drew my blood, I believe her name is Marisol was amazing. Excellent bedside manner and very good listener. In addition, my favorite thing about her is that I did not feel the needle insertion. That's how good she was. I can only hope to get her again the next time I need to get labs done. read more

It was easy to make an appointment online. Self service kiosks made it easy to check in on arrival. The technicians for both me and my husband were efficient and quite capable. Neither of us have pain or bruising at the draw site. Whomever posted directions on Quest's location is a dear and helped alleviate the stress the morning of the appointment. My daughter needed to have lab work completed as part of a presurgery checklist from her orthopedic surgeon. We obtained a lab slip to Quest Diagnostics and filled out an online account for her so we could see the lab work. Her pediatrician added a few xtra lab items to be checked because we have a family history of autoimmune issues. However, after she had her lab work done, we went into her account to obtain a copy of her labs for the orthopedic surgeon and pediatrician but were told that we cannot get access to her lab work without her going through a facial recognition software and comparing it to a government issued drivers license. She is a minor without a drivers license and there is absolutely no way I would agree to conduct facial recognition on a child! I am absolutely appalled with Quest Diagnostics and will never use them again or recommend them to my own patients! We paid for her lab work but have no access to her results! What a waste of time, money and energy! I reached out to them and talked to an agent who said that there is nothing they can do! Just stunned! We will have to redo her labs somewhere else where we can obtain her lab results for surgery and for her pediatrician! read more

Thank you for your help today!Sophie drew my blood for pre-op lab this morning. I am a difficult draw. She got the butterfly needle in, first try. I was so grateful! The entire check-in process is now automated and there are two kiosks available to take pictures of your ID and insurance cards. I literally waited for a good three or four minutes for a receptionist, and finally noticed the kiosks. The process was efficient and quick. As I was leaving, I told the next gentleman going in that Sophie was great. He said to me that he already knew, because he had her last time! Went in for labs today. Check in was quick and painless. I made an appointment and was called in within 10 min (I had arrived 20 min early. Marque was very kind and pleasant and made my experience as enjoyable as having blood drawn first thing in the morning without coffee. There was a gentleman in the lobby complaining that "all these people keep going in when they came in after me just because they have an appointment." To that I say - make an appointment if you don't want to wait. Those of us that have taken the time to make one, would not appreciate having our appointments push back because you failed to think ahead. Just my 2 cents. I don't think anyone should fault a business for wait time if you haven't done your part to make your experience quick and easy. Thank you quest and great job. read more

No one answers the phone then you get a computer that doesn't understand English & sends you back to the beginning or says goodbye when all I was trying to do is make an appointment then after I had finally what I thought was an appointment the f***** computer wouldn't repeat the code needed to give to the desk!!!!! I don't know why they can't pick up the phone like humans & give me a number then I'd be done but I had to call several times and listened to the recorded message then couldn't get through to a human so I had to go online finally just to make an appointment! I'm a senior & this is very confusing and frustrating! It's sad that no one seems to care how difficult it is to deal with computers and not people. You need to upgrade your system! read more

The only reason I can't give a high score is that I find the process of making an appointment here to be almost like going to.H-E double Hockey stick... the last time I went, my doctor's office staff called and made my appointment because I literally cried at her desk and begged for help. The form you get from your physician is nothing like the choices you get when you phone for and appointment. Using the online form is no better. Why can't they simplify with a numeric choice list in plain English..who knows. You can't even go there in person, show them the order form and make an appointment. That's just a bad way to do things. Your only choices are make your appointment online or by calling a computer or just go there and wait. Waiting there is worse than waiting at DMV. Once you get in a room and /or interact with the staff, things are smooth, sweet and professional. That's the good part. I'd give 4 it 5 stars if I could speak to a real person when I made an appointment. I've been to at least 5 of their locations...same situation in all of them.The employees probably get a lot if bad feedback/attitude from incoming patients who are frustrated with getting in there and getting the tests done. For me, I have always needed the blood draw on an empty stomach..like overnight. In the past I've either shown up before they open or had help making the appointment. Years ago you could actually make an appointment in person, but no more. So my last 2 visits I've gone to the orangeburg at Oakdale location ...once by getting help after sobbing to my doctor's assistant and this last time with my husband's help and his just choosing the option that required overnight fasting. When I got there, I just showed them my order form and said I'd possibly pushed the wrong button, and they were fine with that. I made my appointment for noon which was the earliest available at any location before I was supposed to see the doctor with results. I waited less than 5 min even though the waiting room was full with only one chair left..about 20 people. They quickly performed blood drawing and got a urine specimen ..I was in and out in 15 min. But when I left, everyone else waiting was still waiting. For this reason I say..make an appointment even if you have to take a guess at which tests you need...at least then you can say you made an error..so what. That's my plan from now on. I choose the overnight fasting blood test. I don't think there are any other choices except Quest. I sure wanted to go elsewhere...even a hospital. So that's my review...horrible for booking an appointment time and place... Great for getting your blood work done by professionaI, friendly workers in a clean workplace. Parking is perfect at the orangeburg location. It's just right out the door ...diagonal ..very shirt walk. The small waiting room had decent chairs...not great but not rickety or broken or dirty. There was a screaming baby with an inattentive caretaker/mom? , a few magazines...I felt sorry for those who had to wait a long time. The lady sitting next to me had no appointment and had been waiting over an hour. . Things would be fine if only the appointment desk were more user friendly. Good luck everyone! read more

Suzanne was the lady in the front and before I checked in I told her that the dr told me to let you know that I'm doing a blood sugar test so I'm not waiting for the drink, she was complete rude and said check in I can't do 2 things at once. This was my first visit to this location. It was annoying to find out that THEY DID NOT OPEN AT 6AM as listed on the Quest website. The building is open at 6 if you want to be first in line (there are 3 or 4 chairs), but the Quest Lab didn't open until 7. I wasn't sure I was in the right place because I just saw a bunch of doors and hallways, and I don't remember any signage on the building, the doors, or from the streets/parking lot saying QUEST. However, once you find the 1401 entrance, if you know the office number (107), it's not that hard to find--it's the first door on the right--and the day I went there was a standing sign outside the door as well as posters on the door. Compared to other locations, this one felt small and closed-in, so I didn't like that. I had made an appointment online, there were 4 or 5 people ahead of me in line, but I was out in less than 15 minutes and the staff was friendly, so overall, it was a good/average visit. read more

Didn't get the name of the lady who "attempted" to help me. After spending AN HOUR in their very horrible smelly waiting room with no AC when it's over 100 degrees out, apparently the forms my doctor gave me weren't filled out with my ordering physicians name and address, which I gave to try and help her find the provider online. She said she couldn't find my provider on her computer. She then had me go all the way back to my doctors office to get them to fill out the form WITH THE EXACT information I had given her when I was there! After returning and having to sit and wait again, another tech was able to find the provider with the exact information I had given. This is so unprofessional. If someone doesn't know how to look up a provider on the computer with all the information they need some further training or maybe just have this whole location looked into. This whole ordeal cost me 2 hours of my time to give ONE vial of blood. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Checked in (without an appt, so I expected to have to wait of course) and waited 50 minutes and still hadn't been called back. It was originally estimated that my wait time would be 37 minutes ( which is also ridiculous). I realize some of the people taken back before me had appts. however, I watched several people WITHOUT appts. that had come in AFTER me get called back before me. I work in this office building so the LOCATION is convenient but the customer service is SLOOOOOW. I brought this to Suzanne's attention twice before finally leaving without getting the services I had come for. I will leave the building (where I work) and go elsewhere for lab work. By the way, there was NEVER more than 10 customers in the waiting room, so they weren't even BUSY!! read more
